Last episode: Episode 9
At The traffic Singal
Finally they stood up and collected all tiffins…Sonakshi gives them to the others who were left…. while dev waits for her….
Dev: Shall we leave…?
Sonakshi: we?
Dev: you and me……look ! you have refused many things till date….coffee…lunch…please! not this…. you are coming with me to the hospital…
Sonakshi nods…
They have a fresh start as he said…ek nayi kahani…a new story is all set to begin…
Ishwari calls dev’s number….Dev put the phone on speaker…as he was driving….and therefore Sonakshi can also hear their conversations…
Dev: hain maa….(yes mom)
Ishwari: tune aaj phone nhi kiya…(you didn’t called me today)
Dev after yesterday’s confrontation and knowing all truth was so excited to meet sona in morning that he got up were early bought chocolates for the kids and reached the traffic signal so he can meet her before hospital…
Dev: hain maa….woh kuch kam tha…tu bta thik hai na….(yes mom…i had sme work…you tell me…i you ok)
Sonakshi was smiling hearing the mom-son convo….she didn’t knew that mr khadoos and obodhro have really humble and sweet mom…
Ishwari: 2 hafte hain….fir tujhe mumbai lautna hai….yaad hai na….(2 weeks….then you have to return to mumbai….you remember that…)
With the realization of it….Sonakshi and Dev looked at each other…they have just started developing a brewing bond between each other…and now dev is going to leave….
Ishwari: jaldi apna kam khatam karle….(complete your work fast…)
Dev(in low voice): hain maa….(yes mom…)
Call was disconnected but ishwari’s words were echoing in their minds…only 2 weeks…how 1 and half month passed they didn’t realized it at all…fighting…putting each other in troubles…blame game…it was all about that only…and now when they want to know each other as friends or something else….Dev is to leave….
To break the silence…
Sonakshi: y…ou….r mom is re…ally….sweet…
Dev:yah she is….
And they looked at each other…
They both know that very well…that none of them was interested in what they said about…but those 2 weeks were going in their mind
Suddenly the car stopped…
Sonakshi: kya hua…? (what happened)
Dev: Let me see….
Dev and Sonakshi both come out of the car…It was puncture…
Dev:oh no…
Sonakshi: don’t worry call the mechanic…we can wait…
Dev: no actually…I will get it repaired later…we will go by an auto…
Sonakshi: I think…there won’t be any auto…..metro???
Dev: metro…?
Sonakshi: dhaula kuan station is near…we can go by it…
Dev have never used this public transport…when he was poor…he didn’t had money to travel by that…and when he became reach he traveled by cars only…that’s although a new experience for him…new colors.. !
Sonakshi entered the metro followed by dev….It was a Monday morning…and thus huge crowd was packed in it….Someone bruised Sonakshi…just then dev covered her from all side…taking him in his shield…without even touching…
Sonakshi looked at him…his mild perfume…was getting into her mind…her senses…she wanted to lose her self into his arms…she actually fell in love with him from very first sight…but he wasn’t that easy to go with….
Dev: ek baat puchu….(may i ask you one thing..)
Sonakshi nods innocently…she was so nervous inside that her heartbeats can be easily heard..
Dev: tumhe bura laga …jab maa ne kha…2 hafte bache hain…(you felt hurt…when mom said….only 2 weeks are left..)
Sonakshi was getting imbalanced and for this she had to find something to keep her hand…and now he asked the question that made her even more imbalanced inside…so she puts her hand on the rod by side….and mistakenly it was on dev’s hand which was already on rod…He tightens his grip over the rod…encircling her hand
The metro trains stops…everyone pushes them to move outside…and some to move inside…but they didn’t move even a bit…engrossed in each other’s eyes…
Sonakshi: we have reached….
