The episode starts with Suraj offering to make pulao for Jagriti. As he tears up while cutting onions, Jagriti gently wipes his tears with her dupatta. When Suraj asks her to step back while he lights the stove, Jagriti declares she is no longer afraid of fire and lights the matchstick herself. Sapna witnesses the scene and is puzzled by Jagriti’s newfound courage.
As Jagriti enjoys the Pulao, she asks Suraj how she can recover her lost memories. Suraj suggests reconnecting with past friends, prompting Jagriti to mention Akash. Suraj warns her that revealing the truth to Akash could lead him to inform Kalikant. Despite his warning, Jagriti knocks on Akash’s door at 3 a.m., but Sapna intercepts her, suspicious of her motives. When Akash inquires about the late-night visitor, Sapna misleads him.
Jagriti decides to wait in the hall until morning to confront Akash, but Suraj, fearing Kalikant’s wrath, confides in Gungroo. Gungroo advises him to convince Jagriti that he, not Akash, was her best friend in the past. Meanwhile, Sapna, sensing something is amiss, ensures Akash leaves through the back door before Jagriti wakes up.
To stop Jagriti from meeting Akash, Suraj secretly mixes a sleeping drug into her drink, feeling guilty for deceiving her. However, Kalikant wakes Jagriti by pouring water on her face, furious that she and Suraj hid the truth about her identity. He declares they must be punished and orders his men to boil water to “purify” them before tearing their skin. In a desperate move, Jagriti knocks over a drum, causing the scalding water to fall on Kalikant instead.
