Jay Soni on completing 100 episodes with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai; says, “As a new entrant, I was able to form a bond with the team and gel easily”
Actor Jay Soni, who is garnering a lot of love for his role as Abhinav in the popular TV show “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai”, has recently completed 100 episodes with the show. The actor talked about it in a recent interview and shared, “Yeh Rishta is a superb team to work with. As a new entrant, I was able to form a bond with the team and gel with them easily. I consider it to be a dream team to work with for any actor. I am grateful for the love and support I have received from the team and the audience.”
Jay further added, “It is a beautiful feeling when people appreciate you as an actor. I am extremely grateful and thankful to Rajan Sir and the production team for providing me with Abhinav. I shall always keep performing with full honesty and loyalty.”
Earlier in an interview with ETimes TV, Jay shared how the TV show has turned lucky for all the actors who have been associated with it over the years. He said, “I was never skeptical of taking up the role. Had I been very thoughtful about the role, I would have not been able to portray the role because I am very choosy about the roles I take up. But when I was offered Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai there was no thinking. I just grabbed the opportunity with both hands. This show has something, whosoever has touched this show, it has become good for their career. I felt I should also do justice, aur main bhi Is Ganga mein nahana chahunga .. (laughs). I just took a leap of faith and went with the flow.”
For the unversed, YRKKH is one of the longest-running shows in India and has been on air since 2009.
