Hello all This is me SAI07 with my first one shot on Kaira. First of all its Shivangi’s birthday. Wishing her a happy birthday. Now lets get to the story. All happenings as per story of YRKKH till Kartik Sirat Engagement

Its The Engagement day Of Kartik and Sirat

Kartik’s room

Kartik is sitting on the bed looking at a photo of Naira. He remembers that fateful moment when her hand slipped off his

Kartik in mind: Naira Im sorry yaar Im getting engaged only for the sake of our kids. I love only you and will always love you. Mein toh bas bachon keliye jee raha hoon warna sab kuch chodke tumhare paas aajatha

Tears drip down his cheeks without his knowledge . All their moments flash before him like they happened just now.
Kartik hugs the photograph and cries. He hears a knock on the door and looks up to see Swarna

Kartik: Maa

A mother always understands her kid without asking anything. Swarna hugs Kartik

Swarna: Kartik its time for the function. Come lets go

She takes him to the function hall. Sirat is already there along with everyone else. Kartik walks past Rhea who is staring at all this with a frown, Manish who is not at all interested to be there and Naksh who passes judgmental looks on him. Maudi and Dadi get emotional. Kartik and Sirat are brought to the centre

Dadi: Let the rituals start now

Kartik is given a ring and is about to put it in Sirat’s finger

Voice: Mr.Kartik Goenka we have a good news for you

All turn to see police officers standing there

Kartik: Whats it sir?

Police: The body you identified is not Mrs.Goenka

Kartik is shocked

Manish: How do you say so?

Police: We have found Mrs.Goenka who is very much alive now

Kartik drops the ring and runs to the officers. Kairav , Luv Kush and Akhil go with him

Kartik: Sir..where is my Naira? How is she? Why did she not contact us till now?

Police: Mr.Goenka she was found in a small village at the foothills by a medical camp team, they brought her to Udaipur and informed us

Manish: How is she now?

Police: She is bit critical sir..head injury and all. She was just now brought to Udaipur and once we verified that its her we rushed here

Kartik: Where is she?

Police: City Hospital sir

Without waiting for any reply Kartik takes his car and leaves from there. Everyone follow him. Rhea  and Sirat too join them

Hospital

Kartik rushes his ways through the corridors of the hospital as he lands with a crash on the reception table

Kartik: Where is Naira Goenka?

Receptionist: She is in the critical ward sir..on your left

Kartik runs to the critical ward. Nurses stop him

Nurse: Sir..where are you going?

Kartik: To meet my wife

Suddenly a familiar person comes there

Pinky: Kartik sir..let him in

Kartik: Nurse pinky..where is Naira?

Pinky leads Kartik to Naira who is lying unconscious with a life support system. Kartik is unable to believe his eyes as he is seeing the sight which he was longing for these many months. He goes on his knees near his Naira. His hand gently caresses her face as he feels her again. As he feels her he starts to feel himself again. He feels his heart beating for the first time in these many months. He can feel his breath as he feels his Naira breathing. For a second he panics that it may be a dream and pinches himself

Kartik: Ouch

He realises that its not a dream. He holds her hand. His heart is thanking his Krishna ji innumerable times for giving her back to him. He cries. The tears of sorrow have become tears of joy. His lips flicker to utter those words in her presence again

Kartik: Nnnnaaaiiirrraaaaa

He very well knows that she is unconscious and wont hear anything but he finds solace in calling her with her infront of him rather than talking to Naira in his imagination. With emotions overflowing he places his head near her and starts to cry harder. Crying in front of her was the most comfortable thing for him because he knows that she will always be there to wipe his tears

The doctor enters the room. He is the same person who operated her for her brain clot. He places his hand on his shoulder. He looks up at him. Within seconds he hugs him like a long lost friend

Kartik: Doctor my Naira…

Doctor understands his situation well as he had already witnessed his love for her

Doctor : Kartik dont worry she will get alright

Kartik: Then why is she unconscious ? Is she in coma?

Doctor: No Kartik ..she had partial consciousness but was unable to understand anything thats why she did not tell anyone about herself

Kartik: Why sir?

Doctor: You very well know that she had a history of brain blood clot. Due to fall there is another clot and we need to operate her

Kartik: She will get better after it na?

Doctor: My medical science may fail but not your love..she is still alive after that fall then she will definitely survive this

Naksh: Then operate her soon sir

Everyone enter the room

Doctor: Kartik we need your signature for it

Kartik: Sure

The form is signed and Naira is prepared for the surgery. Kartik walks to a corner crying. Manish goes to him. Kartik hugs Mansih

Kartik: Papa..my Naira..

