Hi everyone 👋👋 how are you all doing?

Hi my dear IMM2 fan family. Sadly, we’ve all heard the news that IMM2 will be ending its shoot in Goa because of new restrictions imposed by the Goan government. On the one hand, I’m very happy with this news because safety comes first and as much as we, or at least, I am obsessed with this series, it’s not worth the cast and crew risking their lives over it! That being said, I really hope that the series doesn’t get cancelled as was the fate of many such series during the first wave of the pandemic….but I’m sure our loyal fan family won’t let that happen! Also, I’m not sure if it helps, but I think at least with IMM2 supposedly being available on Amazon Prime for international viewers (though I don’t think anyone has been able to access it) and on Voot Select for Indian viewers, we can perhaps keep the series relevant and popular on such platforms by watching past episodes of it. Plus, I think the series will have at least a week’s worth of bank episodes, so we have another week’s worth of entertainment to look forward to. In any case, even more so than my thoughts about the show (though I really don’t want it to be cancelled or anything), I feel really distressed thinking about how bad the situation is in India right now. For any Indian viewers, if you know of any local initiatives that we can donate to or help, please let me know….a lot of the Indian diaspora here in the U.S. are donating to Seva International or gurudwaras in India, but if you know of any other initiatives, please let me know and perhaps I can contribute or spread the word about it!

Okay, now on a semi-happier note, today’s episode was very thrilling and emotional at the same time. Despite Sarah’s confidence that she had killed Vansh, he was saved by his lady love, RIddhima, as we had expected. Moreover, the way Riansh reunited with RIddhima kissing Vansh on the forehead and almost climbing on top of him, once he was okay, will go down in the archives of best Riansh moments! After this sweet scene, we saw Aryan make yet another attempt to flirt with Gayu (he must be really desperate if he’s pursuing “Riddhima’s friend” lol), but sadly his “charm” had no effect on our wicked assassin. That being said, once RIddhima made sure that her man was alright, she went to teach Sarah a lesson by suffocating her with a plastic bag….I didn’t mean to laugh at this scene (because I hate displays of torture and violence), but couldn’t help myself, as Sarah was totatlly not expecting that! The rest of the episode was dedicated to Vyom stealing Vansh’s diamonds from his deal (sorry did Johnson actually betray Vansh…then man, what was the point of killing yourself), but our Vansh stopped him at the last second and challenged him to a fight! Hmm, so tomorrow we’ll see a Vyom-Vansh confrontation…honestly, I really miss our KaVa confrontations, but I suppose this will do for now haha! Now onto the episode:
1. The RIddhima saves Vansh sequence: Aww our poor Vansh…As he was gasping for air and bleeding through his nose upon discovering that he had been locked in the sauna, Riddhima was wandering in search of him throughout the hotel. Sensing that RIddhima would be determined to find Vansh, Sarah told a staff member to tell her that Vansh had asked to meet him by the pool. At first, RIddhima felt a sense of relief thinking that she would meet Vansh there, but she quickly realized that he was in danger as he was nowhere in sight! Luckily upon calling Angre, she found out that Vansh had last said that he would be going to the sauna…and our girl immediately charged off in that direction! Thanks Angre for being helpful, but I still don’t completely trust you haha! As RIddhima was running in the direction of the sauna, my first thought (as always) was that, ‘ girl you’re pregnant and don’t harm Dottu in the process of saving Vansh,”…but there was no stopping her, she even ran past the key to the sauna, which had earlier fallen out of Sarah’s pocket. And again, when RIddhima was running around the sauna area and screaming for help, my main thought was, that “you have a phone in your hand…just call the reception desk or Angre for the key!” However, luckily, RIddhima quickly found the key on the wooden bridge and surmised that it was the one to open the door to the sauna. Needless to say, when she saw Vansh in his bloodied, tired, and unconscious state, she was shocked and an emotional wreck, pleading with him and shaking him to wake up! She then called Angre to come to help her and he set off (btw the scenery of the forest behind Angre was gorgeous lol)! She gently grabbed the sides of Vansh’s face and then planted a sweet kiss on his forehead, and like a reverse Snow White or Sleeping Beauty story, her prince charming