Dev, the cardiologist
It been two 2 months only of his stay at the LIFE LINE….
But these 2 months have changed him a lot…. He jokes, smiles and yah ! he started loving someone….
This is his last day at the hospital he is leaving for his home tomorrow…and he wants to complete all the pending work…
Dev: Ab aur der nhi kar sakta…..ab aaj tumhe kah dunga….sab kah dunga….dil ki kitaab….tumhare samne khol dunga…(I can’t delay it anymore…I will tell you today…everything…i will open the book of my heart in front of you…)
He walks from hospital Lobby… Yeh Lamhe hazar se in background…
Sonakshi: Ji ! Baba mein aa jaungi….(yah ! baba i will come..)
Dev enters like he is going to miss his train….so much excited !
Dev: Dr. Bose !!
She puts down her phone….she have tears in her eyes…But doesn’t turn to look into his eyes…
Dev: aapse kuch kahna tha…..(i want to tell you something..)
Dev(in his mind): abhi nhi kah toh kabhi nhi kah payega….dev go for it ! (if you didn’t said it today you will not be able to say it ever……Dev go for it)
Dev: Nervous…..ahem ! aapko yaad hai(you remember)….when we met we used to fight a lot….as if i used our fights as the common reason to be with you….
Sonakshi was sobbing… don’t know what made her sob so much…
Dev just couldn’t reach to the point….
Dev: ahem ! kuch nhi….. mein baad mein baat karunga…(ahem ! nothing…i will talk to you later)
Dev turns and starts leaving….
Sonakshi turns to look at him…
Eyes red…face wet the with tears…
Sonakshi: I am getting married…
Kuch Rang Pyar Ke sad version plays…..
Tear rolled from dev’s eye…he wasn’t expecting this as reply of his incomplete proposal…
Sonakshi(in her mind): ab toh keh do dev…..jo batein reh gyi hai unkahi ! (atleast say it now dev….all those things that were left unsaid)
Dev: I wish tumhe duniya bhar ki khushiyan mile….(I wish you will get all the happiness of the world)
And he leaves…
Sonakshi breaks down…
Sonakshi: duniya bhar ki khushiyan…..khusiyan….sirf tumhare saath se hain….(all the happiness of the world…are happiness…only when i am with you)
Kya thi woh baatein jo reh gyi KAHI UNKAHI !
