A new morning in the Oberoi Mansion. All were doing their daily routine work when the door bell rang & came in Snajana with her Chacha & Chachi. They both greeted the Oberoi family. After few minutes the pandit also arrived to fix the date of the wedding.
Dadi :- so panditji what date found for the marriage?
Pandit :- mataji the auspicious date for marriage is 10 days after Diwali & for engagement day after tomorrow will be the auspicious one i.e. the Karwa Chauth day.
Mrs. Sharma (Sanju’s Chachi) :- day after tomorrow but how will we prepare for the engagement in such a short span of time?
Anika :- Mrs Sharma u don’t have to worry abt it, everything will be done after all we r a one big family we together will do all the arrangements.
Mrs Sharma :- but…
Gauri :- don’t worry Mrs Sharma we all r here na…
Bhavya :- yes I’ve even called the jeweler & designer so the rings & dresses will be finalized here only (to Priyanka) Prinku have u called them again?
Priyanka :- yes Bhabhi they’ll be here any minute…
The designer & the jeweler to arrived. Everybody was busy with buying some of the stuff. Then suddenly Ridzi’s phone beeped a message of Parth asking her to open up her laptop for a video chat. She quickly connect to Parth via Skype…
Ridzi :- hi! Bhaisa… what’s up?
Parth :- hey Chiku… how r u sweety? How’s Aani? I heard she is back with her family.
Ridzi :- I’m good. Yes u heard it right but…
Parth :- but Kuhu is still upset with her Dad, ryt?
Ridzi :- ryt. Aani is doing good wait I’ll make u talk to her (she then took her laptop to Anika who’s sitting with the jeweler)
Parth :- hi! Aani how r u? I’m missing u so much.
Anika :- I’m good, & I miss u too.
Vaibhav :- hey Parth. How u doing man?
Parth :- cool as always & Congratulations Dada finally u got ur girl.
Kunal :- yes Bhaisa, u know Vibhu Dada even proposed Bhabhisa…
Parth :- really? Wow that’s gr8 Dada. Finally u learnt to express ur feelings, after all whose brother in law u r (raises his collar)
Vaibhav :- ryt after all u r my “Love Guru”.
Sahil :- by the way Parth won’t u meet ur other in laws like ur father in law, uncles & aunties in law, grandfather & grandmother in laws.
Parth :- of course I would love to… C’mon Chiku make me meet them all…
Ridzi :- Aye Aye Sir….
Ridzi asked the Oberoi elders to have a seat & kept the laptop in front of them at some distance making everyone visible to Parth, Shivay was sitting in the middle with Dadi while OmRu & Ranveer on either sides, GaVya & Priyanka on the floor.
Parth :- Good Morning everyone.. (looking at Shivay & others he quickly recognized all)
Rudra :- how u know us all we never met…
Parth :- u r “The Oberois” who would not know u & especially u Mr Shivay Singh Oberoi, the biggest tycoon….
Shivay :- well thank u for the compliment so u r the one tha wife Anika chose for our daughter Gudiya to be her life partner.
Parth :- Correction, not Aani, ur daughter Nandini – Gudiya as u call her & my Kuhu as I call herchose me to be her life partner.
Shivay :- (saw in front Anika smiling along with Sahil, Gargi, Vaibhav, Sanju, Kunal, Ridzi & on sde Vikram & Anjali) whatever…. So who r u apart from being the heir apparent to the Thakur Group of Hotels, that I should allow my daughter to get married t u?
Parth :- well I’m Parth Vikram Singh Thakur, a singer & dancer by passion. I own a music label called “PaNi Records” plus an intern at Thakur Group of Hotels at Mumbai branch & a present I’m in London for Exchange Program at Oxford University.
Om :- PaNi Records…. The music company that holds 3 back to back years the title of Best Music Label, Best Composer, Best Playback Artist, Best Band… ryt?
Parth :- ryt Om Chachu. I’ve my own music band of which ur daughter Gudiya is the lead singer.
Rudra :- but why PaNi Records? It sounds so weird, no offence?
Parth :- I understand Rudy Chachu.
Ranveer :- but why PaNi?
Parth :- cuz it’s a shipname of Parth – Nandini Ranveer Uncle.
Shivay :- I want to ask u 2 questions. First, when will u marry Gudiya?
Parth :- see Mr. Oberoi we both r young we have so much t do so much to achieve ryt now & when ryt time comes we sure will get married.
Shivay :- ok
Parth :- ur second question Mr Oberoi?
Shivay :- so what if I don’t allow of this marriage of urs at that ryt time u r saying abt?
Parth (chuckles) :- then I’ll not marry Kuhu. We’ll get married only after our parents consent & if anyone of our parent I mean anyone is not in favor of this marriage then we’ll not get married with each other nor with anybody else (with a very serious expression). U see Mr. Oberoi me & ur daughter r in love with each other, how much even we don’t know. Its ur ryt Mr. Oberoi to decide for ur daughter with whom u want to get her married to but if I can’t marry her then nobody else will marry her, I’ll not let that happen ever…..
Shivay :- & u think u can stop me from doing that?
Parth :- I’ll not stop u but ur daughter will….. (listening to which Shivay gave a proud like smile to him) So Mr. Oberoi may I know what r ur opinion abt me?
Shivay :- it was pleasure meeting u Parth (looks at Anika) & I like my daughter’s choice.
Parth :- thank u Papa…(Shivay gives him a “what u called me” look) what? Now that u approve me I can call u Papa ryt?
Shivay :- yeah.
Ridzi :- ok now enough of ur talks eldies now let me talk to my brother…. (& took the laptop & sat on dining table opposite Nandini who was eating her ice cream) So Bhaisa have u got all the things of the list I gave u….
Parth :- yes sweetie. Now ask ur Jiji who is sitting in front of u to come over I want to see her.
Nandini :- Chiku tell ur Bhaisa that I’m don’t want him to see me.
Parth :- why? Kuhu it’s been six months that I didn’t saw u, I’m dying to see u yaar.
Nandini :- so?
Parth :- what do u mean by so?
Nandini :- u’ve waited for 6 months wait for few more days. U’ll see me only when u’ll come back. BTW when r u coming back? U remember what’s day after tomorrow?
Parth :- of course I remember. How cannot I remember it, huh?
Nandini :- so then wait till then. & it’s a saying na “the fruit of patience is sweet” so?
Parth :- fine….