woke up with a true love’s kiss haha! Once he was verbal, she climbed on his bare chest and planted her face on it with tears streaming down her face, which signaled that her whole world had returned to her….honestly, I found this scene or image of RIddhima laying on top of Vansh to be extremely intimate and I find it difficult to convey the depth of emotion that was reflected in it…though I found it funny that Vansh just was able to breathe again and RIddhima immediately jumped on him…girl, let the man get some air haha! In any case, I loved the way RIddhima helped Vansh sit up and then wiped the blood and sweat from his face with her own hands in a concerned and loving manner…it was just so realistic and reflected the true comfortability that married couples or lovers have with one another…typically in movies/tv series, they just show a character ripping off the end of their clothing to wipe things off of someone else, but here it was just so realistically shown….for RIddhima, Vansh’s well-being was most important! Although RIddhima should have told Vansh the truth about Sarah at this point, when he was confused about what happened to him, she did not….instead they both hugged and held each other tightly, while pressing their cheeks and rubbing their faces against one another with their eyes closed and rocking back and forth…nothing mattered at that moment except for the peace that they felt knowing that they had each other…they were truly one at that moment! Oh these moments are killing me…How can two people/actors/characters have such a beautiful connection? After the sauna fiasco, RIddhima helped Vansh clean up by making him sit down in the shower, while both of them smiled at each other (though Riddhima was trying to hide her apprehension about Sarah’s next attack on Vansh and reeling from what had just transpired)…I know this scene was meant to be sweet and touching, but I kind of found it funny how Vansh was sitting down in the show like a little kid with his legs crossed….either he should have stood up and maybe taken a shower with RIddhima (though that may have been too racy) or they should have done the scene in a bathtub with RIddhima pouring the water/shower head on him lol…sorry for being nitpicky again, but I just found the staging/visual of him seated in the shower to be a bit strange.
2. The Gayu/Ishani/and Aryan scene: On a somewhat lighter note, the episode progressed to Ishani and Sarah/Gayu playing catch/with a ball by the pool….umm since when did Ishani and Gayu become besties that now they are playing together…I thought Ishani was scared for her life when Gayu confronted her and I find it hard to believe that the former would even be mildly cordial to a “friend of RIddhima’s.” In any case, Aryan joined the girls for the little game, hoping that his charm would rub off on Gayu (the boy is seriously lonely), but sadly it was of no use…Gayu instead seemed irritated by Aryan’s advances and threw the ball at his face haha…but the boy didn’t back down…I have to admire his tenacity, he really is Vansh’s cousin lol! Gayu then made a not so silent exit from there, flashing some additional attitude to Aryan, and then left him to play with Ishani. The latter reminded Aryan that she too wasn’t single and left poor Aryan to play by himself (well he always has Dadi, right)….also, what is Ishani talking about that “she’s not single” and indicating that she’s going to hang out with her man….earlier in the scene, when she asked Angre to join them, he flashed a faint smile and walked away…see, even your own man doesn’t want to spend time with you haha!
3. The Riddhima-Gayu scene: This scene was also very amusing, though I don’t condone violence. As Sarah was wandering through the garden confused why there wasn’t much of a fuss about Vansh’s death in the hotel, RIddhima sneaked up behind her and tried to suffocate her with a plastic bag….where did all of your assassin training go, Sarah lol? After RIddhima threw Gayu to the ground and she began to gasp for air, the former reminded her to leave Vansh alone and go away. But Gayu did not come this far to back down now…she started to choke RIddhima (or at least grabbed her by the neck) (I was again scared for our Janab Dottu) and reiterated that she would kill Vansh, despite this first failed attempt at harming him! Let’s see what happens on that end, but at least we got to see another Gayu-RIddhima confrontation, which interestingly mirrors the Vyom-Vansh exchange that would later take place in the same garden area! In any case, I liked how in the beginning of the episode, RIddhima was so gentle, loving, and emotional with Vansh, and here she was so fierce and brave when she confronted Gayu….this is exactly what I wanted from RIddhima 2.0.
