HI all! My apologies for my delayed review…just a note of caution, always listen to your childhood teachers and save your work haha! As is my normal routine, I began to write my review after watching the latest episode yesterday. However, I happened to write my review directly on the forum page and as I was half way through it, I accidentally refreshed the page and that was goodbye to all of my work haha! In any case, I recently saw the episode again, because I loved it so much, so I couldn’t help but share my thoughts on it! Before I begin, just judging by the precap for today’s episode, that signals a steamy romantic scene ahead, and all of the beautiful Riansh moments that we were inundated with this week, I’m starting to believe that this is the calm before the storm! I feel Riddhima will either try to send Vansh away from the hotel (though I don’t know how) in order to protect him and then will be attacked by Sarah….then that will clearly be bye bye Baby Dottu (oh please god no). Or Riddhima may interrupt Vansh’s upcoming business deal to protect him from Sarah’s attack and then be caught in the crossfire…again I’m scared for her and the baby. Then again, perhaps IMM2 has just trained our (or at least my) minds so much to fear the worst, that I can’t help but feel strange and surprised by seeing so many romantic moments and mention of the baby in one week. Perhaps, the makers are just trying to please the audience and simply show us some light-hearted moments lol! Plus, I’m trying to convince myself that neither Riansh will separate nor will the baby die as long as they are in Goa…I mean it would really put a damper on their holiday, right haha? In any case, let’s see what happens next and enjoy the ride!

Going to the episode itself, it had all the makings of a good IMM2 episode, including a good confrontation scene, an alarming message from a villain signaling looming danger, a playful romantic scene, and RIansh plotting against and playing mind games with one another! The episode opened with RIddhima confronting Aryan about his alliance with Vyom, which he flat out denied, Then it progressed to Sarah murdering the doctor whom RIddhima had employed to “take care” of/drug her and Sarah informing her bestie about her determination to ruin her life. In this scene, Sarah showed all shades of crazy, but at least I thought that she would make a great girlfriend for Kabir, if she ever decided to give love a shot haha! Then to lighten the mood, the makers featured an absolutely adorable and rather steamy basketball scene in which Vansh challenged RIddhima to a game on the old b-ball court, but ultimately lost as he was distracted by her as she was scantily clad….okay, she wasn’t really wearing anything provocative, just simple gym clothes, but Vansh was so mesmerized by her and acted as if he had never seen her in anything less (I mean they’re married after all) haha! In any case, after the game, they went on to have drinks by the pool, while Vansh slipped the second dose of that wretched truth serum into her drink (oh dear god haha) to find Sarah’s whereabouts/address! But our RIddhu was much smarter this time around and recognized her hubby’s ruse and instead turned the tables on him by leading him to the wrong address. The episode ended with Vansh realizing that he had been duped by his lady love, but determined to give her the final dose….okay, there’s only so many times I can forgive this man! In any case, it was a very enjoyable episode (especially the adorable basketball scene), and the steamy romantic precap has me and I’m sure all of us excited for today’s episode….but again, let’s hope that this doesn’t signal some forthcoming tragedy, and rather is just a pleasant romantic moment between the young couple! Now on to the episode
1. The Aryan-RIddhima scene: Today, RIddhima wasn’t playing any games. Yesterday, after seeing Vyom slip Aryan a mysterious package to Aryan, our pint-sized spy, RIddhima, went after Aryan with her full force…She followed him into a hallway, snatched the envelope from his hands, and threatened him (in an aggressive tone) to tell her about his association with Vyom or she would mention the matter to Vansh. This all was enough to put the fear of God into Aryan, so much so that he started to call Riddhima “bhabhi ji” in a surprisingly genuine and meek manner haha! He claimed that he owed money to some creditors and if he didn’t repay them, they would harm him. Vyom apparently found out about his debt and then was willing to “help” Aryan out. Aryan knew Vyom was a bad guy, but still went to get his gold chain? and money from him the night before near the pool around the same time that Riddhima was pushed into the pool…a very convenient story lol! By his excuse, he started