After 48 hours
In hospital
48 hours had passed and unfortunately Abhi has slipped into COMA. All were sitting around helplessly. But after a few hours Tammana gathered courage and went to Dr. Hussain along with Tai Didi.
Tam: Dr. Hussain how is Abhi now what can we do next?
Tai: Please tell us doctor is there any hope…… or can we go to a better place for his treatment….
Dr. Hussain: Sorry…… but we had tried our level best and the patient went into coma, there is only a few chance of his revival…. I am sorry
Tammana: You can’t say like that doctor…… Not…… Nothing can happen to him…. He is all we have….. Please do something….. Anything…….. Any treatment…. Don’t care about money I will pay you as much as you ask……
Dr. Hussain: It’s not about money Miss. Shah it’s his condition….
Tai: Please doctor is there no hope…….. Please tell us if there is even 1% chance.
Dr. Hussain: Well there is hope although it’s a small one.
Tam: Just tell us……. Just tell us what it is.
Dr. Hussain: There is a famous Neurosurgeon Dr. Kartik Khanna in Shimla, he had worked with me in Lakeshore Hospital Kerala. He is the best. I have seen him performing miracles… He has revived patients from nearly 5year coma also. It’s said that his hands are hands of Lord Kartikaya himself…… If someone can help Abhi at this stage its him. But it will be hard to reach him. You have to wait for nearly a year to even get his appointment….. And…… Abhi don’t have much time……
Tai and Tammana were shocked to hear his name. The life was playing a really cruel game with them……. First it was Arjun and now Kartik…….. There life till yesterday was like a beautiful garden….. Though with a few dried leaves…… But today it had the pain and silence of a battle field….. And they were defeated here like broken warriors……..
When Tammana and Tai Didi reached others their face clearly showed the pain. Meghna was first to recover and speak…
Meghna: What did the doctor say????
Tammana: He went into coma….
Meghna: Noooooo…….( She was broken)
Tammana: Calm down Meghu….. We can still revive him……
Meghna: And how are we going to do that Tammy…… He went into coma….. Do you understand its meaning…… (Still crying)
Tammana: I know that’s why I consulted Dr. Hussain and he said……
Meghna: What did he say…..
Tammana: He said…… He said that…..
Meghna: (shouts) Just tell me dammit what did he say…..
Tai: He said that the only person who can help us now is Dr. Kartik Khanna
Meghna just sat down with a thud on hearing this name…..
Tammana: Sorry Meghu…. I know but….
Meghna: What did Dr. Hussain say….
Tammana: He said that if someone can help Abhi at this stage its him. But it will be hard to reach him. We have to wait for nearly a year to even get his appointment….. And…… Abhi don’t have much time……
On hearing this Meghna just got up with a new found energy and wiped her tears and asked…
Meghna: So what are we waiting for…… Let’s try and get his appointment.
Tai: I tried it through my sources but it would nearly 1 week even to get hospital appointment…. It’s really hard…. I am trying…..
Meghna: My son needs treatment now….. I don’t have time for trial and error…… I know how to get to meet him…..
Tammana: But Meghu…..
Meghna: I know your concern Tammy…… But a mother can’t run and hide when it’s about her child…… For Abhi I can either kill or die…… And about me you know without him I am as good as died….. I will go and get him for our Abhi…
Tammana: I will too come with you….
Meghna: No Tammy I need you here to look after my Abhi and Jo. Appu already has her plate full. And I just want the person responsible for this accident free of this charge but not out of city….
Tammana: I don’t understand you…. You don’t want him punished……
Meghna: No I don’t want him to be a VIP prisoner for few hours but I will punish him with my own hand…
Tammana: But Meghu….
Meghna: Please do as I say…… and Venu please book me on the next flight to Shimla….. If not possible arrange a car….. And please don’t cross question me like Tammy……..
In Hotel….
Arjun has not even slept. He was just walking in his room as a pendulum… He knew his brother and Naira has crossed lines this time, and if something happens to that he could never forgive himself….. He was ready to take any punishment but just wished that the child was safe…. He was just an year older than his Ayu…. If anything had happened to Ayu he would have himself killed that person and his entire family……. He did not knew how his mother or rather his mother were talking the news….
When he called to hospital after few hours he was shocked to know that the child has slipped into coma and he was beyond shocked……. He felt that his whole blood has been drained out in a very painful way and he had been stabbed at his heart with a hot iron rod many times…… He don’t know but he had a strange connection with the child……
But he also knew that he had responsibility towards his Jha Group of Industries……. So most unwillingly he made call to his biggest opponent……. Dev Mehra ……. He knew he can’t wait long…… and he was out of options….. If anyone can fight and win this case it was this ruthless man….. the Devil prince himself…… He knew he is into business this days, but he also knew that to save his brother he has to make deal with the devil himself……. He knew the wounded lioness was hardest to fight, and if the fight is about her child she is bound to win……. He did not want to take any chance against a mother…. In this case mothers…. He knew his brother was at fault but he could not just stand and watch him getting punished…. He was bound to save him….. By hook or by crook…..
