In a distressing turn of events, Kaala Teeka actor Bhupinder Singh has found himself charged with murder following a shooting incident in his hometown of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. The altercation occurred when Bhupinder and his aides engaged in a dispute with three individuals opposing his tree-cutting activity for building a farm fence, resulting in one fatality and three injuries.
While Bhupinder is recognized as a person with a good heart, reports suggest a history of losing his temper. An anonymous co-actor from the show ‘Rishton Ka Chakravyuh’ expressed, “Bhupinder is a good guy at heart, but he is known to lose his cool.” The source mentioned a prior incident in 2016 on the set of Kaala Teeka where Bhupinder had slapped a senior production head. Attempts were made by industry bodies to resolve the matter amicably, with Bhupinder issuing an apology. Expressing sympathy for Bhupinder’s family, the co-actor described the recent incident in his hometown as unfortunate.
The dispute reportedly originated in October over Bhupinder’s agricultural activities during the pandemic. Sources indicate a disagreement between Bhupinder and Gurdeep Singh regarding the cutting of eucalyptus trees on his farm. Matters escalated on Sunday when Bhupinder fired his licensed revolver, resulting in the death of a 23-year-old man named Govind and injuries to three others. Bhupinder and his associates have been apprehended by the authorities.
Bhupinder, who has been part of various TV shows and co-produced shows like ‘Kartik Purnima’ and ‘Rishton Ka Chakravyuh’ alongside his wife, had temporarily shifted focus to farming during the pandemic. A close family source highlighted Bhupinder’s educational background, his career in showbiz since 1995, his foray into Telugu films, and subsequent appearances in TV shows. However, the source acknowledged Bhupinder’s known struggle with anger issues, expressing shock over the recent unfortunate incident.
