“no not marigold but roses… I want fresh roses or I will cut your payment”ragini threatened on the phone preparing for the next function when she felt someone’s gaze on her.ragini turned around and found kanav tapping his feet glaring her.”what happened baby,why are you angry?”ragini knelt in front of him holding his hands.kanav pouted angrily and snatched her phone.”you are the bride not a wedding planner here so stop doing this work and take care of yourself”kanav said while ragini stood guilty.
ragini forwarded the phone to kanav who switched it off.kanav smiled and went from there.ragini looked at his disappearing figure and smiled for his concern.
“sanskar beta you, come, come”Sumi welcomed sanskar who smiled at her and sat down.ragini came running after kanav in the hall and both halted their steps seeing sanskar.ragini stood shy tucking a hair strand behind her hair.kanav jumped on sanskar excited to see him distracting him from staring ragini.”papa I was really missing you”kanav sat on his lap pouting.sanskar raised his eyebrow sensing kanav wants to say something.”woh… actually I wanted to complain to you… about mumma… she’s not listening to me… I told her to not use phone and don’t work but she stealthily took the phone from my drawer and again started working…scold her.. she doesn’t listens to me”kanav folded his hands while sanskar looked on amused.ragini bit her lip feeling sanskar’s gaze.”ragini you are the bride…. you should not work… take rest for few days at least as I know you will start working after next day of marriage…. so please take some rest when it’s time… you need it…
see even kanav is worried about your over working”sanskar spoke with concern visible in his every word.ragini looked at him and nodded her head with a small smile.kanav clapped his hands flashing a bright smile to sanskar who hugged him immediately.”ok baby, now I won’t work… promise… now to give back my phone”ragini pouted cutely pinching her neck.kanav smirked at her and started running with her phone giggling softly.ragini huffed and ran behind him pleading to get her phone.”no mumma I won’t give it”kanav teased her escaping from her hold.”kanav please bacha”ragini said tired.kanav looked at her exhausted figure and neared her.ragini smirked and caught his hand shocking kanav.”cheating”kanav said pouted while ragini took phone from him giving him an innocent look.”no ragini you cheated by presenting yourself as exhausted”sanskar jumped in when kanav gave him a helpful look.ragini got up with a winning smile and moved towards him.sanskar felt his heart flutter with joy and nervousness as she stood close to him.”you were saying something?”ragini looked at him blinking her eyes innocently melting sanskar’s heart.”I am not going to disturb your romance,
Nani you also come with me”kanav kept hand on his eyes holding sumi’s hand and they went from there leaving blushing ragsan.”ragini I…”sanskar stuttered to get a word out of his mouth while ragini faked anger saying”because of you they misunderstood me”. sanskar leaned back when ragini started leaning towards him making him numb.ragini smiled seeing him like that and backed away.sanskar looked at her freezed but soon came to senses composing himself.”you came here so early??”ragini asked while he brushed his hair thinking of his purpose for the visit.”woah actually”sanskar said getting up while ragini looked on expectantly but he moved past her and stood before Sumi and kanav who came back.”aunty, kanav can I take ragini with me for sometime??”Sumi had a unknown look on her face while kanav looked on thinking.ragini looked on confused as to what he has planned.”yes you can take her”kanav said after a bit of thinking while Sumi nodded teasingly.sanskar smiled widely and looked at ragini lovingly.ragini went in to get ready while sanskar smiled thinking of his surprise.
“sanskar where are we going??”ragini asked childishly while sanskar gave her a glare for her same question in the past 10 minutes.ragini pouted seeing his glare and sat silent till the car stopped at a known place.sanskar came out and offered his hand to ragini who held his hand coming out of the car puzzled at the location.”sanskar this??”ragini looked towards the bridge and then at him.sanskar smiled not saying a word holding her hand and took her to the center.ragini was surprised seeing the rose petals on the narrow bridge which lead her to the center of the bridge.”sanskar..”before ragini could speak further sanskar came in front of her holding her hand still.”ragini you must remember this bridge right… how could we forget it… it was where our lives changed…if that day you would not have realized your mistake then we won’t be standing here hand in hand….we came in each other’s lives as a means to our ends…we were the selfish lovers blinded by love… but that is what got us together… you know I was attracted to your innocence from the starting… and I regret that I took it away from you…
but you didn’t lost it,inturn you gave me a part of your goodness that made me realize what sin I was about to commit… you have knowingly or unknowingly always got me on right path.. when you went away years ago I was happy that you also accepted your mistake but in deep of my heart my life screamed for your presence…I wished to see you the next day in our secret meeting place… the mandir…I wished to hear your voice once… to smell your sweet scent… but with your going away I lost that part of my heart which made me to live…I became a corpse doing just mechanical work…. and then you came back with a new avatar….I felt breathing after so much time when I saw you for the first time after so many years…I longed for your presence in my life… you are the soothing elemnt in this eccentric life…. your every antic… your nature… your brave attitude.. your sweet side…I fell in every shade of your character…. your words and actions made a deep impact on my heart…I had seen your face before also but your enchanting inner beauty attracted me more than anything else… you have become hard fighting this cruel world… but I could still find traces of the old… innocent… pure ragini in you..
I love you… your both versions…. when I heard what you went through these years my respect for you rose… when I got to know of your sacrifice I promised myself that I won’t ever let you adjust for even a small thing now.. you have fought this world alone and now I want to stand beside you… to be a part of your beautiful journey… you blessed me with your presence…I am really lucky that I could hear the confession from you but now I officially want to ask you”sanskar’s every word was filled with love, desire, longing, compassion and devotion to his love.ragini felt tears gushing down hearing him open up about his feelings while sanskar smiled through his glassy eyes remembering how her presence always makes him feel delightful and light, she was the solace to all his pain and he didn’t desired her but needed her just like ragini needed someone to heal her scars.
sanskar bent on his knee making ragini gasp, she had expected it to happen but when it was happening it all seemed surreal but she wanted to cherish this ethereal moment.”ragini gadodia will you marry me??I won’t say that I would always keep you happy because sadness has to come after a time as it’s the circle of life but I promise to always be with you in every situation… you will find me standing beside you….I promise that we will face a situation together…i want to feel your love with me… fragrance my life with your sweet scent of love”sanskar forwarded a ring to her while ragini nodded kneeling down to his level.”sanskar i…I love you…”ragini said through her sobs hearing his emotional talks.sanskar hugged her tightly while ragini reciprocated the hug feeling
content.”here”sanskar made her wear the ring which brought a wide smile on her face.he wiped her tears and both stood up looking at each other lovingly.they felt the love reflected in each other’s eyes overwhelming them with emotions.sanskar hugged ragini again while he nuzzled to him breathing his scent.they stood in that position for some time when sanskar broke the hug lifting ragini in arms.”sanskar what are you doing?”ragini chuckled in his embrace but sanskar made her sit in car and drove to another place.
“mandir… our secret place?”ragini asked holding his hand in hers while the old memories crossed her mind making her smile.sanskar smiled softly at her and they stepped inside.
