The Episode starts with Arshi telling the police inspector that if she is wrong, it will be proved during the investigation. She says Jhanak deserves punishment if she did anything wrong. Jhanak tells the police inspector that the family’s reputation will be damaged if people see the police entering the Bose house. She assures she will reach the police station on time the next day. Choton insists that Jhanak is innocent, but the police inspector says the investigation will determine the truth.
Anirudh declares he will accompany Jhanak to the police station. Lalon assures him they are all standing with Jhanak. Mrinalini agrees with Lalon. Jhanak promises to cooperate with the investigation but prefers to go alone. Anirudh refuses to let her face it alone. The police inspector then leaves with his team.
The next day, Anirudh reminds Jhanak that they need to be at the police station by 10 am. Shubh remarks that Jhanak isn’t a child and can manage on her own. Jhanak urges Anirudh to focus on his office work. Choton, however, insists she shouldn’t go alone. Tanuja questions Choton’s support for Jhanak, reminding him that they lost the baby because of her. Anirudh, despite his own loss, refuses to blame Jhanak. Shubh tries to dissuade Anirudh from going, but Anirudh believes Jhanak’s innocence will be proven. Anjana laments how Jhanak is always blamed for everything. Choton tells Jhanak she should stop doing good for others.
Arshi then asks Anirudh to drop her at her dance class. Anirudh refuses, saying he’s heading to the police station with Jhanak. Arshi reminds him that she asked him not to get involved. Anirudh accuses Arshi of using Jhanak and then discarding her. Arshi says she has suspicions about Jhanak and simply wants the truth. She adds that she filed the complaint to prevent Anirudh from supporting Jhanak. Jhanak urges them not to fight. Arshi snaps at Jhanak, accusing her of pretending. Jhanak says she will tell the truth at the police station. Anirudh reassures Jhanak that she doesn’t need to justify herself to anyone.
Arshi demands Anirudh stay away from the police station. Anirudh refuses, asserting his determination. Tanuja questions if he plans to accuse Arshi of lying. Anirudh confidently replies that he will if necessary. Jhanak worries that Anirudh’s support will only complicate matters for her. She emphasizes that she has Choton and Lalon on her side and asks Anirudh to focus on his wife instead. Anirudh retorts that his identity is not limited to being Arshi’s husband and refuses to back down.
Elsewhere, Bipasha confronts Sarveshwar, questioning why he keeps calling her. Sarveshwar demands money. Bipasha pleads for time, saying the police drama has disrupted her plans. Sarveshwar threatens to visit the Bose house. Bipasha warns him not to involve her in-laws. He proposes they run away to Banaras since Laal doesn’t love her. Bipasha is shocked by his words. Sarveshwar insists he will visit the Bose house that evening to expose his grievances.
Bipasha stalls, asking for a few days. Sarveshwar ominously wonders what will happen if Jhanak gets arrested. He reiterates his demand for money. Bipasha offers to give him her jewelry for now, which pleases him. He professes his love for her and asks when he will receive the jewelry. Bipasha instructs him to meet her at the park near her house. Sarveshwar agrees and insists on both jewelry and cash. Bipasha calls him a devil.
Back at the Bose house, Arshi lashes out at Jhanak, accusing her of ruining her life. Jhanak denies the blame and points out that Arshi is responsible for her own problems. She leaves, followed by Choton and Anirudh.
Later, Jhanak arrives at the police station with Anirudh, Choton, and Lalon. Anirudh tells the police inspector that Arshi should never have filed the complaint. He explains that Jhanak is Arshi’s sister and that Arshi wanted Jhanak to stay at the hospital on the delivery day. He further reveals that Nurse Sunita failed to inform him of anything. Lalon adds that Jhanak suspected Nurse Sunita was involved in the baby exchange incident.
