*A week later*
Anika had recovered fast because of our Shivaay…. No no her Shivaay….. While our other Oberoi bahus were still in their ‘Not going to listen to you mode’. Shivaay had encouraged his brothers while Anika was trying to make her devranis understand. All were stubborn. So Shivaay thoight this trip would surely help everyone and would mend every relationship.
*Two days before Anika’s birthday *
Shivaay and Arnav had arranged everything needed for the trip. Everyone in the family knew about it except Pinky. So it was quite good for all. Everything was set and the Oberoi youngsters were ready to go.
Dadi: Go slowly and have a safe journey.
Anika: Dadi don’t forget your medicines and haa don’t take stree at all. Rest properly.
Dadi: Tu chinta maat kar Anika putter. You all just enjoy your trip and I want my family to be happy again…..
Shivaay: Of course Dadi…. (hugging her sideways) This family will be smiling and laughing again. I promise……
Om: Not only you Shivaay….. (looking at the others) We all promise…..
Dadi blessed her grandchildren and they sat in their respective cars and set off.
Lonavala is a hill station in Maharashtra near Mumbai. It is extremely beautiful and very good place for spending a small vacation. Hills and love have a unique connection. So let’s see how this Lonavala trip bring changes in our couples.
After a 2 hours long journey they reached. The green fields, the waterfalls and the floating clouds just created the right ambiance for our couple to romance.
Anika took a deep breath and relaxed in the surroundings. She wanted to set herself free. She spread her hands widely and felt the clouds touching her skin. She shivered due to its coldness. But instantly two warm arms were wrapped around her from behind. She knew who it was. She just leaned onto him and sighed.
Shivaay: Did you like the place?
Anika: Hmm…. Just giving me peace.
Shivaay: Don’t worry. It will give you new memories and new feelings too.
She didn’t understand what he meant and just ignored for the time being as she wanted to free herself now completely. All her work was done and now she wanted to free herself. But she didn’t know that her sweet husband was thinking the opposite. He would never let her free. She was thinking of going away but he would never let that happen.
Shivaay(thinking while still hugging her) : What ever happens I have to take you out of this depression. I have to make you normal again. Even if it means to hurt you and make you cry. I have to do it. You can’t leave me and go…… Never
…. I love you Anika and I won’t let you go away from me.
He tighten his grip on her and sighed. Their sweet moment was broken by Om.
Om: Shivaay rooms have been booked. Let’s go in.
Shivaay: Challe?
Anika: Hmm….
They went in and the bellboy showed them the way towards their rooms. Everyone had got a honeymoon suite. They settled themselves in the room.
*Shivika’s hotel room*
It was a beautiful honeymoon suite with soft bed and decorated beautifully with roses. It had a balcony and from their view was just amazing.
Anika: It’s so nice and refreshing.
Shivaay: Hmm…. It is. I brought you here not on a vacation but….
Anika: But?
Shivaay: On our Honeymoon….
Anika(shocked): What!!!
Shivaay: Don’t be shocked. I know we have married for more than 10 months but I haven’t taken you out anywhere. Due to the problems in the house and other things I couldn’t give you time. So I thought of spending some time with you and also experience the period of honeymoon.
Anika: How did you change so much?
Shivaay(hugging her from behind) : When this princess named Anika came into my life and filled it with colours.
Anika: I am not a princess. I am just an ordinary girl having no name or linka….
Shivaay(cutting her in between) : And I said you that I don’t care about it. I don’t give a damn about it. You are Mrs. Anika Shivaay and that is enough for me. You have an identity as my wife. So never say that you don’t have a name. You have my name…. My life….. My love…… Isn’t it enough for you?
Anika: I am not thinking about myself Shivaay. I am thinking about you. When people will ask you about my parents, my family then what will you say? I can’t let your shame go down. I can’t…..
Shivaay: Who said you bring shame for me? Listen Anika whatever I am today is because of you. A. S. Enterprise is because of you. People in the business world knows me as Shivaay and not as SSO. This thinking you have created for me. And dare you say bad about my wife. She’s very nice and sweet. She’s the princess of my heart………
Anika(curious eyes) : Really?
Shivaay(tightening his grip and placing his chin on her shoulder) : Really……
They stayed in that position and enjoyed the view and each others company and warmth.
*While in the other side*
Our other Oberoi brothers were looking at their wives. They were distant from the world. They were staring nothing in particular while standing in the balcony.
