Riya Bhattacharjee who was last seen in the popular tv show Ishq Mein Marjawan recently shared her new avatar for her new show Nath. Riya will be essaying the role of Kajri in the show which aired on 23rd August.
The actress recently shared a glimpse of her look for Kajri on her social media account. She wrote, “Miliye KAJRI se …. Aa rahe hum aapse milne ….

Talking about her role in a recent interview, she shared, “When I had auditioned for the role, I had no idea I would get selected, it was a tough role to bag, I wanted to play this role because it challenges me, as an actor. I am really excited to do the character of Kajri, this would be a short role with an impactful presence in the show.”
She further added, “I always wanted to try something bold like how Kareena did on screen in Chameli and Nath was the perfect opportunity for that. Kajri is a slave, a victim of the Nath Pratha, she was first sold off to a rich family at a young age but now, he is bored of her and decides to get another young replacement.”
She signs off saying, “I just hope that the audience like my character on screen and keep loving me as they have been doing for a long time.”
