Charu notices a painting depicting a girl with vermilion. Meanwhile, all the witches gather before Kamini’s statue, informing her about a girl born under the same nakshatra who is still alive and now married to Vihaan. Unbeknownst to them, Gauri and Vihaan each possess one shoe from their childhood, yet neither is aware of its significance. Gauri sees Charu drawing on the wall without realizing what she is doing and instructs her to go to sleep.
A witch sneaks into Gauri’s room but leaves as soon as Gauri enters. The witch soon discovers that Gauri is Biswa, the sworn enemy of witches. Maa Ji advises Veena to explain to Vihaan the importance of respecting vermilion. However, Veena argues that it is Gauri who has insulted it and questions why she isn’t at home. Veena, unable to respond, eventually breaks down and confesses that she orchestrated everything to protect Vihaan and convince him to marry. She pleads with Maa Ji not to reveal the truth to Vihaan. Maa Ji agrees but insists that Veena must accept Gauri and right her wrongs. Suddenly, Veena experiences intense head cramps as the nakshatra begins to glow on her body. Alarmed, Maa Ji calls Vihaan, Harsh, and Arjun. Harsh urges Vihaan to take action to stop the glow, and Maa Ji declares that the only solution is for Vihaan to marry Gauri properly.
Vihaan consoles Veena and asks her to remain calm. However, Veena insists that Vihaan should stay instead of bringing Gauri into their home. Harsh reminds Vihaan that Gauri’s consent is essential, and Vihaan assures Maa Ji that he will bring her back. Harsh and Arjun suggest that Vihaan apologize and formally propose marriage to Gauri, but Vihaan insists he knows how to handle the situation himself.
Meanwhile, Gauri packs Charu’s bag for her first day, but Charu confronts her, questioning why she is acting normal despite knowing she is married to Vihaan. Later, Gauri books a cab for a passenger, only to realize the destination belongs to Vihaan. When Vihaan gets into the car, Gauri orders him to leave, but he threatens to report her, which could cost her job. Reluctantly, Gauri starts the ride. Vihaan attempts to talk, but Gauri refuses to engage. He then points out that the vermilion is still in her hairline and removes his bracelet to turn off the music.
As Gauri drives, Vihaan reminds her to be careful, but she insists he get out of the car. A heated argument ensues, with Vihaan reminding her of their marriage. Gauri dismisses the marriage as insignificant, while Vihaan explains that he had no choice at the time. Unmoved, Gauri asserts that the marriage means nothing to her. In response, Vihaan proposes that she stay with him—offering to pay her in return.
