Jatin Arora has made headlines with his return to the popular TV series Teri Meri Dooriyann after a brief hiatus. Earlier this year, he left the show due to creative differences and to focus on his health. Initially playing the positive character Veer, the storyline shifted, leading to his character’s negative portrayal and eventual exit to an asylum in March.
After several months, Jatin is back on the show as Veer, Angad’s brother, aiming to resolve family issues and bring a positive influence. In an interview with Etimes, Jatin confirmed his return, expressing gratitude for the opportunity. “I had quit Teri Meri Dooriyann in March 2024 due to creative issues and to focus on my health. I played a very positive character initially, but when they planned my exit, my role turned negative, and my character was sent to an asylum. Now, after many months, I am back as the makers have decided to bring Veer back. I am glad that even when the show is wrapping up on July 14, the makers felt that they should revive my track, and I am grateful,” he shared.
Jatin emphasized the show’s initial focus on the bond between the three brothers. Towards the end, his character experienced significant changes, including struggles with alcoholism, bringing a negative dynamic to the Brar family. Now, returning refreshed, Jatin looks forward to portraying Veer as a changed and positive figure in the series.
Reflecting on the show’s premise, Jatin added, “Teri Meri Dooriyann is a good show, and the story initially revolved around the three brothers. When I quit the show, my character was in love with Sahiba’s sister. But, then since I wanted to exit, they showed my character as an alcoholic, bringing negativity to the Brar family. Now, after a break of three months, I am back, and my role will turn positive because Veer is now a changed man.”

they can bring back even the dead brars, as long as saiba is not in the show, it is nothing, she was the main lead. especially that now angad is falling for gurnoor who has a dark past, or who is a married woman, who would like to watch that. you failed us and nothing is going to revive the show, i know people react to gurnoor because she is Himanshi, but for me, i knew saiba as a character before i knew her rael name as himanshi. so regardless of the look, as lomg as she has a differnt name, and not saiba, even playing saiba's character, no use, sorry, you screwed your selves up, by adding too much negative plots, and disconnecting the sory from the narative.

i just read some rumours that Gurnoor is going to be turned into siaba, if so, i will be on clod #9. that way we can try to save our favourite show. i hope the focus will now be on sahan, however how is it going to be with zorvar now, was his marriage to saiba fake, trying to take adavntage of her helpness and manipulated her that she is his wife due to memory loss. is that he physically abused her for refusing to be intimate with him knowing our girl she does not sleep around or take crap from anybody, that is why beej and her gang are trying to intimidate her and forcefully take revenge on her. but then if she indeed has no relationship with zorvar and he knows she is someone's wife, why would he show up at the brar mansion, mystery but not interesting because i feel they might not give us what we really want to take revenge for us rejecting the leap. only God knows.
I think audience did not like the first sahiba because she was always crying and hurt by her inlaws and most of all by angad now they have given her a more firm role she loves akeer and stands up to manveer and angad only she is helpless towards zoravhar and that is negative i think garry knows more about this mystery but we don t know what i realy hope in the end she is sahiba but we don t know all i hope is that on 14 july ending will be happy not sad or negative