Manish: Kartik dont worry Naira will get well soon

Everyone is so emotional that they forgot Sirat and Rhea

Rhea in mind: Should I feel happy that the sagaai got cancelled? Or should I feel that I wont get Kartik

Even Surekha who was very much supportive for Rhea and Kartik’s relationship has ignored her . For her their Naira is back and she won’t think of anyone in Naira’s place

Gayu on the other hand is weeping uncontrollably while she sits near Naira who is in the stretcher.
Gayu: Naira..come soon Naira…huh..I have to apologise to you for all my mistakes…will you forgive me? Will you love me

Kartik walks to Gayu

Kartik: Naira always loves her Gayu di..she will be happy that you forgave her

They share an emotional moment. Seeing everyone happy Sirat slowly walks away. She is sitting near the  reception totally lost in her world when she hears a familiar voice. Its Ranveer. She carefully overhears the conversation of Ranveer with a doctor

Doctor: Ranveer that bullet is still there..why don’t you understand that you have to come for regular checkups. You could have died when you took that bullet for her but she doesn’t even care for you

Ranveer: Sirat is my life sir..I can do anything for her. She is angry as I broke my promise of marrying her

Sirat is shocked to hear that. She walks to him.

Sirat: You took bullet for me?

Ranveer is shocked to see her. He nods with tears flowing down

Sirat holds his collar

Sirat: And you never appear before me

Ranveer: You will be angry right

Sirat: What else will I be? You broke my heart is what I was thinking. How do you expect me to know?

Ranveer: Im sorry Sirat..

She hugs him and bursts to cry

Meanwhile

Naira’s stretcher is pushed towards the theatre. Kartik who is walking with her feels a hold in his hand and looks down to see her grip in his hand. Naira who was struggling for life all alone till now , feels a known presence, the presence of her Kartik. Though unconscious she can always sense his presence around her. The hold was the last thing she felt before she fell down and now again she is feeling the hold.Kartik’s tears flow again as he realises her hold

Kartik: My sherni Im here with you. Ill not lose the hold this time. Ill not let you go away from me again. I love you

Naira is taken in. Kartik realises that kids are there too. He walks to Kairav who is struggling with several unknown emotions till now. Once his papa comes to him Kairav hugs him. Naira’s boys who were missing her like hell are praying for her now

Kartik: Kairav dont worry muma will get back soon

Sirat and Ranveer walk to them seeing whom everyone are shocked. Sirat narrates the happenings to them

Kartik: Krishnaji is so sweet that he returned the love of our lives on the same day

Sirat: Has the surgery started?

Kartik nods

Sirat : Dont worry It will definitely be successful

Ranveer: We will pray for your wife

Ranveer and Kartik share a hug. The scene freezes

Time passes by and Naira’s surgery is a success. She is brought out to the room.
Rhea: Kartik..what if Naira has a memory loss?

Kartik is shocked to hear this. Naksh comes to him

Naksh: If that happens Kartik will become Sid again

Luv and Kush: Then we will witness bhai bhabi’s love story from start

Hearing this Kartik has a smile but the tension for his Naira doesn’t leave him. He goes to Akshu who is with Sirat. He gets her in his arms

Kartik: Akshu..muma is back..

Thats what he said and Akshu who seemed to understand it starts to laugh happily. He leans forward such that their heads touch. He could feel his solace and forgets all his tensions at that time.

Few hours pass by. Nurse informs that Naira is slowly gaining consciousness. Kartik and Kairav are the firsts to race inside. Naira sees them

Naira: Kairav…

Hearing that Kairav runs to his mother . He has been yearning to hear this from her. Kartik slowly walks behind him. Naira looks at him. Their eyes lock.
Naira: Kartik..

Thats it thats what he was wanting to hear for so long..thats what  he was missing for long and as soon as he hears it he melts and tears fall down his eyes though the cheeks and to the ground. He goes on his knees and rests his head on the bed near her. Her hand caresses her boys’ heads

Naksh: Naira…

Naira: Bhai…what happened?

Akhil: See how innocently she is asking

Sirat and Ranveer are watching from a distance as they dont want to confuse Naira with a humshakal. Sirat hugs Ranveer in happiness

Meanwhile

Akshu is also desperate to meet Naira. She starts to cry grabbing all attention. Naira turns to her. Her daughter has grown up and that makes Naira realise that it has been long since she left them. And that reminds her off her last moments she remembers..falling down the cliff away from her family…Away from her Kartik’s grip. Now coming back to Akshu

Naira: Akshu..she has grown up..how long has it been?

Akhil: Months beta…difficult months without you

Kartik takes Akshu to Naira who caresses her lovingly. Akshu who was only used to her mother’s touch suddenly got exposed to Rhea  and Sirat yet  will they be their mother. She jumps joyfully as soon as she feels Naira’s touch. The Kaira family is happily together again

Weeks Later

Naira is welcomed back into the Goenka house. Once into their room Akshu gets to her mother who starts to play with her. Soon Akshu’s bhai is with their mother. Naira pampers her kids and pours her soul out to them. Akshu’s Papa locks the door and enters the room admiring his shernis and tadpole. Akshu and Kairav sleep peacefully. Kartik cuddles with Naira

Kartik: Bas Naira..dont go away anymore

Naira: I promise to never go

Kartik: And I promise to never leave you a scope to go

They sleep in each other’s arms.

Thu thu thu…lets also sleep on this note
