mahisha and rambh spent the wedding night at a serene place …
next morning mahisha gets up early than rambh and goes out for picking flowers …rambh was still sleeping…Indra comes there in the disguise of Mahisha …rambh wakes up …he praises mahisha …as soon as rambh turns his back …Indra comes in his original roop and kills rambh with his vajra …rambh shouts out the name of mahisha in his painful voice
Mahisha as soon hears rambh voice …comes back running …when she saw the dead body of rambh she totally broke down…she then decides to become sati with the funeral fire of her husband rambh…she becomes sati in the funeral fire …Yaksha raj and his wife who knew mahisha tried to stopped her but she didnot listen to them…

then all of a sudden the funeral fire of rambh and mahisha rises up to the sky and a creature with half human and half buffalo body appears …he is very scary …he is mahishasur…
