Hey guys, long time no see, I got late, m sorry
Ishita’s POV:
I opened my laptop and went on Facebook and searched for Mihika Iyer, my little sister. When I found her, I immediately sent her a message that said, “Hi Mihika, how are you? Long time no see, I hope you’re not cross at me for not being in contact with you, I miss you all a lot, just wanted to inform you that Subbu and I got divorced long ago and now I have shifted to London with my daughter Natasha as here a woman has full right to live a divorced life with their child with no taunts, if u can then please inform everyone and if u can then please come here.”
I sent the message and slept. Next day was Christmas party at my house and so I made Natasha ready in a beautiful red frock and then I got ready wearing a red saree and did my makeover. I hope Raman will come here with Ruhi or maybe with whole family. I decorated the house along with Natasha and arranged a Christmas tree with gifts inside and a Christmas cake as well. My heart is saying something good is going to happen for sure.
‘Natasha, this party is for that little fairy about who I told you last night,’ I told her. ‘Will she appear just like that or will she come by door? And will she vanish just like that or go by door?’ she asked me and I laughed. ‘She will come and go by door only, she’s coming with her family,’ I told her. ‘How many fairies are there in her family? Does she lives in sky or in house?’ she asked and I laughed the second time. ‘Aww my baby girl is so cute, ha ha,’ I said to her.
Raman’s POV:
We decided that not only I and Ruhi should go but everyone should go there and so everyone got ready and sat in different cars and left from our house. We reached her address and saw that her house was decorated from outside as well. We got down the cars and saw the name plate which read Ishita Iyer and rung the bell. A maid opened the door and welcomed us inside. I saw her coming out of her room with her daughter smiling at us. Ruhi went and greeted her and her daughter. They greeted her back.
She shook hands with her daughter, her name was Natasha. Mummy too greeted her and Papa too did the same. Everyone greeted her and the children gathered together playing with each other. She was talking with everyone and I was looking at how beautiful she is, it was as if I am dreaming, is she reality or a dream? Human or a fairy? I kept looking at how she smiled, how she talked very nicely, why didn’t she come before I married Shagun? Atleast Ruhi wouldn’t have been without motherly love and I also wouldn’t have been without a wife.

O…
Na wo akhiyan ruhani kahin
Na wo chehra noorani kahin
Kahin dil wali baatein bhi na
Na wo sajri jawani kahin
Jag ghoomeya thaare jaisa na koi (x2)
Na toh hansna rumaani kahin
Na toh khushboo suhani kahin
Na woh rangli adayein dekhin
Na woh pyari si nadani kahin
Jaisi tu hai waisi rehna
Jag ghumeya thaare jaisa na koi (x4))
My thoughts were interrupted by the doorbell and Ishita went to answer the door and her happiness was out of boundaries. ‘Amma, appa, Mihika, akka, jeeju, Shravan, you all came? Thanks for understanding me,’ she said and called them inside.
‘You called us and needed us so we had to come, if you would’ve called us before only, we would’ve come Ishu, but why didn’t you inform us?’ her mother asked. ‘I didn’t wanted to trouble you all, because of me, you all would’ve been taunted and my child too, I couldn’t tolerate this. That’s why,’ she replied. ‘Its OK, where’s my grand daughter? And who are they?’ she asked. ‘Its a long story, in short, there’s is a student of mine, Ruhi and she’s attached to me, they’re her family members amma,’ she replied her.
‘Namaste aunty,’ I said and touched her feet. ‘Jeetey raho beta, Ishu, make me meet my grand daughter,’ she said and went with Ishita. ‘Putar, how is she?’ asked mummy. ‘Who?’ I asked. ‘Ishita, don’t you think she’s an angel? I don’t think there can be someone better than her for you and Ruhi? Should I talk to her?’ she asked teasing me and I blushed. ‘What are you saying Maa? Kuchh bhi, I will go and see Ruhi,’ I said and heard her and Simmi laughing. ‘Ruhi or Ishita?’ Simmi teased and I went leaving them in a laughter.
Ruhi’s POV:
We all were playing when an old lady came in the room and went to Natasha and caressed her face. She had tears rolling down her cheeks. Natasha wiped her tears and nodded in negative. The old lady hugged her. Miss Ishita too came there and smiled seeing them, she too had tears. I went to her and hugged her by her waist, she hugged me back. I too got tears recalling my mother, I broke the hug seeing papa and went towards him. ‘What happened? Why are you crying?’ he asked. I nodded in negative and wiped my tears.
‘Kids, let’s cut the cake, OK? Then you all can pick your favourite gift from under the Christmas tree,’ she said and everyone followed her along with Ruhi. I too went outside. ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas with a happy new year,’ the kids sung and Ishita smiled at them and fed them cake and the others as well, then she came to me with the cake with slow steps and I looked here and there. She stopped in front of me.
