Jay Soni reacts to the rumours about his role coming to an end in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlataa Hai
There are rumours doing the rounds that Jay Soni, who is currently essaying the role of Abhinav Sharma in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlataa Hai, will soon exit the show. According to the reports, after his exit from the show, Abhimanyu (Harshad Chopda) and Akshara (Pranali Rathod) will reunite and their son Abheer will be instrumental in bringing them together.
In a recent interview, Jay talked about it and said, “All this is just speculation. I am so glad that my character Abhinav has received so much love from viewers. I am thankful to the writers who have written this character so well. My track is not getting over any time now or in the near future. As of now, I am going to be an important part of the show, so people should not fall for these speculations. These rumours are baseless.”
He added, “A few days ago, I was suffering from severe back pain and then I went home and had some ice cream. I soon got a fever but continued to shoot because this role is very close to my heart. Even my 5-year-old daughter Aradheea keeps asking me to take rest and spend time at home, but as of now I am too focused on my work.”
