“Twinkle wait…..” Kunj called her as she ran towards the balloon vendor.
Yuvi and mahi dint notice them,busy in their own world.
Twinkle bought all balloons and turned to find kunj running towards her.
“Are you nuts.? I was calling you so high. cant tou listen.?” He bursted on her but shewas busy writing something on balloon with sketch pen.
“Hmm..sorry” she replied and continued writing something.
“Not lets go. Its getting dark and mahi and yuvi would have already reached there”
“I am waiting for sunset” she looked at the sky and then at kunj
“We are not in any Hill station miss.twinkle Taneja. We are in an isolated strange and wierd village. Why are you so excited for the damned sunset?”
“Shut up,okay.? Just shut up.?. If you dont like this village. Keep your mouth shut and leave it right now. I never asked you to run behind me,did i.? But you came. Just stop accomapanying all time okay.?. You just never let me breathe. Always follow me as a rat. Just leave…..i never asked to—-”
Twinkle bursted on him,angrily while he stood there zipped.
He never expected this outburst. He never thought she would hate him for caring about her.
His eyes welled up which twinkle dint notice. She was too much busy writing on the balloons.
She never intended to hurt him but it was just a reflex action to his possesive behaviour.
“Ohkay” he replied not able to find a word as he wasnt sure if it would trail off because of the tears
He ran away while twinkle walk towards a river,a few distance away.
There was a large oak tree. She sat under it and placed the balloons aside.
Kunj almost reached there where he find everyone looking for they both.
He hide behind a tree and msgd them that he and twinkle are together. Will be there in 10 minutes.
There was no tower around. It took 3 minutes to reach there.
He again ran towards her and saw twinkle praying.her hands were folded and her eyes were closed. Her head was rose in the sky..
She looked cute.
He ran and hide behind the same tree underwhich she was sitting..
She stood up and went near the river.
And looked at the balloons.
She took out one..
And left it in the sky.
It had ‘I love my family’ written on it.
Kunj smile…as she let go the second one.
‘I love my friends’ written on it.
She wrote something on third and looked around. And then let it go.
It said.’Babaji,never let that dream come true’
She let go the rests…something or other written on it.
She believed that,through this sending your msg to babaji..it gets fulfilled for sure.
Kunj went towards her..
“So its all about dream.?” He asked,still sad about how she birsted on him.
It had been ages,that she had done this.
“Hmm…” She replied.
When he never ask anything she herself said “wont you ask what was that.?”
“If you want you can share..i want to let you breathe and dont want to follow you every where like a rat”
“Umm..i am—”
“Never mind…say whats that”
“Every one had disappeared. Something bad had happened…i dont know what..but you..mumma papa and your family were underground”
Kunj looked at her curiously.
“It was vulnerable..then i got a msg from you suddenly..saying……” She stopped as she remembered what was that….
“Saying…?”
“Umm….saying bye and then it ended” her eyes was filled with tears “i was left alone….”
“Sh…you aint” he murmured and engulfed her in a hug. She reciprocated.
The atmosphere was serene. The sun set as the moon took over. The hustling sound of water flowing down the river made them feel romantic.
Kunj kissed her hairs..and let her go,realizing there state.
“I am sorry” he murmured. While twinkle looked at him boggled..
“Lets go” he said and stood up imeediately.
The whole way he was silent.
Once they reach there.both were surrounded by their families..
Twinkle thought she messed up everythig and hurted him badly.
The next morning they reach to the wedding.
The marriage was in the afternoon because the baraati’s were from different state and they had to leave..
It ended,and by evening they leave for their house too.
The whole time,except ‘hmmm’ —‘yes’ and ‘no’..they shared no word….

They reached on saturday,and their exams were starting from monday..
The beat friend who use to larn everything together…sat on there beds alone with the books…