*Rikara’s side*
Gauri was feeling cold due to the temperature. She was rubbing her hands over her arms to provide warmth. Suddenly a shawl was wrapped around her from behind.
Om: It’s cold you should have put on some warm clothes.
Gauri: I didn’t think it will be so cold here.
Om: You don’t know many things…..
Gauri(confused): Matlab?
Om: You only see or remember what all mistakes I had done. Can’t you understand what feelings I have now. Can’t you see in my eyes and interpret what I mean to say you?
Gauri: I don’t know what you are trying to say……
Om: You are understanding everything but the thing is you don’t want to see it.
Gauri(shouted): Yes I don’t want to see….. Because…..
Om: Because……
Gauri(tears flowing down her eyes) : I can’t tell you…… If you have the strength then find it out…..
She walked away from him leaving him in confusion.
Om(thinking): What is she talking about? I need to find it out soon…… But who can help me in it……. Bhabi…. Yaa bhabi might know about it. I will go and ask her.
*Mohi’s side*
Mahi brought two cups of coffee and passed one to Mona. She looked at it and then him.
Mahi: Take it. You will feel good and hot.
Mona(taking the cup) : Strength from when you started to know my feelings?
Mahi: I always understood your feelings….
Mona: Really?
Mahi: What do you mean to say?
Mona: Ask yourself you will get your answers.
She went away leaving him in thoughts.
Mahi(thinking): What does she mean to say? I need to find it out.
*Rumya’s side*
Here situation is different. Soumya got so enchanted in the nature that she went off for a walk. And our Rudy boy is unable to find her. He searched her everywhere and finally spotted her.
Rudra(running towards her) : Pagal ho gayi ho? Who goes away like this without informing?
Soumya: I’m not a kid that I need to inform someone and why are you so concerned about me?
Rudra: I got scared on not finding you. And I should be concerned about you because you are my wife.
Soumya: Wife? I mean seriously…. Did you really ever considered me as your wife?
Rudra: Of course I did.
Soumya(angry and with tears): You never did. But you are doing now because you want to. Remember those days Rudra when you never acknowledged me and on top of that you insulted me and what not you said me. You never acknowledged the marriage I was fine with it but you were insulting me for the reasons I never did I can’t bear it……
She walked away leaving him in guilt.
Rudra(thinking): I am sorry Soumya. I have hhurt you so much. I will surely ask for your forgiveness.
All the three brothers went towards Shivika’s room. They meet each other and asked.
Om: You all here?
Rudra: I can ask you the same question Om. You should be with Chulbul bhabi right now.
Om: I was but….. Aacha you here Mahi?
Mahi: Came to meet Anika for some reason. Are you all also here for that?
Rudra: Haa bhaiya ke romance me bhang me rang….
OmHi: Shut up Rudra. And it’s Rang me bhang….
Rudra: Chote se bacche ko kiyu dante ho. Aacha then why are you here to meet bhabi?
OmHi: To ask her about Gauri /Mona.
Rudra: Even me too about Sumo. Then let’s go.
They knocked the door and Shivaay opened it.
Shivaay: You all here? Any problem?
OmRuHi: We want to meet bhabi.
Shivaay: Kiyu kya ho gaya bhabi ke devaro ko?
OmRuHi: We are in trouble and need bhabi’s help.
Shivaay: Okay fine come in.
They entered almost pushing Shivaay away. They saw Anika setting the cloths in the cupboard. They pulled her and made her sit on the bed and they sat around her in circle.
Anika: Aare what happened why are you all pulling me?
Rudra: Bhabi you sit here.
Om: We need to discuss with you sometime.
Mahi: Very important.
Anika: That is?
OmRuHi: About your devranis.
Anika(sighed): Now what happened?
Rudra: Nothing happened that’s the problem.
Om: She is giving answers but not in straight way.
Mahi: And wants me to know her without even she telling anything.
Rudra: And we are sure….
Om: That she has said…..
Mahi: Everything to you….
OmRuHi: Now please tell us what all she said to you…..
Anika looked at them and then to Shivaay who by now was sitting in front of her on a chair and silently listening to them. Anika looked at him for help but he just shrugged his shoulders. She frowned. He indicated her to say everything to them. Taking a deep breath she stared narrating everything that her devranis had said to her. With each word that entered their ears it pierced their heart.
Anika: So these are the main reason why they aren’t allowing you all to come near them.
Om(shocked): You mean to say ki someone tried to manipulate Gauri against me. But who would do that and why?
