Jagriti suggests to Suraj that he can impress Kalikant by gaining Mahesh Jha’s support, as Jha values respect over money. Kalikant, frustrated with Akash’s failure to secure hotel permission, demands results within two days. Suraj proposes inviting Mahesh Jha to lunch, which Kalikant approves, praising Suraj. Jagriti, pleased with Suraj’s success, playfully demands a dinner outing as a reward, which Suraj agrees to.
Meanwhile, Kalindi questions Kalikant about his plans, concerned about Arjun’s share of the property. Kalikant assures her that Arjun will receive 50%, while the rest will be split between Suraj and Akash. Kalindi threatens to expose his secrets if he doesn’t follow through. In response, Kalikant grants her decision-making power in the household, instructing her to control Jagriti.
Later, Suraj and Jagriti dine at a restaurant near the municipal corporation. While Suraj orders food, Jagriti sneaks into the corporation, swapping the hotel plan with a school plan before escaping unnoticed. Afterward, she rejoins Suraj and acts as if nothing happened.
At home, Bhairav dreams of killing Suraj to force Kalikant into keeping a widow in his house for political advantage. Determined to make his vision a reality, he plots his next move. Jagriti, unaware of his intentions, thanks him for arranging a new school blueprint. Bhairav reassures her that he would do anything for his daughter.
The next day, during a family meal, Kalikant announces Mahesh Jha’s visit for dinner. Kalindi seizes the opportunity to test Jagriti by assigning her a first kitchen ritual using firewood, knowing her fear of fire. Ganga expresses concern, but Kalindi reminds her of her authority. Jagriti, determined to see the school built instead of the hotel, agrees to the challenge. When Suraj offers to help, Kalindi strictly forbids it, leaving Jagriti to face the trial alone.
