The episode starts with Gita smiling seeing Jagriti arriving at the essay competition venue. Kalikant wonders what is Gita doing at the event. A flashback reveals that Gita requested her superior to appoint her as the third judge for the essay competition hosted by Kalikant. Her superior agreed and later asked her about her intentions. Gita cryptically replied that he would find out soon enough. During the competition, Kalikant garlands the judges one by one. As he approaches Gita, he silently vows to make her pay for opposing him.
Kalindi notices Kalikant’s stress and questions him. Kalikant shows her a message from Inspector Singh. Kalindi reassures him, saying that if Jagriti and Gita are present, the evidence must also be nearby. Kalikant suspects Akash of aiding Jagriti and instructs Kalindi to keep a close watch on him. Kalindi agrees. Jagriti and Akash decide to hide the evidence in the cow shed. Akash urges Jagriti to focus on her essay for now, promising to hand over the evidence to Gita after the competition. Jagriti agrees.
Harish and Kachori arrive at Kalikant’s mansion, surprising Jagriti. Harish explains that Akash invited them to watch her compete. Akash expresses confidence in Jagriti’s victory and suggests asking Ganga for help with her essay. Jagriti agrees, and Akash takes Kachori aside to enlist her help in protecting the evidence.
Kalindi confronts Inspector Singh, scolding him for failing to prevent Jagriti from stealing the evidence against Kalikant. Singh says Jagriti is very intelligent, she easily fooled Amol and him and escaped with evidence file. She speculates that Jagriti must have hidden the evidence somewhere in the mansion and orders him to find it before the competition ends. Unbeknownst to them, Kachori overhears their conversation. Kachori informs Akash about Kalindi and Inspector Singh’s suspicions. Akash devises a plan that Kachori will monitor Inspector Singh while he keeps an eye on Kalindi.
Suraj shows Sapna an essay he wrote about stepmothers, urging her to read it to hurt Gita. Sapna agrees, and Jagriti, overhearing this, worries that the essay will deeply wound Gita. She shares her concerns with Akash, who promises to help. Kalindi approaches Gayatri and informs her that Jagriti has brought evidence against Kalikant into the mansion. She persuades Gayatri to interrogate Akash to uncover the evidence’s location. Gayatri reluctantly agrees.
Suraj delivers a speech about his father Kalikant, while Akash hurriedly writes a replacement essay to swap with Sapna’s. However, before he can make the switch, Gayatri intercepts him and demands to know where the evidence is hidden. Akash denies knowing anything and warns her to question Kalindi’s motives instead. He then leaves to find Jagriti. As Akash reaches Jagriti, they see Sapna stepping onto the stage. Akash apologizes to Jagriti, holding his ears, for failing to swap Sapna’s essay in time.
Precap: Ganga questions Akash if he is gathering evidence against his father. Jagriti hides pen drive in a calf and frees it.
Pen drive falls down. Kalindi predicts that the pendrive must be hidden in the calf. Jagriti finds pen drive missing.