Shivaay: Don’t worry I am trying to find that out. But currently your problem is to make her understand and belief in you.
Mahi: Mona has suffered so much and I am unable to comprehend that. I don’t know with what courage I will face her.
Anika: Just go and show your love to her. Just like she did it to you. The way she had supported you when there wasn’t anyone for you. You also show her your love and respect.
Rudra: Unknowingly I have hurt Sumo. Though it was completely my fault she never blamed me for it. I don’t know what to do. I wasn’t in a serious relationship before and now when I am, I am unknowingly making her suffer.
Anika: First you understand what you want and then approach her. I am sure she will understand you.
OmRuHi: Thank you bhabi. You are great.
Her devars hugged her and they left the couple.
Shivaay: Do you think this will work?
Anika: They needed a way and I showed them. Now only one more thing is remaining.
Shivaay: What??
Anika: A prep talk with my devranis. Then their lives back on track.
Shivaay: Hmm…. (thinking) Their lives will be back on track but ours? I need you back Anika and I will bring you back……
Anika(snapping her fingers in front of him) : Where are you lost?
Shivaay: Nothing actually thinking when will Arnav come??
Anika: I thought they were coming along with us.
Shivaay: They were supposed to but at the last minute some important work came up for him. He said he would inform me about it but….. (his phone pinged) Oh his message….. They are coming tomorrow.
Anika: They?
Shivaay: Arnav and his wife Khushi and daughter.
Anika(blank look) : They have a daughter?
Shivaay(sensing her changed behavior) : Anika… What will you have for dinner? Wait a minute lets dine together along with others? What do you say?
Anika(fake smile) : Sure. I will just change and come.
She went towards the washroom with her change clothes while Shivaay stood their thinking.
Shivaay(thinking): Kuch toh karna hi parega…..
He went out and informed others about it. He ordered the dinner while everyone including Anika arrived. Dinner was a happy event with Rudra’s weird jokes. Finally everyone retired to their rooms and called off for the day.
*Next Day *
*A day before Anika’s birthday *
Sunlight peeped through the curtains of every room and broke their sleep. Everyone was ready for side seeing. All of them gathered in the restaurant for breakfast. After having they left for some adventure.
(I have no knowledge about Lonavala. But I can say that it is a very beautiful place. So please spare me with the description)
High mountains with small small waterfalls was just mesmerizing. Green paches of field and steepy lanes were adding its beauty. The boys were helping their girls walk around the steepy region. Though this they were trying to show their concern for them. While our main couple Shivika were in a different world all together. Anika was trying to drown herself into the nature while Shivaay was thinking of a plan.
Anika: It is so beautiful here. So refreshing and so soothing. Thanks for bringing me here Shivaay…..
Shivaay: Again?
Anika: Heh….
Shivaay: You are thanking me again. (encaging her) How many times do I have to say that you are my wife and I want to do things for you. Start accepting this happiness Anika. You are worth of it.
Anika: Daar lagta hai….
Shivaay: Kish baat ka?
Anika: Happiness never stays with me. I am such an unlucky person that happiness comes like this(gesturing her hand while fisting it as if holding something) and goes away like this(showing her two hands by opening it widely). Daar lagta hai Shivaay.
Shivaay: Jab tak Shivaay zinda hai tumse tumhara khushi koi nehi chin sakta….
Anika(looking straight into his eyes) : Par chin gayi naa…. Meri sabse baadi khushi……
Shivaay could sense her longing and sadness. He couldn’t answer her back and just hugged her.
Shivaay: Baas aar thoda saa emotional drama then she will be fine……
Om was thinking how to talk to Gauri about the video clip.
Gauri: It’s so beautiful. I always wanted to go to a hill station. I just love this environment.
Om: But you never told me about it?
Gauri: Did you ever give the chance to tell you anything?
Om:(speechless)
Gauri: You always presumed the things. Haa I understand ki some situations were not favorable but you never listened me out.
Om: Gauri…. I….
Gauri: I don’t want to hear anything Omkaraji….
Om: But I want to tell you so much… Please listen to me.
Gauri: I don’t have the strength….
Om(holding her wrist in his hand in a tight hold) : Whatever you saw that day in the hospital was fake and I was going to ask forgiveness to you for my behavior but before that only you left.