to convince RIddhima that he didn’t throw her in the pool, but she was still certain that he was Black Mamba, even though Aryan seemed confused upon hearing mention of that name. Surprisingly, even after RIddhima told him that she had previously searched his phone and saw some mention of Black Mamba on it, he denied knowing about the name and let her check his phone. There was in fact no mention of Black Mamba in his text messages! However, our dear detective RIddhima wasn’t convinced and said that Aryan probably deleted the message, and claimed that the matter wasn’t closed there. Honestly, as surprising as it was that Aryan allowed Riddhima to check his phone without much resistance and didn’t yell at her for looking through his phone before, I do believe that he’s not Black Mamba…The boy’s always a soft target and not smart enough to be a mastermind….Black Mamba is indeed someone mysterious and dangerous and that in no way fits Aryan’s profile…even his own mother had 0 confidence in him that he could kill someone lol. I previously mentioned that I found it suspicious that RIddhima never searched Ishani’s room….I think that eventually RIddhima will suspect her and even find incriminating evidence against her and will then try to “expose” her in front of the family as the real culprit. However, perhaps then it will be revealed to the audience that the real Black Mamba is in fact our Angry Angre…Although, I really hope that Angre is not a villain (cause we love our RIanshagre), it would be interesting to explore his character’s backstory and motivations, if he does turn out to be Black Mamba. However, if he’s not the culprit, I would be more than happy and anxiety-free, if Anupriya turns out to be Black Mamba….let’s see how this all unfolds!
2. The Sarah-Riddhima phone call: In the previous scene, the fear of God and RIddhima was put into Aryan and after this scene, the fear of Sarah was put into me haha! The girl was all types of psycho, especially with her crazy eyes and in the horrific way in which she stabbed to death the doctor whom RIddhima had employed to sedate her and talked to his corpse. Honestly, after seeing how psychotic she was, my first thought was that I feared for RIansh and Dottu and the second thought that crossed my mind was that she would be the perfect match for our resident psycho….our dear crazy Kabir haha! In any case, after carrying out another kill, she made an alarming phone call to RIddhima informing her that the doctor had been murdered and she was going to kill Vansh and Dottu….why does she have to drag Dottu in all of this haha? As much as RIddhima tried to appear strong and steadfast in her interaction with Sarah, the latter called her a scaredy cat….just like RIddhima was when Gayu used to scare her at night in the orphanage….I was right, Gayu was a bully when she was younger haha! In any case, as Riddhima is unfamiliar with this new, murderous version of Gayu/Sarah, the latter also doesn’t know Riddhima 2.0, so their interaction should be exciting to watch! Also, interestingly enough, here again RIansh’s stories mirror one another: Vansh had a childhood friend (Vyom), who later turned out to be his psychotic nemisis, and here Gayu is RIddhima’s friend, who also is a crazy assassin who is set to destroy her!
3. The RIansh basketball scene: To diffuse the tension and let off some steam after his tense interaction with Vyom the day before, Vansh challenged RIddhima to a basketball game, to which she happily agreed (the girl also needed a distraction after that horrid phone call from Gayu)! Also, for some reason, I feel Rrahul was actually mocking Helly’s basketball skills through Vansh, as his character emphatically repeated that RIddhima’s basketball skills “sucked”….it seemed like he was getting too much pleasure or humor from saying that lol. In any case, they progressed to the old b-ball court….though I don’t understand how RIddhima could go on to engage in a game of basketball after her employee (the doctor) was brutally murdered…the girl has really become a full-on mafia wife lol! To begin with, Vansh looked absolutely gorgeous with his red, sleeveless shirt and sunglasses, and RIddhima looked like a classic cutie pie with her workout clothes and braided hair…plus, I’m so happy that she no longer has to play basketball in a sari…I always found it unfair that she had to play in those clothes in the ITV version, since it’s so hard to move around in them! In any case, as it seemed that RIddhima was positioned to make her first shot, Vansh, being the mischievous man that he is, pinched her stomach to stop her from winning, and then scored a shot himself. RIddhima was visibly irritated by his little (but not unfamiliar) trick and yelled, “Vansh, you cheated.” To seal