Dev moves aside,
Sonakshi moves outside and leaves to the hospital…where dev is left smiling…
Radharani is talking over phone,
Radharani: Jiji..mein kah rehti dev no jo naya ghar liya… uski puja mein aap bhi aa jayye…(i was just saying that…you must come to attend the puja of dev’s new house…)
Ishwari: bhabhi…aana toh main bhi chahti hun….par ghar chodd kar kaise aa jaun…(bhabhi…i also want to come…but how to leave the house…)
Radharani: array…Jiji….kosis kijiye….aur apko meine btaya tha na…uss ladki ke bare mein…apne dev se baat ki…?)arrey…you must try….and i told you na…about that girl…have you asked dev about it…)
Ishwari: bhabhi !…mein dev par pura bharosa karti hun…aur mein nhi chahti ki usse kuch aur lagge…(bhabhi !….i trust dev….and i don’t want him to think anything else…)
Radharani: gareeb ki beti ki toh koi suntan hi nhi….apki marji…mein dev ko apna samjhti hun isiliye kah diya….(no one hears gkb…your wish..i consider dev as my child thats why i told you…)
Ishwari listens to her and then disconnects the call with a sweet note…without hurting her…
Ishwari(in her mind): Pta nhi bhabhi ! kya kah rhi hain…..dev aur kissi ladki ke saath…yakin karne ko dil nhi mann rha par…dev bdal rha hai…dimaag yakin kar rha hai…(i don’t know what was she saying…dev and with a girl….my heart is not agreeing…but dev is changing…and my mind can notice that…)
Neha in this story is unmarried…and till date there is no ranvir in her life…She is the same stubborn and arrogant neha !
Neha: kya hua maa….(what happened mom..)
Ishwari: kuch nhi….(nothing)
Neha: bta…tu pareshan lag rhi….(tell….you are looking tensed…)
Ishwari: bhabhi….se…..baat hui thi…..woh dev se milli thi…(i called bhabhi…she met dev..)
Neha: hain tune btaya tha….(yah ! you told me…)
Ishwari: wo keh rhi thi ki dev kissi ladki ke saath tha…….(she was telling me that dev was with some girl..)
Nikki enters,
Nikki: dev bhai ! and girlfriend………this is cool !
Neha: nikki!…..maa tu bhai ko bhi janti hai aur maami ko bhi….bhai sirf apna kam karne gye hain….ho sakta hai wo ladki unke saath kam karti ho…aur mami faltu mein…(nikki…maa u know bhai as well as mammi…bhai is only there to work..may be that girl works with him….and mami was uselessly doing this..)
Ishwari: mujhe lagta hai tu thik kah rhi hai…(i think you are right…)
Dev and Sonakshi enter the hospital…They stand in the mid of lobby to leave for their cabins…
Dev: ok
Sonakshi:ok…
Dev(leans down with smile): ok
Sonakshi (does the same): ok…
Dev(moves a little bit and turns): ok
Sonakshi(shook her head): ok…
Dev finally walks very fat to his room and sonakshi hit her head wit her hand and moves to the cabin
Dev’s Cabin…
Tina: sir, this is the report of last month…
Before she continues she notices her boss is somewhere lost today…
Tina: sir..!!!!!!!!!
Dev: hain sonakshi…
Tina was shocked to hear what he just said…
Tina: sir ! dr. bose??
Dev: did I said sonakshi….?
Tina: yes ! you just said that….
Dev: you heard it wrong….i am leaving for my daily routine…
Dev was all red after tina caught him red handed with sonakshi’s thought in his mind…
Dev leaves the cabin and tina giggles as he leaves…
Sonakshi’s cabin
Nurse: mam ! here is the MRI report…
Sonakshi all engrossed in her thoughts…
Sonakshi: 3D…
Nurse: mam ! yeh 3D kaise ho sakti hai…(mam ! this can’t be 3D)
Sonakshi: I don’t know… I want 3D….
Nurse:mam!!!!!!!!!
Sonakshi comes out of her dream world…
Sonakshi: what?
Nurse: you said you want 3D scan…
Sonakshi realized what she have just murmured in her dreams..
Sonakshi: arrange it… any how….bye…I am leaving for my routine call…
As she walks out…she collides with dev…
Dev holds her…
Tu mujhme mujhse jyada hai…
Tu mujhme mujhse zyada hai…
Sonakshi looks at his eyes…..those light eyes..
They come out of their world…as the hospital staff is watching this love scene…
Dev: I you ok Dr. Bose…?
Sonakshi looks at him with wide eyes…It sounds so professional but yet so concerning…
Sonakshi: I am ok…
Dr. Sinha enters,
Dr. Sinha: thats great you two are at one place….next Sunday our hospital is completeing its 50 years…. golden jubilee celebration will be there…and you both have to make your presence there…ok doctors…!!