Gauri(tears): Then you tell me what should I do? You never acknowledged me, Choti maaji always taunted me for my illiteracy and that Sultana was behind me. If at all you would have acknowledged me naa then I would have stayed back because I trusted you Omkaraji….. Yes I trust you unlike you who doesn’t to me……. I didn’t believe in that video because I had full trust on my husband.
Om was shocked hearing her. She trusted him and he didn’t even show one percent trust on her. He felt more guilty. She jerked her hand from hos hold and walked away.
Om(thinking): I will prove my love to you Gauri….
Mona was distinctly looking at the open end of the place and lost in her thoughts. Mahi observed it and thought of talking to her.
Mahi: Kya sooch rehi ho?
Mona(absent midedly) : How my life changed when you come…..
Mahi: Did it have a good effect or a bad one?
Mahi(smiling sarcastically) : It changed in a dramatic way….
Mahi: Are you moking me?
Mona(sarcastic laugh) : OMG who am I to mock you. After all you are the great Mahendra Singh Oberoi and I am gold digger who is behind your fame right?
Mahi: Mona it’s not like that. I didn’t mean to….
Mona: You know Mahi in drunk state and anger People say the truth and on that day you had said your feelings and point of view for me. You thought I am behind your fame and expressed my feelings after knowing your actual identity. But let me tell you Mahi I was loving you from before only.
Mahi: What do you mean by ‘was loving’ ? You don’t love me now?
Mona: That is the problem with this heart(pointing it towards her left chest) It beats for you only. It still shouts your name. But it doesn’t know that it wouldn’t be reciprocated back.
Mona left him and Mahi was drowned in guilt.
Mahi(thinking): She is hurt a lot. I need to do something very special for her.
Soumya was admiring the nature and was least interested in Rudra.
Rudra: You will seriously not talk to me?
Soumya: Are you asking me?
Rudra: Who else can you see here other that us?
Soumya: No I thought you were talking to one of your girlfriends after all you are the heart throb among the females right.
Rudra(angry): I have left that long back. Why don’t you understand?
Soumya(angry): Did you understand?
Rudra: Matlab?
Soumya: Did you understand when you were insulting me? Did you think before pointing finger at me? No Rudra…… No…. You never did. You just said what you left like. You never understood me. Never. You never understood how much I love you…… You never understood and I guess you would never understand…..
Soumya walked away and Rudra for the first time felt that someone squeezed his heart.
Rudra(thinking): Soumya loves me and what did I do…. I just insulted her….. No I have to do something……
All the brothers were making their own plans. Meanwhile they returned back to their hotel where they say Arnav and Khushi had just arrived.
Shivaay: Arnav….. Welcome…..
Arnav: Hay Shivaay…..
They hugged each other. And Arnav greeted with others.
Arnav: Hello Mrs. Anika…. How are you?
Anika(slight smile) : I am fine Mr. Arnav. Pleasure to see you here.
Arnav: Oh I have completely forgotten meet my wife…. My life…. Khushi….
Khushi: Hay Anika….. Nice meeting you…. I have heard a lot about you….
Anika(confused): Me?
Khushi: Aare from Arnav which he was heard from your dear hubby. I must say you are so sweet.
Arshi: Aare I also want to meet. Introduce me too…..
Arnav(bringing her in front) : Sure princess….. So she is…..
Arshi(cutting him off) : I am Arshi Arnav Singh Raizada and I study in 7th grade.
Anika(emotionally looking at her) : You are so sweet.
Arshi: You are also sweet….. I like you already…..
She kissed Anika’s cheek making her smile. Shivaay observed this.
Shivaay: Arnav let’s go in. You all freshen up and then we will have lunch together.
Arnav: Sure. Let’s go Khushi…. Arshi….
Arshi: Coming dad…. (to Anika) I want to be your friend. So friends?
Anika: Sure…..
They shook hands with each other and Arshi ran towards her father after giving a widd smile to Anika. Anika kept on looking at the direction she went. Shivaay brought her out of her thoughts and guided her towards the restaurant for lunch.
*Same day evening *
The hotel garden was decorated beautifully as there was some kind of celebration that day. Our heroines were getting ready for the celebration while our heros were already ready and waiting for their lady loves. Shivaay was thinking something deeply and failed to notice Anika coming towards him. He saw her and his breath got hitched. She was looking breath taking in her golden sari with green blouse with a magtika and shawl wrapped around her shoulder. He couldn’t take his eyes from her. He went towards her and her hand softly.
Shivaay(whispering): Beautiful….
