Dev’s house.
Dev and Samika is in the living area . They are playing chess. Dev is sitting with a serious look while Samika is thinking about her next move. She finally makes a move then Dev does another move .
Samika looks confused. Dev smiles.
Dev – “ You will lose this time too … when will you learn “.
Samika – “ You Stop talking , let me concentrate “.
Samika does a move . Dev smiles victoriously. Samika makes move and Dev’s keeps hand over his head is despair.
Samika smiles.
Samika – “Check ! What will you do now ?“.
Dev – “ You did same thing that I used to do , right ? “.
Samika – “ The one who learns from mistakes become winner .. So I won and you lose . You were so confident today and you underestimated me”.
Shashikala Raichand is watching all this from entrance.
Shashikala Raichand- “ Overconfidence is not good my dear “.
Dev then gets up seeing her . Samika too gets up. Dev gets shocked. Samika is confused.
Dev – “ Nani ! “.

Dev runs towards her and hug her. Shashikala Raichand smiles happily. Samika stands there with a smile. Shashikala Raichand looks at Samika .

Samika giggles. Dev looks Shashikala Raichand and nods his head. Shashikala Raichand smiles. She pats on his shoulders .

Dev gets confused. Samika stays silent.

Dev blinks his eyes at Samika . Samika understands his sign.
Shashikala Raichand- “ What is your name , dear ?”.

Shashikala Raichand- “ Samika .. nice name . What are doing ? Job or studying?”

Dev – “ Nani, you came after a journey. Now , Go get fresh “.

Dev drops her to a room and comes back. Shashikala Raichand comes back after freshen up.
Then she get to see Samika and Dev talking to eachother . But she hides as she felt something fishy.

Samika – “ Why didn’t you tell her ?”
Dev – “ She believes that a girl should stay with her husband after marriage. She won’t understand about our secret marriage, and what we thought to do after your studies.. all that stuff “.

Shashikala Raichand hears it then she coughs and walks towards them normally as if she didn’t heard anything. Samika and Dev becomes silent.

Shashikala Raichand sits and have food . In between see looks Dev and Samika but they both gives her a fake smile.

Dev and Samika relaxes. Shashikala Raichand smiles. She washes her hands and comes back.

Samika and Dev nods automatically but then they realize that she addressed Samika as daughter in law. They gets shocked. Shashikala Raichand looks them sternly .
Dev talks to Shashikala Raichand in private . He tells everything to her , the story of his horoscope problem and which led to this secret marriage. Dev didn’t revealed their intentions to her. He tells her that Roma Raichand doesn’t know about this as she was against his wish . He tells her that Dilip Raichand didn’t agreed for this marriage . He tells her that Menaka Raichand helped him . He convince her . Since Dev is her favorite grandson , she gets convinced.
They comes back. Samika stands there in tension. Shashikala Raichand looks her seriously, Dev has bowed his head down. Shashikala Raichand walks towards Samika .
Shashikala Raichand- “ When you are married , you should maintain it well. I think you should now move to this house , and what is there in studying. You are now Raichand bahu (daughter-in-law) , you will have everything here “.
Dev – “ Samika , Iam Sorry “.

Dev is in Trisha’s room. He is trying to calm Trisha who is angry at him for ignoring her during the dance.

Mr.Chowdhary – “ Shashikala Raichand is a confusing character. Was she really involved in their planning?”
Sameeksha – “ As per my knowledge, she won’t get into such dirty games . She has some principles and good virtues. But still I am not much clear about whether she is supporting them after knowing the truth or is she innocent in this matter “.
Mrs.Chowdhary – “ My gut feeling is saying that she can be innocent.. what if she came Shimla which wasn’t a part of Raichand’s game “.
Sameeksha – “ I do feel so . She was genuine .. I remember that she wasn’t like others . In a way , I heard her talking to Dev about his old lover . Obviously that was about Trisha . I failed to hear her name . When I asked him about it he lied that he had a crush on a girl in school and they were best friends . Nani had a doubt on their friendship and she conceived it as love . Afterall Dev was really expert in lying “.
Mr.Chowdhary – “ Leave it . What about the arrangements for Ritu and Aryan’s eloping? All done ?”

Next day, Mehandi and Sangeet function.
Dhruv and Ritu is present. Raichands and Mehra’s are present . Mehandi function is going to begin. Ritu is looking at her phone eagerly . Sameeksha is also present at the venue with her parents. Mehandi designers starts to apply mehandi on Ritu’s hand. Sameeksha and Ritu exchange looks with each other. Just then Dev comes stands in between . Dev looks her with a smile.
Dev – “ Looking cool !”
Sameeksha – “ Really .., but you could have worn something different! It’s too formal . It’s your brother’s pre wedding function“.
Dev – “ Tomorrow, I will something traditional.. excuse me for today “.

