She sees her friends and goes up to greet them. She takes them to their table.
G: I work at their house as a servant. This is Rudra, Shivaye, Bhavya and Annika. You all know who he is, the famous Omkara Singh Oberoi.
The Oberoi family was confused when she called herself a servant but they still went with the flow and continued talking with her friends. All her friends were these but the loudest one out of them all was Ritik. They all enjoyed his company except for Omkara. He noticed how Ritik was following Gauri where she went and it drove him crazy
O (Thinking): Why is he tailing her where she goes? JUST GIVE HER SOME PERSONAL SPACE. His voice, he needs to be stop squealing. It is so loud and there is nothing attractive about him. He does not have the name or money that all girls love. He looks okay but he will never be equal to me.
All her friends leave and Om is still red from being frustrated with Ritik.
B: Are you feeling well? Why are you so red? Eat your ice cream so you can cool down.
R (Laughing): You cannot see it…
S: (Shivaye interrupts him): Just leave him alone (Only the two brothers knew the reason behind this. He was jealous of Ritik’s closeness to jealously. They have all experienced it before with their wives but they knew that Gauri is not that type of girl. She knows her limit and decided that the next part of their plan should be to fuel this jealousy into love. Rudra sends a message to Bhavya and Annika to continue talking about Ritik in front of Om.
B: Gauri, Ritik is a nice guy right?
A: He just loves to talk and in a way, he kinda reminds me of myself. We connect so well.
S: He also knows how to cook as well too. The way he was describing the preparation of Chicken Parmesan showed that he was a man with good taste.
G: Yh, he is a great friend and gentleman. Unlike Om, he knows how to treat people.
Om just decides to ignore everyone because he knew exactly what everyone was trying to do. Gauri was seeking revenge for insulting her at the ice cream counter and the others were trying to make him jealous. This is just now going to work.
All of sudden, it starts to rain hard. Everyone runs to get some cover.
O: Where is Gauri?
They all look around and cannot find her. They see her sitting at the table and eating her ice cream.
G: Thank you Shankarji. I love to eat ice cream when it is raining. She gets up and walks toward the other.
G: What are you doing in here? Come outside and enjoy the weather. Have you never ate ice cream in the rain before. It is such a good feeling. You feel like all your worries are washing away. Come and join me.
The boys refused especially Shivaye, who does not want to get sick from doing this. He already takes several medication to prevent illness and he knew that this will be an instant guarantee to a cold. Omkara just looked at her, wondering if she has completely lost it after the hearing. No one else was doing it and she looked like the odd one from the entire crowd. Annika and Bhavya wanted to do but their husbands would not let them.
O: Are you crazy? Get inside or you will get a cold.
G: If I was crazy, I would be at the mental hospital, not here. We won a bet and you guys have to do what the winning team says. Since I am part of the winning team, you guys have to do what I say. Come and have fun in this rain.
Shivaye, Annika, Rudra and Bhavya comes outside and Om refuses to come outside.
G: Your loss. Let’s go guys.
The entire family is having fun and eating ice cream. Then, Gauri starts to sing “Cham Cham Cham” and dances her heart out. All Om can see is a beautiful angel dressed in orange dancing in front of him. The sky is dark but the sun is out and shining only on her. As if she is in the spotlight. Her hair in a messy bun and that smile. It has the power to bring men down to their knees.
Om, without being aware of his surroundings, walks out in the rain and goes toward her. He dances around her in circles, adoring her. Gauri notices Om, and at first surprised but smiles at her, seeing him also eating ice cream and dancing.
She goes up to him and says, “Thank you, Om. Told you it will be fun.” It has been a long time since he laughed like this and she was glad to see a new side of Om.
O (Sticks his spoon out to Gauri): Here, try this ice cream. Do not show your anger to ice cream.
Gauri eats the ice cream and screams, “This is good. I want some more and runs to stall and orders more ice cream for everyone.”
G (Thinking): (Gauri was above the moon when he offered ice cream. Omkara danced with her without being forced by anyone.) What more can a wife as for?
G: Wife? I do not have the right to say that word. Why did I attempt to suicide? If I have not, Omkaraji might have become closer to me. But, the court gave 1.5 years, which is plenty of time to change his heart. Omkaraji, you will become the centre of my world.
Gauri does at least four trips of ice cream and even though Om only had 1, all three couples were having fun until the rain stopped. They were drenched and decided to go to their cars.
A and O: Achoo! Achoo!
S: Now you guys realize why I said no this. (Gauri looks at him with puppy eyes) But still, it was a lot of fun and worth getting sick. Both of you, come home and I will ask you to drink medicine
