Today the rumor mills are abuzz that Colors’ popular show Gathbandhan featuring debutantes Shruti Sharma and Abrar Qazi in the lead roles is about to go off air. The show had a good start as it was serving a unique love story between a lady cop Dhanak and a street smart guy Raghu. To revive the interest the makers even roped in actor Kinshuk Mahajan to play parallel lead in the show.
The chemistry of the leads was interesting and kept the audiences hooked on for a while. But now the show has been witnessing a constant drop in the TRPs and owing to the same the makers have decided to pull the plug on the show.
Reports suggest that the channel wants to make a way for Shashi Sumeet Productions’ upcoming show Aarambh starring Mahima Makwana as the lead and that’s why they have decided to pull the plug on Gathbandhan.
Some reports also say that by mid November, Gathbandhan will air it’s last episode and will bid adieu to TV. Well, we are a little skeptical if the show should be taken off air or not. What about you?
