Please don’t argue,’ he said taking her and she jerked him away. ‘I said na I don’t want to go! Truth is you don’t love me. You don’t have time for me. I am just a burden on you, right? I am a burden on you, a burden..,’ she passed out.


He held her arms rushing her to the bed as she passed out. She held his hand and slept. He went to balcony. ‘Oh God, why do I feel as if I m doing wrong? Why do I see her face in Shivani’s face? Why does it feel as if I love her and not Shivani? Why? Why did you made them look alikes? Why did you even make look alikes in this world? And why did you give us humans a heart? If you gave heart, why did you give emotions? And if there are emotions, why you made me heartless?’
‘First you made me meet Shivani then her look alike? If you would’ve made me meet any one from both, I would’ve never done this. Why didn’t you made this moon of glass so that I could…uh, never mind,’ he said and went back to sleep but couldn’t sleep properly as his mind and heart kept saying different things. They never kept quiet. He had a heavy heart.
Meanwhile in a prison, she was sitting crying on her fate. ‘Aiyappa, why did this happen to me? Why? They blamed me of being a murderer but I never even killed a mosquito or even an ant in my whole life, then why am I proved guilty? They did this to an innocent girl and you’re just looking down at me? You’re not doing anything? You’re making good win over bad? Are you even listening? I mean do you even exist? She slept crying to herself. Next morning she woke up looking at her surroundings. She knew nothing good will happen now but still there was hope in her heart. ‘Someone came to meet you,’ jailor told her and she rushed running outside. She saw Harshad who was smiling at her. ‘Nandu, baby, I have no pity on you as you too sent me here because of attacking Manik, right? Now Karma sent you here, not even Navya came, right? Huh. Best friends forever, lol,’ he said to her.
‘Don’t say riddles, tell me clearly, what’s the problem?’ she asked. ‘Your best friend is in heaven right now. She died,’ he said. ‘No this can’t be! This shouldn’t have happened. This isn’t possible, you’re joking right? You’re saying this to annoy me right? I thought that you’re my friend, but no, you also don’t understand me, you think this is the time to joke? Instead of trying to help me, you came here to make me feel worse? Like seriously Harshad? Why am I even speaking to you, I should leave from here right now immediately,’ she shouted and was going away but stopped.

‘Stop Nandini, just follow me OK?’ he said and went followed by her. They walked to his car and he opened her dickey, what she saw made her blood boil. ‘Navya? Navya! Wake up! Navya please!’ she shouted. ‘Shhh, quiet, just hear me out, her heartbeat is temporarily stopped by injection, Malhotras thought I m on their side but m on your side so they asked me to kill Navya but I injected her and faked her death, now they said to go outside for sometime burning her body, but I will go and protect Navya from them, in case if your case reopens then we will be the eye witness,’ he said. ‘Really? Thanks and sorry for misunderstanding you,’ she said hugging him. ‘Now go inside else they will doubt you,’ he said and she went as he drove away.
