Om was going out for a jog. He started to like the morning breeze and it also became his artistic inspiration.
O(Thinking): Gauri was right, mornings are truly beautiful.
As he was jogging, he noticed a petite figure jogging as well as talking to someone on the phone.
O(Thinking): Gauri… When did she start to jog? It looks like she was mad at someone.
He runs up to her and matches her speed. Gauri notices him but ignore him completely. But, Om continues to run with her.
G(Thinking): Why is he here? I need to ignore him. Every single time I talk to him, I feel like I am losing a piece of myself to him. If this continues, I will go back to normal and he will take advantage of me and abuse me.
Gauri continues to talk on the phone.
G: I do not care what happens. Fire him. Such people who make stupid mistakes and do not own up to it does not deserve to work in my company.
O(Thinking): For a short girl, she has a bad temper.
G: Let it be professional or personal, I do not put up with these types of people.
Om knew that she was directing that to him, but he was distracted by Gauri. Beads of sweat were dripping down her and it shimmered in the sunlight.
O(Thinking): Man, she looks hot no matter what condition she is in. Did I just use the word, hot? Rudra’s language is rubbing off on me. She is cute… cute, that is a good word to use. Cute enough to pull her cheeks.
Om remembers the time when Om called Chulbul cute for the first time. Then Gauri ends the call and just stares at him.
G(Thinking): Just leave me alone, Om.
O: When did you start to jog?
G: It helps me relieve the stress caused by work.
O: Just like the kids at the orphanage.
G: They helped me through the hardest part of my life when I did not have anyone. (Her eyes teared up.) First of all, do not refer to them as the kids. All of them are my kids. I am their mother and they are MY kids.
Gauri realized that the supervisor told everything to Om so there was no point of lying to him. It would just make her look stupid in front of him.
Om had to ask the question that was burning him ever since he went to the orphanage and he decided to ask her now. After all, she did ask him to be direct.
O: Gauri, if you do not mind me asking, why did you go into depression? I was a drug addict and I know the emotional toll of being pushed into depression.
Gauri remembers the time when she would lock herself in a dark room, crying. Crying about all the stuff that happened to her. How Om wanted to propose to her. Eveything was finally getting back to her and then everything happens. How Om did not trust her… How the Oberoi family did not trust her… How Kali played with her life
G(Tearing up): I was heartbroken when I lost something that I really wanted in my life. I thought I got it but it was snatched away from me.
Om can see the tears in her eyes.
O: Gauri, do not cry. I am sorry for opening the old wounds.
G: Om, these wounds are still fresh. I just concealed them from the outside world so no one can see it.
O(Thinking): Just like how I concealed the girl’s accident from the entire family. I understand what she is trying to. (Says) Gauri, this is very dangerous. You should not conceal your emotions and share it with someone.
Gauri looks at him. (Says): But, with who? I do not have anyone that is willing to listen to me.
O(Thinking): Me, Gauri.. Share it with me… (Says) What about your mother?(Thinking) Why could not I ask her to share it with me?
G: She already suffered a lot. I cannot hurt her anymore. (Thinking): Gauri, what are you doing? Why are you sharing your problems with him? You do not need Omkaraji. I need to get away from him somehow.
