Gauri was in the living room, sitting down and was about to go upstairs when Shivaye and Annika come running out of kitchen. She turns on the TV and there was a couple kissing. Feeling awkward, she turns off the TV. Gauri starts thinking.
G(Thinking): Is Omkara single? Does he have a relationship with anyone? No one here talks about but he is not the expressive type like his brothers. No one came to visit him. How can I find out about him.
Jhanvi comes and sit beside her.
G(Thinking): Let’s ask Ma. She can answer my question but I cannot show my interest to her.
J: Gauri, I need to thank you for something.
G: There should not these formalities between a daughter and mother.
J(Smiling): This daughter solved the biggest problem in my life. Svetlana is gone from our lives and I have decided to give Tej another chance.
G: That is good. Your love has won. Love always win.
J: What about your love, Gauri?
G: My love lost long time ago.
J: Oh, I was not referring to Om. I do not want to bring back those bad times.(Thinking) So, Gauri, you assumed Om as soon as I said love. That means you still have feelings for him, (Says) I was talking about Ritik. How long have you been dating?
G(Thinking): Why is she asking about Ritik? What does he have to do with our conversation?
J(Thinking): Gauri, the love you had for my son is true and I know that true love never dies. I need to know the status of your relationship with Ritik.
G: Uh.. four years. We started working together establishing DOF and.. he proposed so I gave him a chance.
J(Thinking): Why is she hesitating and pausing? It sounds like she is uncomfortable with all this. Either, she is lying. Something is off.
G: So, Om, is he in a relationship with someone?
J: Not that I know. (Thinking) The only person in his heart is you and the same applies to you. You guys got to stop playing hide and seek. (Says) But, you never know. He does not share this stuff with me.
G: The reason why I asked is because I have moved on so it is only fair that he moves on as well.
J: You know, Gauri, you are right. It is time to find a new girl for him. Please let me know if you know any good girls that would be a good match for him.
Jhanvi gets up from the sofa and leaves.
G(Thinking): Ma, I know what you are trying to do. Om respects you and ever since, Tej’s little fiasco, he has gotten closer to you. I know that he will never make the same mistake and hide his relationships from you. You are just trying to stir my jealousy and that is not happening. But, I cannot show my cards to her. Wait a minute, why do I care? Om is my past and now all I need to care about is the future.
She hears Shivaye and Annika screaming and runs to the kitchen to see what is going on. Shivaye was cupping Annika’s face and crying.
S: Thank god, nothing happened to you.
A: Good thing that I noticed it before I put my hands in. Who would do this to us?
G: Bade Bhaiyya, what is wrong?