Shashikala Raichand is smiling seeing them together. She see Trisha walking towards them. Shashikala Raichand stops her from going by holding her hand.
Trisha- “ Nani, is everything fine ?”

Trisha gives her fake smile and nods ‘Yes’. Shashikala Raichand smiles and adores Sameeksha and Dev.
Trisha (thinks) – “ This old lady won’t let me live with peace . Why she always comes between me and Dev? I hope she go away as soon as Dhruv Bhaiya’s wedding is done . She is now getting on my nerves “.
Aryan has arrived there in a disguise.
He is wearing a saree and he has put the Pallu over his head covering his face . He comes there with some lemon.
Ritu is sitting there silently and she is smiling to everyone to show a normal behavior. But she extremely tensed.
Mehandi designer – “ What would you like to have on your mehandi- First letter or name of your groom?”

Mehandi Designer continues with applying mehandi. Aryan keeps the lemon .
Aryan (changed voice)- “ Beti, your mehandi is too good “.
Ritu – “ Thank you “.
Aryan (to mehandi designer) – “ Beti , do put some lemon juice on the hand once it is dry . It will make it more dark “.
Mehandi designer nods ‘Yes’.

Aryan (changed voice) – “ You will feel tired after this “.

Aryan – “ Beti , Iam keeping this lemon on the side table “.
While keeping the lemon on the table , he drops a keychain. Ritu then realizes that the man is Aryan . Ritu becomes happy. She looks him as he gets up after leaning down to take his keychain. Aryan then signs her towards lemons . Ritu understands his sign and she blinks her eyes .
Aryan leaves . He see a room empty and he hides there.
She see a chit kept below a lemon. She takes it without getting noticed by anyone. She sits there for completing the mehandi and excuses herself from there by saying that she is going to washroom. She will be back within sometime.
When she reaches a lonely passage she opens the chit .
Chits reads – ‘Ritu , I will be waiting in the room allotted for you in this hall”.
Ritu goes to her room . She closes the door and looks for Aryan .
Ritu – “ Aryan .. “.
Aryan comes out from behind the curtain. Aryan hugs Ritu .
Ritu – “ I was worried for you . Is everything done ?”
Aryan – “ Yeah , Sameeksha’s aid had called me and confirmed everything . But I don’t have any idea about how she is going to get to out tomorrow?”
Ritu – “ She didn’t said anything to me . Over that this Mehandi drama “.
Aryan – “ Mehandi cone is from my side “.
Ritu – “ What ?”
Aryan – “ I had exchanged every mehandi cones , so that you could apply mehandi from your real groom. I did as you wanted“.
Ritu – “ You came for fulfilling my wish ? “.
Aryan – “ I know that you were upset to have Dhruv’s mehandi , How can I ignore your sadness?”.
Dhruv comes to see Ritu then he finds Menaka sitting there and getting mehandi on her hand. Dhruv gets surprised.

Dev gets a call and he excuses himself . Sameeksha looks for Ritu . But she doesn’t find her and get to know that she went to her room. Sameeksha walks towards Ritu’s room .
Dhruv gets shy by Daksh and Menaka Raichand ‘s talks .

While Daksh and Menaka Raichand teases him .

Aryan and Ritu hug each other.
Sameeksha reaches near Ritu’s room. Sameeksha slips on water spilled on the floor, while balancing herself she press the holder of the door. She loses her balance and suddenly door opens . Sameeksha somehow balance her before falling . But then she witness Ritu and Aryan together . They gets worried too. Sameeksha hears footsteps and she turn back . She gets to see Dhruv approaching towards the room.
Sameeksha – “ Dhruv “.
Aryan and Ritu gets nervous. Sameeksha suddenly closes the door to prevent Dhruv from seeing Aryan and Ritu together. Sameeksha locks it from inside and looks them sternly. Dhruv heard the sound and gets worried. He walks fast towards the room . He knocks on the door.
Dhruv- “ Ritu , are you okay ?”
Sameeksha opens the door . Dhruv gets surprised to see her inside.
Dhruv- “ Sameeksha ?”
Sameeksha – “ I was just passing through this passage, then Ritu asked me to help her to make her dress alright.. Poor Ritu she has mehandi on her hand . So I got in .. “.
Dhruv – “ Oho .. that’s sweet . If she need any help I will send Bua “.
Sameeksha – “ Its Okay , I can manage . What if that help us to have a sisterly bond ? “.