and bask in his victory, he recited lines from the classic 1990s film, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,” while laying his finger on RIddhima’s nose, “No matter how and how many hurdles enemies place before you, no distractions allowed”…nice move Vansh, but our girl is no loser and had some tricks up her sleeve too! She said it was very hot outside and sent Vansh’s blood pressure rising when she took off her shirt to reveal her sports bra…this was enough to shock Vansh, who stood dumbfounded and seemed as if he had never seen a woman before haha…the woman knows her man so well! Her path to victory was clear…She approached him, wiped the sweat from his brow, took the ball from his hand (which he did not resist in the slightest…the man was still mesmerized and drooling over her haha), and then walked around him….Now that’s how you trap someone in your circle and never let them get out, Vyom lol! After enchanting Vansh with her loving gaze and placing her hand on his cheek, she abruptly turned around to score her victory shot. Then Vansh woke up from his daze and RIddhima cemented her victory and got the last laugh by reciting the same lines that Vansh did from the film! However, the couple decided to finish the game with drinks by the pool! As RIddhima was leaving to freshen up, she gave the cutest hair flip while Vansh flashed a million watt smile at her and said in the most beautiful and joyous way, “RIddhima, I love you.”…Vansh you never fail to steal my heart! Suffice to say, my heart was so full after seeing this scene!
4. The truth serum scene: Those of you who read my reviews from time to time know that I vehemently oppose Vansh’s decision to give his pregnant wife truth serum. That being said, this scene was romantic and I’m a sucker for romantic RIansh moments, so I enjoyed it, despite Vansh’s very morally questionable behavior! The scene began with Vansh mixing the serum in RIddhima’s drink in a rather conspicuous manner…boy, if you’re going to do something shady, at least look around to see if anyone’s there lol! Also, it was clear that RIddhima knew that he was up to no good as she stared for some time at the rim of her glass…instead, she wanted a change of location and chose to sit at her favorite spot…Vansh’s lap. The image of the two lovers sipping on drinks in each other’s arms while that beautiful IMM2 instrumental music played was indeed intimate and magical! After RIddhima seemed visibly “intoxicated” (though she wasn’t fooling us), Vansh spared no time in questioning her about Sarah’s whereabouts. But after months of marriage, RIddhima knew how to handle and even emotionally blackmail her man haha! At first when Vansh questioned her about Sarah’s whereabouts, RIddhima started to repeat that she loved Vansh and Goa and wanted to bring our sweet Dottu there after his birth…Girl, both of you owe that baby waymore than a vacation after all the emotional and physical torture that you’ve put him through haha! She then asked Vansh to bring her a coconut tree that she saw from afar (she’s clearly a rich girl asking for a whole tree, instead of just for the coconuts haha) and then became more somber in saying that, “I didn’t expect much from life. I’m lucky to have you…such a happiness-filled life, such a good husband, who loves me so much. I’m lucky to have you.” Vansh, at this point, looked like he was in agony reflecting on how he could do something so wrong to someone he loved that much (good going RIddhima haha) and said, “I’m lucky to have you sweetheart…thank you for making my life beautiful.” Although those last lines are rather simple and perhaps easily ignorable in the context of the scene, I think they ring so true…Vansh was indeed so tough and lonely before. However, once RIddhima came into his life, she truly changed it for the better and gave Vansh the love and happiness that he so desperately yearned for and deserved! As the clock was racing and RIddhima was running out of things to distract Vansh with, she talked about her first time coming to VR mansion, her fear of the infamous VR, and the evolution of their love, and then gave him a sweet embrace….When there was less than 5 minutes on the clock, she repeated information that Vansh already knew, including that Sarah is a contract killer and that Rddhima wasn’t going to let anything happen to Vansh and Dottu! She then gave Vansh a vague address, when he asked her for Sarah’s location, and then went into a deep slumber! However, Vansh was determined to pursue Sarah by going to the aforementioned address, and gently took Riddhu into his arms, before setting off on his adventure! Needless to say, RIddhima gave us a masterclass on “How to Manipulate and Emotional Blackmail Your Husband” today haha….I loved it!
