T: Shut up, Svetlana. Gauri…
G: Please, Kesha.
T: Kesha, thank you for opening my eyes. Jhanvi, I do not care if you accept me or not, but I promise you from now on, you are the only person that I will consider as my equal partner. No other girl will come beside me and I promise on my mother.
O: Don’t you dare make a promise on Dadi? Are you trying to kill her?
T: Fine, then. On myself.
J: I do not forgive you but as a bahu of this house, you can live with your family. However, you will not talk to me and we will live as two separate individuals.
G(Thinking): Just like her son, Om. Maybe that is where she got the idea. Who knows? I do not care.
Dadi steps out of the car and everyone, seeing Dadi, runs to hug her. Dadi embraces everyone and then walks toward Gauri.
J: Where were you all this time? You said that you are going to different temples in India. What are you doing with Kesha?
D: I lied to you all. I could not take the sins this family did for this girl so I decided to live with her instead.
Gauri goes and hugs Dadi. Everyone looks at Gauri with mixed expressions. Guit… Sadness… Confusion.
O(Thinking): So, she came here for the family, but then why would she try to destroy my art exhibitions. Why do all this harm and act as a barrier. Is she fooling Dadi or is she really for the family?… for me.
S(Thinking): Good job, Gauri. You did something that I have been struggling to solve all these years. If she is trying to bring Om’s family together, then why would she go after the Oberoi Empire? She could have just gone after the house.
D: Jhanvi, you are also my daughter so I asked Gauri to solve this problem and just like she promised she did. Gauri, can you also do one more thing for me?
Gauri looks at Dadi.
G: Anything for you, Dadi.
D: Can you stay with me here?
Om and Gauri instantly look at Dadi.
G: How can I stay here? I have my own house and plus Om is here so how can I? It will be awkward for the both of us.
O: Gauri cannot stay here. She is not part of the family.
G(Thinking): Really, Om? Is this how you want to play? I come here to solve the biggest problem in your life that has been haunting since your teens and you just want to kick me out. Just because I leave the house, it does not mean I will make you cry what you did to me.
D: Om, I know that she is not part of this family. I would give that punishment to Gauri. She needs to have a happy life and not be tied by her past.
Om looks at Dadi in pain. (Thinking): Dadi, you think living with me is a punishment… Gauri, look at how she brainwashed my own grandmother against me.
D: Gauri, I do not care what other people say. But, this is your house and no one can tell you what to do, not even Om. So please come live with me for sometime? I just cannot live by myself here. Your smile brings a smile to my face.
G(Smiling): Dadi, if that is what you want, I can stay back for you. But, you already know what the conditions are.
O(Thinking): Flashback to the part where she said that she only smiles when she sees someone in pain. This is the first time I am seeing her old smile. The smile that bring the kid out of her. The smile that makes me smile.
G: Om will never show his face to me.
O: Why would I? I would rather die than come talk to you.
G: You do not need to die… You can just leave from the house if you want.
O: I will never leave the house… I will just stay here.
O(Thinking): What doe she mean by you do not need to die. Is it because she cares about me or she wants to slowly torture me to the point where I seek for forgiveness. But, that will never happen.
D(Thinking); Gauri, I know behind all this anger, there is still that soft flower that is dying for love. You will get that love through Om, just like you brought together this family.
