He was getting ready to go to office. He was really handsome, well built body, a nice hairstyle, chocolate brown eyes in which any girl would love to drown in, cute jawline and trim facial hair, he had a great dressing sense, but something was missing. Smile. That’s what his handsome face lacked for. Something was there that was disturbing him. The new girl who came in his office the previous day, he didn’t knew why he was attracted towards her so much. She was very beautiful, bright red lips, beautiful eyes, long hair and cute smile.
Raman Bhalla, the helpful guy, attracted towards girls, but not every girl, in fact he hadn’t fallen for any girl till now. He was a business tycoon. He worked under his father. He was a very loving and kind man, a sincere friend, a person who lived a humble life, no pride. As he looked at himself in the mirror, he recalled the previous day. He was working on his desk when he heard footsteps of heels that were really slow. Somehow it distracted him. He turned his head to look in the direction. There came a girl with her eyes down, her long hair in front of his shoulder.

She was wearing kurti and leggings. She had a stick in her hand. Raman stood up from his seat and his feet moved towards her automatically. He watched as she walked forward and kept on walking towards him, Raman too walked towards her with baby steps and he was lost in her beauty. He didn’t realize there was no more gap between them and she collided with him and he held her before she fell. Her eyes still remained somewhere else. She straightened herself and gulped her saliva. ‘I am sorry, actually I can’t see.’
‘Relax, no problem, can I help you?’, he asked and she nodded. She forwarded her hand as if asking him to hold her hand and he held her hand, they were too soft and beautiful. ‘May I know where you want to go?’, he asked while making her walk in the correct direction. ‘I want to go in the cabin of boss,’ she replied. He started taking her there. ‘By the way what’s your name?’, she asked. ‘Raman Bhalla, you can call me whatever you want in short if you want,’ he replied and she smiled. ‘And you are?’, I asked.

‘Ishita Iyer,’ she replied. ‘You can also call me whatever you want in short if you want,’ she continued and smiled. ‘OK,’ he replied with a smile and they reached the boss’s cabin. He took her inside. ‘Dad, here’s a new girl, she can’t see, so if any help is needed, you can tell me,’ he said and went. ‘Raman, putar come down for pooja,’ his mother called out and he rushed downstairs. He kept thinking about her during the pooja and a smile was always plastered on his lips. His mother distributed prasad, she gave one to an elderly woman, Anita Bhalla.
Then she gave one to his husband and the last one to Raman. ‘Arey Maa, you also take,’ he said and made her eat half of his prasad. He kissed his forehead and smiled at her. Soon his dad and he was ready to go to office. As they were on their way, Raman saw Ishita walking in the middle of the road. He stopped the car and ran to her. ‘Ishita ji,’ he called and she turned. ‘You’re in the middle of the road, you will get hurt, you shouldn’t risk your life, come with me,’ he said and held her hand.
She came with him willingly, something in her allowed her to trust him, he was the first ever man whom she trusted. She felt a rakhshak in him. He made her sit on the backseat. ‘Thanks for helping,’ Ishita said. ‘Welcome, so did you got the job?’, he asked while driving. ‘Yes, luckily I did, luckily I got a friend as well, a friend in you,’ she replied with her usually pretty smile. Raman smiled. ‘Raman putar, you are friends with her already?’, asked his dad. ‘Yes dad,’ he replied. ‘By looking at you both, I can tell that God has made you both for each other only.’
Ishita blushed so did Raman. He drove all the way to office and his dad made his way inside the office while Raman helped Ishita. ‘So friends?’, he asked. ‘Yeah sure,’ she replied. ‘Who do you live with?’, he asked. ‘Mom and dad,’ she replied. ‘How many siblings you have?’, he asked. ‘One little sister, that’s it,’ she said smilingly. ‘Don’t mind but your parents should help you reach office, you would’ve ended up in an accident,’ he told her. Her smile vanished hearing this and now her face had a mature look.
She didn’t say anything till they reached inside. ‘My parents are way too busy to do that, but thanks to you that you helped me,’ she smiled. ‘Its ok, no thanks and sorry in friendship, will you mind if I ask how will you work here? I mean all the work is of computer, and you can’t see,’ he said in a fear that she might feel bad. ‘Actually, I can type very well, my caretaker told me how to type, she told me about each and every key, so I can do this much that I will submit all the work, no editing.’
‘Wow great, salute to you that you have so much hope that you can do it, but remember I am always there for your help,’ he said and she smiled. He guided her to her desk and continued working glancing at her every now and then. She stood up and was going somewhere but collided with the ward boy, the tea and the coffee fell on the floor. Everyone stood up seeing this. ‘Can’t you watch where you go?’, he asked. ‘Jee sorry I can’t see,’ she replied hesitantly. ‘If you are blind then this is not the place for you, go be at your home,’ he replied rudely and Raman came and stood before her glared at him.
