Jhanak 12th March 2025 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com
The episode begins with Mrinalini asserting that everyone in the household must contribute to household chores. Tanuja, feeling undermined, questions Mrinalini’s authority to give her instructions. Mrinalini counters by pointing out that Tanuja has no problem directing Anjana, so she should be able to accept instructions herself. She further argues that if Tanuja were fulfilling her responsibilities properly, she wouldn’t have to intervene. Shifting her attention, Mrinalini then instructs Bipasha to prepare evening snacks for everyone. Bipasha, unaccustomed to such demands, questions why she should be the one to do so.
Mrinalini firmly declares that Bipasha will not receive food if she refuses to contribute to household tasks. She further criticizes Dadi, stating that as the matriarch, she should have already established proper rules for managing the house. Amidst the escalating tension, Jhanak arrives with tea. Seizing the moment, Bipasha directs a pointed remark at her, asking whether Jhanak will simply rest while they do all the work.
Mrinalini steps in again, addressing Bipasha’s assumption. She clarifies that neither Lal nor Shubh are responsible for Jhanak’s expenses. Instead, Jhanak’s well-being is her and Choton’s responsibility, and they will ensure she is taken care of. Bipasha, growing more frustrated, turns to Lal and complains that they should have left the house already. She expresses her disappointment that even Dadi has chosen to remain silent instead of supporting her. Dadi tries to pacify the situation by telling Bipasha to calm down and suggesting that they revisit the discussion later. Attempting to defuse the rising tension, she changes the subject to Holi and asks Bipasha why her mother never attends family functions. She insists that Bipasha’s mother should come to the Holi celebration this time. At that moment, Bipasha receives a call from her mother, asking to meet her urgently, leaving Bipasha wondering what could have happened.
Later, Jhanak brings food to Arshi’s room, but Arshi refuses to accept it. She asserts that she is feeling better and can now take care of herself. She then directs a personal question at Jhanak, asking when she plans to leave the house. Jhanak responds that she will be leaving in a few days. Arshi, seemingly aware of Jhanak’s precarious situation, remarks that she understands Jhanak has nowhere to go. In a surprising turn, she admits to having wronged Jhanak, which leaves Jhanak confused.
Arshi then makes an unexpected suggestion—she offers to talk to Vihaan on Jhanak’s behalf. She proposes that Jhanak could go to Vihaan’s house and even consider marrying him if she wishes. Jhanak, taken aback by the suggestion, questions whether a woman’s life is incomplete without marriage. Arshi defends herself, stating that she was merely offering Jhanak an option, not imposing a decision upon her.
Meanwhile, Bipasha meets her mother at a coffee shop, where she immediately asks what the urgent matter is. Her mother, appearing troubled, inquires whether Bipasha remembers the past. Bipasha, visibly uncomfortable, snaps that she does not want to recall that her mother was a dancer. Her mother, however, insists on discussing it, revealing that she was betrayed by her first husband. She explains that she later remarried, and her second husband accepted Bipasha as his own. Bipasha, confused as to why this is relevant now, questions her mother’s sudden concern over past events.
Her mother then makes a shocking revelation—her first husband is still alive, and she never officially divorced him. Bipasha is unimpressed and uninterested, but her mother warns her that he now desires a luxurious life. If he does not receive financial support, he might target Bipasha. Bipasha, though still irritated, reassures her mother that she will remain cautious and not allow fear to dictate their lives. Her mother stresses that Lal is unaware of this truth, so they must proceed carefully. Bipasha acknowledges this and resolves to be vigilant.
Meanwhile, Omkar’s wife, Sarita, expresses her gratitude to Omkar. She thanks him and pleads with him to continue protecting their child. Omkar, in turn, reassures her that he will always take care of them, affirming his commitment to their well-being.
At the same time, Anirudh arrives at the house and immediately senses tension. He questions what is happening. Arshi, eager to explain, informs him that she suggested Jhanak go to Vihaan. However, Jhanak interjects, asserting that she is staying in the house because there are a few people who genuinely want her there. She implies that she is not clinging to the house but rather respecting those who support her. Arshi defends her position, insisting that she made the suggestion for Jhanak’s own good.
Anirudh, growing frustrated, reminds everyone that Jhanak is fully capable of making decisions about her own life. Arshi, still persistent, asks why Jhanak refuses to marry Vihaan. Jhanak, in a firm yet composed tone, tells Arshi that she would not be able to handle her true reason. Arshi, however, quickly deduces that Jhanak is waiting for Anirudh. Jhanak immediately denies this, stating that she simply does not want to marry again. She firmly tells Arshi that she is not a beggar dependent on others’ decisions for her future.
Anirudh, sensing the tension, turns to Arshi and accuses her of not trusting him. Jhanak, refusing to let the situation escalate further, declares that she will leave the house when she feels ready, not when others decide for her. With this final statement, the episode comes to a dramatic close.