She just smiled at him and he led her towards the garden for the celebration. Like Anika our other heroines were also decked up in beautiful saris- Mona was wearing a white sari with light pink work on it, Gauri was wearing a silver sari with black border on it and Soumya was wearing a light blue sari with red works on it. Our heros OmRuHi were mesmerized seeing their ladies. They escorted them towards the garden area. Shivaay had already booked a table for them. He made Anika sit on chair and he himself stood behind her.
Anika(pulling his hand): I want to talk with GauNaYa alone without the boys. Please….
Shivaay: Okay I am doing. (he saw them coming) OmRuHi come with me. I need to discuss something with you all.
He pulled his brothers away and indicated Anika to continue with her work. She looked towards her devranis gestured them to sit.
Anika: So I guess your problems haven’t been solved yet.
All were silent and didn’t know what to say.
Anika(sighing): Now what can I do for you all. I had made you understand what you should do but still you are not doing it. Do you all really want to give them a chance? (they looked at her and nodded) Then what is stopping you from seeing their feelings?
GauNaYa : Fear….
Anika: Okay so let me tell you all a secret. Do you know what do these Oberoi brothers lack in their life? (they nodded no) Love….. Yes they lack love in their life. I am not telling that their parents or family doesn’t love them. It is that they have been in a constant battle with their lives, constant check on their every move and more over they have seen their parent’s failure marriage. For OmRu their mother’s pain and their father’s betreal has effected them a lot especially Om. So he will have some trust issues and for Rudra he is constantly under his brothers shade so he needs time to adjust to the new things and new relationships. Coming to Mahi, he hasn’t experienced what love is. Kamini never loved him as he wasn’t her son and then people around would taunt him for being illegitimate. So it is quite obvious for him to grasp this new feelings which he wasn’t received in his life. I just want to say you all one thing….. Have patience, make them understand amd most importantly give them love…… They highly need it in their life……
The girls heard her sincerely and thought what to do. Her speech was not only heard the girls but by the boys too heard it. Shivaay was proud of Anika. She had observed everyone keenly and had perfectly made them understand. She is the perfect Bhabi for them.
Om: Bhabi has observed us so well.
Rudra: Haa Om. Bhabi aakhir rup ka maa hoti hai….
Mahi: Maa ka rup…. Dumbell Singh Oberoi…..
Rudra: Whatever it is the feelings are same naa.
ShivOmHi: Shut up Rudra…..
Mahi: But seriously Bhabi is truly amazing…..
Shivaay: I know she’s unique…..
”I never thought my sister would become so responsible…..”. They turned and saw Arnav and Khushi standing.
Shivaay: You don’t know many things about her.
Arnav: Maybe….. But seeing her being such responsible Elder bahu and you alls Bhabi…. I am so happy…. I thought she will always remain under my shadow and I will always protect her. But destiny took her away from me and made her face the harsh realities of the life and made her this…..
He had tears while saying this and Khushi was consouling him.
Khushi: Don’t cry Arnav. See how much happy she is now. Maybe she has faced many difficulties but she never broke down and gave up on it. She is your sister and she is a fighter. After so many years you got her back. Now stop shedding tears and be happy. Wait for tomorrow when she will come to know about you. I am sure she would be very happy.
Arnav: I hope so…. Shivaay did you talk with Anika regarding her family? What did she say?
Shivaay(sighing while looking at her) : Nothing. She said nothing. She has completely forgotten her family and for her only My family is hers. She was rather getting angry hearing about it. Don’t worry I will handle her. Now let’s go and enjoy.
The boys came out along with Arnav Khushi and Arshi.
Arshi(shouted seeing Anika) : Friend….. You are looking gorgeous….
Anika(kissing her cheek) : Thank you. Even you are looking stunning.
Khushi: Arshi beta go and play. Haa don’t go far away.
Arshi: Okay mumma……
Anika kept looking at her and the word ‘Mumma’ kept on echoing in her ears.
Host: Good evening ladies and gentlemen. We warmly welcome you all to our hotel’s 10 anniversary. (everyone claps) Our hotel has organized free dinner a dance floor for all our couples present here. So please you all are requested to join the floor and be a part of our celebration.
Everyone clapped for him and one by one every couple was joined the dance floor. Arnav dragged Khushi away while others asked their ladies for a dance except Shivaay. Everyone went while our Shivika was left alone. Shivaay got a call and he went a bit far away from the garden to receive it leaving Anika alone. Anika kept on glancing around and her eyes caught something rather someone………..
