Samika (Alisha)is at home and she is writing her notes. She gets a message.She excitedly looks at it. It’s from her friend Riya . She just reply. She seems to be disappointed. She then closes her book and thinks. She then calls Dev but he doesn’t pick her call. She try again but no response. She keep her phone on the table. She gets angry. She talks to herself- “ It’s, ok. Why am I getting angry because he is not answering my call? Maybe he is in a meeting or he maybe taking rest .After all we are just friends . But it is not right not to answer a friend’s call”. Samika’s mother call her down for dinner. She goes to have her dinner . She seems to be lost in her thoughts. Her father notices . Mr.Kashyap -“ Samika beta, are you ok? Beta ,is there any problem? Did anyone…” . Samika- “ No, Papa. Everything is fine. Iam perfectly ok”. Samika smiles.
After 2 days…
It’s afternoon time,Samika is coming back from her college with Riya .Riya is talking and Samika seems to be not interested.Riya-“ Samika, this not fair. Iam talking to you but you are in your dream world. What happened?” Samika-“ Nothing. You are thinking too much”. Riya – “ What a joke? Iam thinking too much. Great. Tell me where is Dev Babu? Don’t tell me you are upset because he is not here”. Samika-“ I don’t mind if he is here or not. Why would I be upset because of his absence? And even Iam not upset for him not attending my calls “. Riya widens her eyes and look at Samika is surprise. Riya -“ What? He is not attending your calls. Now I got your problem. You are upset because of that”. Samika-“ No! Iam not upset”. Riya-“ Really! I know that you won’t accept this even though you know that .Its true, that’s why you told me this in anger”. Samika feels awkward. Riya -“ Now Iam asking you seriously, Samika .Why are you getting too much affected by this small thing?” Samika-“ I considered him as my friend and he is ignoring me. It made little upset, that’s true.I am just curious to know the reason why he is doing so”. Riya -“Don’t worry “. They walk talking to each other.
At night, Samika is in her room.She is feeling restless. She talks to herself-“ Why Iam getting affected by Dev? After all he is just a friend”. She reminisces time spend with Dev. She smiles and coutinue herself -“ Is it because I … No ! Iam just overthinking.My stupid thoughts , credits to Riya and Bhaiya”. She goes to sleep.
Next day , she is going to class with Riya.Dev ( Arjun)comes from the side and surprises her. Dev-“ Hey ! Surprise”. Samika gets happy seeing him and smiles. But she gets angry and just pass by other side ignoring him. Riya gets shocked seeing her reaction. Riya goes behind her . Dev goes behind her. Dev-“ Samika…”. Samika doesn’t mind him . Dev go near Riya& ask her-“ What happened? Why is she behaving like this?” Riya – “It’s all because of you….” Samika interrupts-“ Decide now who is your friend is it he or me ?If Iam your friend then come with me right now”. Riya goes with her. Dev seems to be confused. Dev-“ Weird! But why is she upset with me?”. Later he enquirers about reason to Riya. He gets to know about it. He waits outside her campus . Samika is in her class and Riya ask her to look out . She looks out. She see Dev through the window. Dev holding his ears and saying sorry. She turn her face. He stand there for getting forgiveness. She looks out to check if he has gone or not .He is still waiting there and tell her ( in signs) that it’s too hot ourside.He say sorry. She is still upset and turn her face. After class , she comes out with Riya after class. She doesn’t look at him. Dev go behind her. Riya laughs seeing their cute fight.Dev-“ Samika, Iam Sorry. My phone got damaged. That’s the reason I couldn’t contact you. And worst part is my memory is weak. Please…” Samika doesn’t react . Dev starts to imitate her . She looks at her and gets angry. Samika-“ Ask him not to make me angry more…”. Dev-“ Tell your friend to forgive me and talk to me”. Samika-“ Tell him Iam not interested in his stupid talks “. Riya gets irritated. Dev -“ Tell me , how can someone ignore such a sweet person for a whole day. I haven’t eat anything till now”. Samika-“ Liar, Riya tell me having ice cream , sandwich means not having food for a whole day?” Riya gets angry by their talks and stops- “ If you both wish to fight , fight directly don’t drag me inside this”. Samika doesn’t talk and she turn her face. Dev -“ Sorry. Iam saying truth. My got damaged. I didn’t talk to you for 2 days ,so I came to meet soon after reached here”. Samika-“ Ok. Apology accepted”. Samika smiles. Dev -“ There is a good news , I got the deal”. Samika-“ Congratulations”. Dev -“ So I will give you a treat for this and as a compensation to my mistake “. Riya -“ Excuse me, now you both got together and Iam out”. Dev- “ Oho , even you are my friend. I must say that you are more understanding than Samika. How can I exclude you ?” . He take them to a cafe near and they three have some food. Then Samika gets a call .She gets worried. She gets up . Dev and Riya are clueless. Samika-“ I need to go. Papa is in trouble”. They leave together.
They reach outside the bank ( where Mr.Kashyap is working) . They see police taking Mr. Kashyap into Jeep.Samika see this and gets shocked. Mr.Kashyap feels bad when he see Samika. Samika goes near him . Samika-“ Papa, What happened? “. Mr.Kashyap-“ Beta, I swear I haven’t done anything wrong “. Police ask him to get in . Samika goes behind the running jeep. Dev hold her back . He gets shocked .