5. Vansh attempts to track down Sarah: Vansh again spared 0 time in tracking down Sarah…he jetted off to the address that RIddhima gave him without even showering or changing his clothes after that sweaty basketball game haha! He was totally prepared for the worst and had his gun in hand (pointing at the door), expecting some dangerous figure to come from behind it. Instead, he was surprised to find our typical, run of the mill, grumpy uncle answering the door haha! Funnily enough, the uncle answered the door and started yelling at Vansh for pointing a gun at him and threatened to call the cops….although that reaction was justified, which civilian/normal person, would start yelling at and threaten someone who was pointing a gun at them…I would be scared for my life and probably faint or something haha! Vansh, learned a thing or two from Riddhima on creating excuses on the spot, and tried to have a man-to-man conversation with the uncle….Apparently, Vansh claimed that he was in love with a girl named Sarah and wanted to surprise her at work at this location and then asked the man, if Sarah worked there….What guy would just show up at his girlfriend’s job with a gun in his hand to surprise her haha? Well, the uncle wasn’t in the mood for guy talk, said that no Sarah worked there, told Vansh that someone had made a fool of him, and then told him to go away while flashing a sweet smile that he was desperately trying to restrain. Honestly, I cracked up at this part….the man who played the “uncle”/extra seemed like just some real hotel employee/crew member that the makers hired at the last minute and who couldn’t help but control his laughter/visible excitement at making his screen debut as he said his final lines haha! Nevertheless, Vansh was very serious and confused and couldn’t understand at first how RIddhima could lie or mislead him under the influence of drugs…Then he deduced that she had not in fact consumed the drugs!
6. The Riansh split screen scene: This quick, little scene showed us how RIddhima smartly avoided drinking the intoxicating concoction….RIddhima had seen Vansh mix the serum in her drink from afar and was on high alert! Surprisingly enough, RIddhima wasn’t upset that Vansh had drugged her, but felt that she had to mislead him in order to find out more about Black Mamba in his absence…I can’t understand how she’s not upset with Vansh, but I suppose they’ve done worse things to each other, so this was child’’s play lol! In any case, Vansh continued to reflect on how RIddhima avoided drinking the spiked juice and realized that as she had sat on his lap, she had poured the juice into the pool behind him. And apparently RIddhima is a cinephile like Vansh because he realized that she pulled a total “Usual Suspects” on him by looking around at the different posters and signs at the hotel to come up with a fake address to give to Vansh…the girl is a genius, what can I say! Plus, the image of RIddhima covering the sides of her face to hide herself looking around for some indication of a fake address was too funny to say the least….I love how the RIddhima 2.0 character can be funny, emotional, sensitive, passionate, and brave all at the same time! I loved how Vansh smiled to himself when it dawned on him how skillfully RIddhima had duped him….the man appreciates his wife’s intelligence! But as we know, Vansh is not one to lose, and was resolved to give her the third and final dose of the serum….are you SERIOUS (please lord protect our sweet Baby Rai SInghania)!
7. Precap: Okay, the precap looks magical, steamy, romantic, and passionate to say the least! It looks like a dream, but I really hope it doesn’t end as a nightmare. I was captivated by how Vansh was slowly removing Riddhima jewelry and untying her hair while whispering in her ear that “every night of mine is yours…I want to make tonight memorable”, after which he carried her into the pool….oh god! But his final words, “I’m not going anywhere/never leaving you” did awaken me from my trance! I’m just going to hope for the best and believe that Riansh are finally going to have their romance filled night in Goa with no interruptions (though that’s a tough ask). However, I’m pretty sure that the events that will follow from this coming week (namely Sarah’s entry) will cause more trouble in RIansh’s life, but I’m going to hope that nothing too horrible transpires….basically expect the worst and hope for the best and enjoy this beautiful romantic dream of a scene along the way!
8. Final comments: Again, I’ve said too much, but today’s episode was a gem like all of this week’s episodes! I’m eagerly awaiting today’s episode and hope that no matter what happens, RIansh will weather this storm together and protect their Dottu as well (please don’t forget about him either).
