Gauri quickly turns him around and then he hears a loud WHOOSH! In front of him, blood dripping from Gauri’s head and her head off his hand and she was falling on the floor. THUD!!

He looks straight and there he can see Balram and his goons grinning.

Om’ eyes and faces turned red in anger. Gauri was on the floor, completely knocked out with blood running all over her face and a small pool accumulating around her.

Om, one by one, thrashes them. In five minutes, Om took out his goons and all around they were lying around in pain. Balram was lying on the floor. Om goes up to him and puts his foot on his chest.

Om runs to Gauri and she was unconscious. There was blood all over her. He takes off his shirt and uses it to stop the blood. Om lifted her immediately and put her in the back seat of the car. He sits in the driver seat and takes the car. He was driving really fast but his entire attention was on the rear window, where he can see Gauri lying on the back seat. He can see the seat soaking up the blood and knew that he had to drive faster.
O: Gauri, why did you come in the way? You should have just pushed me and we both would have been fine.
On the way, he hears bells ringing and there was a big Shiva temple. It had close to 400 steps and it was truly a magnificent site.
O: Gauri, look, there is a temple there. Shankerji wants you to get up and talk to you. GET UP!
There was no response.

The car stops in front of the hospital. Om quickly limps to the back door and takes Gauri in his hands.

A nurse in training comes out.

The doctor runs towards him with a stretcher and Om places Gauri on the stretcher. They take the stretcher to the ICU and a nurse comes out.
N: I need you to fill out this form. It gives us permission..
O: I know what it says. Give it to me and I will sign it.

Om remembers his marriage to her and how he married her when she was in distress and almost died.