4. Vyom tries to steal Vansh’s diamonds/ruin his deal: Okay, so another diamond deal gone wrong…Vansh when will you learn your lesson! In any case, the basic plan, as Vyom had mentioned, was that Vansh’s associate, Augustine D’costa, was supposed to check into the hotel, leave two suitcases full of diamonds in his room, and then leave so that Angre could come in and collect the bags…seems like an easy plan, but Vyom (having learned about it from Johnson, was planning on swooping in and stealing the diamonds before Angre got there)….again, so Johnson killed himself for nothing…he betrayed Vansh and then killed himself…what was the point of that lol? Also, I still don’t understand why that Augustine D’costa couldn’t just directly give Vansh the suitcases in one of the hotel’s conference rooms, instead of crafting such an elaborate (though it was simple but unnecessary) plan, That being said, as planned, Vyom swooped in and quickly collected the bags, after which a confused Angre entered the room surprised to see that there were no suitcases there. Although I wasn’t particularly interested in the scene/diamond deal aspect, I started to become more invested in it, once Vyom started to walk away from the room with the diamonds. The second that Angre alerted Vansh of the theft, the pace of the scene started picking up, especially as Vansh saw on the CCTV footage that it was indeed Vyom who had stolen the suitcase and who flashed him a middle finger….boy, you should have not been so overconfident or revealed your face to Vansh! The latter quickly alerted the hotel receptionist to stall Vyom, until he arrived there…..Honestly, I started cracking up at the thought that Vyom would be stupid enough to check in under his real name in Vansh’s hotel and that he would actually take the pain of checking out/settling his bill…boy if you’re planning on stealing something, you could have just found another exit and ran away…now was the time that you decided to do the decent thing and pay your bill haha! However, to Vansh’s benefit, this gave him enough time to reach Vyom….also, kudos to the receptionist…she quietly alerted Vansh that Vyom was at the reception desk and then delayed the process of processing his transaction/printing his bill, much to Vyom’s extreme annoyance…honestly, I hate when people are rude to customer service people, but this lady maintained her composure and stalled Vyom till Vansh made his heroic entrance. While Vyom was tangled with his own mess down at reception, Vansh started racing down the stairs and jumped down the lobby steps to land right behind Vyom (nice jump Rrahul…it added to the thrill of the scene). Knowing that he could not escape Vansh, they both agreed to battle it out man-to-man in the garden. When they arrived in the garden, Vyom quickly pulled out a gun aiming it towards Vansh, while Sarah looked on with a satisfied gaze and also aimed a gun at Vansh (it’s really not his day). In any case, I’m sure nothing will happen to Vansh and although we won’t get to see a KaVa confrontation anytime soon, at least we have a Vyom-Vansh exchange coming up!
5. The precap: And boys think they are vicious haha….in the same garden, where Riddhima and Gayu were trying to suffocate and choke one another moments ago, the two male friends turned enemies are going to engage in a little fight lol (that is after Vansh disarmed Vyom). Sarah, for her part, aimed the gun at Vansh, but in the ensuing fight, the not so poor Vyom was shot in the leg, while Sarah stood back in shock,,,she had just saved the man whose life she was after haha…girl take this as a sign from God, you’re not supposed to do this! And Vansh also was shocked at who could have shot Vyom,,,he looked in Sarah’s direction, but something tells me that he won’t actually see her….in all likelihood, he’ll think it was RIddhima (he knows she held Kabir captive, so who knows what else she’s capable of) or if he does see Sarah, he’ll pursue the Sarah-RIddhima mystery even further…let’s hope it’s the latter case, as I’m also eager to know what went wrong between the two friends!
6. Final comments: Overall, today’s episode was quite pleasant, if it wasn’t for the news that our beloved show may stop shooting for an indefinite amount of time….though again, I believe that this is a necessary measure. As long as Voot doesn’t cancel our beloved series, I’ll be happy (though I shouldn’t be spreading any negativity and I doubt that will happen because I know how loyal and vocal our fandom is when it matters….ain’t like anyone fighting for Kundali or Kumkum Bhagya to stay on air lol)….let’s hope that if the situation ever arises, we use our energies for good and band together to save our little show, but again it’s best not to think of such things at the moment. Also, for the remaining episodes that have already been shot, it’s difficult to imagine what will happen next as I’m sure the makers changed the script in preparation for the eventuality of a stricter lockdown….but even if Vyom goes back to his lair for a while, like a wounded animal, I’m sure he’ll come back…the worst ones always do haha!
