There have been an array of rumors about Sasural Genda Phool 2 all set to call it a wrap. The show was aired in December and since few weeks there have been rumors about the show going off-air.
Now the lead man of the show Jay Soni has reacted to the rumors and confirmed that the show is not slated for a wrapup. He shared, “The show is definitely not wrapping up. But it has moved to an earlier time slot because the channel is getting another show in our time slot. I am happy with the way our show has connected with viewers and I could not have asked for more.”
When asked to compare both the seasons, he said, “I don’t feel the two seasons can be compared. When the first season was made, it was a different time period and a different script. It was also aired on a different channel. Currently, the second season has a good role for me and I like how the makers have treated the subject. Currently, my track involves action scenes and how I save Titli (Shagun Sharma) from some local goons.”
He also added, “Regarding viewership and ratings, not much is in our hands. The show is doing well and I get good feedback from viewers. Ishaan, my character, is interesting and different from the first season.”
The fans can now relax as their show is not going off-air indeed.
