Mahi, Om ,Rudra and Sahil were trying their best to calm down their tadibaaz hyperactive brother so that he as well as they could get ready in peace but the star of tonight’s evening was is no mood to relax…. he was terribly excited but at the same time he was nervous too. He kept fussing over his dress and was continuously fidgeting sometimes with his hairs and sometimes with his dress or accessories. Sahil was having a great time seeing Obros calming his jiju cum elder bro.
M-Shivaay mere bhai relax its just your engagement.
S- haan but this is my first time naa
O- Dumbell oberoi k bade bhaiyaa normal logo ki sagai aur shaadi ek hi baar hoti. So its always the first and last time.
R- Bhaiyaa relax stop freaking out.
S-how can I relax..God I forgot I have to check the decoration also I want it to be perfect just like Anika dreamed I will just check whether those flowers arrived or not

M-you are not stepping out of this room till the function begins.. you get that

M- Oh god billu stop behaving like a kid even sahil is more mature than you
Sa-Mahi bhaiya who said I am a kid… I may look small but I am definitely not a kid

Sa-My didi is very lucky to have shivaay bhaiyaa in her life.
Shivaay smiled at sahil and gave him a side hug.
S-I am much more lucky to have you two in my life.

S-woh I ordered Anika’s fav orchids for decorations so I wanted to check..
M-Ok fine I will go check it. You guys keep an eye on him for me.
Mahi goes to the hall to check whether the orchids arrived or not when his eyes fall on a beautiful bunch of white roses. He picked up those flowers and lovingly carressed them.. I miss you a lot I really love you and I am coming back very soon. I will make up for it. He kissed the roses.
He was shook off his reverie when his phone beeped.. shivaay’s text asking him if the flowers arrived.
Chuckling at his bro’s cute lover boy antics he assured him that everything was fine and placed the flowers he was holding back.
He went back to his tadibaaz bro’s room
M- your orchids have arrived now plz sit calmly ok
S- I will try.
The situation in girls room was similar to this.
Anika was so terribly excited that it was quite difficult for her to sit still while the girls readied her.
G- Oh god sit still how will I apply the liner if you keep jumping like this.
S- Haan di just relax while we turn you into a princess

Gauri applies her makeup while saumya works on her hairs and prinku helps her with her jewellery.
G- for the last time anika plz sit still I dont think you want to scare shivaay bhaiyaa coz if you keep moving and jumping like this you will look nothing less than a dayan.
After almost an hour or so finally the girls are all ready.
Pinki and jhanvi come

J-beautiful.. trust me shivaay ki toh nazare aaj tum par say hatne hi nahi wali.
Anika blushed and took blessings from pinki and jhanvi.
Pinki gifts her a diamond braclet. First gift for my bahu.
A-its so beautiful thanks maa. Anika hugs pinki. Jhanvi tells pinki that she is very lucky to have Anika as her DIL to which pinki agrees admiring her bahu with pride and affection.
The elder oberois go down to the hall to welcome the guests. Since shivika wanted engagement to be a low key affair only close family friends and business associates were invited. After sometime the boys also come down looking extremely handsome in traditional attire but shivaay was looking killer in the black sherwani he was wearing and moreover the peaceful glow of happiness as well as the million dollar smile on his face was enough for any girl to drool over him.
Shivaay smirked a bit as he saw the girls staring at him

Mahi felt heat rising up on his cheeks, Omru were confused while shivaay was silently smirking

Soon Siddharth-Mallika, Tia-dusyant also arrive. While Tia and Mallika go over to Anika’s room Sid-Dusyant stay with shivaay & Co.

Ranveer casually glances at the other side

Shivaay excuses himself and goes to a girl standing little bit apart from the crowd… He smiles happily and they share a cute hug while shivaay lovingly kiss her forehead. They casually chat for sometime and then shivaay leaves smirking to himself.
Shivaay gets busy in meeting his frnds and business associates. Om was having casual chat with Siddharth n Ranveer while Rudy-Mahi were busy flirting with girls…
After sometime finally the girls came.. shivaay felt his heart skipped a beat and then started thumping wildly as he saw his lady love his Anika… decked up in a beautiful peach and golden coloured lehnga with simple yet elegant jewellery… her face was glowing and that natural innocent blush which was matching the colour of her dress was making her look like a fairy straight from the heaven. Shivaay couldn’t remove his eyes from her as she gracefully ascended the staircase.
Mahi nudged shivaay lightly.. Mr SSO close your mouth and go bring her
Shivaay’s trance broke and he nodded, walked over to the staircase and forwarded his hand.
Anika placed her hand into his and they both smiled and like a true gentlemam kissed her hand.
S(whisper)- you are looking gorgeous Ani.. in your language kidkitod khoobsurat
A- and you are looking super duper handsome shiv.
S-really huh..
A-hmmm
R-bhaiyaa if your romance is over come we have to start the rituals.
Shivika blush and walk over to the hall hand in hand. Shivaay proudly introduces her to his frnds and associates while all guests compliment the couple.
Ranveer comes to congratulate Anika and compliments her they chat a bit then he excuses himself to meet priyanka. Shivaay takes Anika over to the same girl and introduces her. Anika happily hugs her and they both chat for sometime. Shivaay smiles seeing their instant bonding.
After sometime dadi calls Anika and Shivaay on stage the for the ring ceremony. The entire hall becomes quiet and all eyes are on shivika… after completing the rituals comes the time for exchanging the ring… The entire stage was decorated with Anika ‘s fav flowers.. if fact these decorations was personally supervised by Shivaay for his angel. Plus soft soothing music was being played in the backdrop.
Priyanka hands shivaay a velvet box that contains an elegant diamond ring… taking Anika’s hand he slides the ring onto her ring finger while the guests cheersed. Ranveer then hands Anika a similar box and she slides the ring on to shivaay’s finger. Everyone cheer while they are been showered upon with petals of flowers. They take blessings of elders while youngsters enthusiastically congratulates them
Finally they took another major step forward in their relationship.