Dev and Sonakshi nods…
In the evening,
Dev leaves to meet the contractor for the new house décor…
Prakash: sir ! yeh walls ka paint pura hote hi….apna saman le aayein…(sir…as this white wash completes…you can bring your things…)
Dev was not satisfied with the new interiors and he wanted someone to do this for him….he tried many interior designers but nobody could satisfy him…with losing hopes he leaves the place…
Next Morning,
He was going through the pictures of new house…when suddenly his search ended at SONAKSHI’s name…he thought he should ask her to help…that would be great idea to know her more…and house will also get some cool stuff…
Dev reaches Sonakshi’s house….Satakshi is gone to her hometown for few days…he picked her without telling her where they are going….Dev bought her to his new house…
Sonakshi: yeh kahan aa gye hum…? (she sings it) (where have we reached..)
Dev smiles at her innocent talks…
And entangle his fingers into hers and drag her to the new house’s entrance…
Dev: here, we are…
Sonakshi: your new house….
Sonakshi runs into it…
And dev smiles seeing her excitement….she runs to the balcony while dev stands in the hall waiting for her to complete her tour…
Prakash: Acha hua sir aap aa gye…(thats great you came sir…)
Sonakshi comes and stands near dev…
Prakash: Bhabhiji………..Namaste…
This time none of them is interested in correcting him…ahem! ahem !
Dev: kaisa laga ghar…? (you liked the house?)
Sonakshi: ghar acha hai(house is nice)… but interiors pathetic…
Dev: that’s why I bought you here….sugegst something…I have no idea
Sonakshi: then get Idea…..devar ji ! (pointing towards prakash) aap zara mere saath ayyenge(will you please come with me)…
Sonakshi starts guiding the contractor….and time to time she turns to dev to know his point of view…but he only nods at whatever she says…
Sonakshi: so this is what I have planned….all is complete…
Prakash: nhi bhabhi….abhi ek room baki hai…(no bhabhi…one room is left…)
Sonakshi: kaunsa room(which room)…
And the things went awkward…they shared an eyelock….Dev’s phone ring
Dev: I will just come in a moment…
Dev leaves and Sonakshi heads towards his room…
Dev after completeing his call…comes back but doesn’t find Sonakshi there…he moves to his room…and finds her standing…in the balcony of his room…
Dev:hmmm…Shall we leave…
Sonakshi: just a sec….please
Dev moves to the balcony…
Sonakshi: I loved the house…really beautiful
Dev: thanks..
Sonakshi: but I didn’t get one thing clear….why you asked me to do the interiors…
Dev: even you didn’t answer me one thing…
Sonakshi: what..?
Dev moves closer to her and she steps back…
Dev: jab maa ne kha ki…sirf 2 hafte bache hain..tumhe farak pda?….(when mom said…only 2 weeks are left…did that effect you..?)
Dev was capturing her nerves….
And she was not even able to do an eye contact…
Prakash: chaliye sir…apke room bhi ho gya…(ok sir…your room is also done…)
And with his entry they moved away….
Dev(in low voice): yeh aadmi bhabhi bolta rehega….ya banane bhi dega…(this man will only call her bhabhi…or will let to make her…)
Sonakshi: apne kuch kha…(did you said something..)
Dev:no …lets go!
Sonakshi and Dev leaves…
Now they spend lot of time together…since satakshi is out of town…Sonakshi used to have her lunches and dinners with dev…In between their working hours they used to have their coffees and lot of fun together….With this they came very close….sometimes even while talking dev used to grip her hand…holds her hand while walking on roads…he used to do it unintentionally and she knows that very well…that her 2D has yet not realized his feeling…
GOLDEN JUBLIEE CELEBRATION LIFE LINE HOSPITAL….
Dev and Sonakshi walks hand in hand…it was never like dev wanted to tell her reason behind holding her…. like the most priceless possession of his ….and she also never asked…and when anybody else asked….he only tell them that they are just good friends…And that leaves Sonakshi a bit sad…that he can never understand nor his neither her feelings…but yet happy that he is with her…
Dev was wearing a light pink shirt and black pants while Sonakshi was in a Sea Green color dress upto her knees….
Satakshi was also going to return from her home town…and was going to come in party at any moment….sonakshi was hell excited to see her friend returning…
The song plays…Tu sang mere
Dev who was already holding sona’s hand…ask her for the dance…
Sonakshi smiles at it and moves with him to the dance floor…
By now everyone in the hospital know that very well…that however they refuse that they are not dating each other…but the chemistry between them is always sparkling….
