Hey guys this is Heera and I am gonna write a one shot story about Kaira… Hope u liked it… Plzz comment how it was… I will keep writing such one shots like this…. The storyline would be a little bit same as the serial but I will change it to the point which I would like to see it…
A party is going on… Naira comes there dressed in a beautiful black dress with hair open… Kartik gets mesmerized seeing her beauty. He goes to her and holds her hand.. He dances with her on ae dil hain mushkil song… Plays… They dance romantically.. At the end he bends on his knees and proposes to her.
Kartik:Will u marry me and let us be Kaira?
Naira gets shocked and smiles. She nods. He makes her wear a ring and they hug. Balloons ? and flowers? fall on them. Music plays… As they have an eyelock….
After the party they are sitting together..
Naira:kartik… U have proposed me but now we will not meet for 6 months because of vacation… U are joining ur dad’s business but I will not join because I am not interested in business… I am intersted in dancing..u already know.. I decided that after 6 months I will collect my degree and go abroad to accomplish my dancing career… Then how will we meet?
Kartik:I am proud of u and I want u to continue dancing… We will meet everyday and we will also go abroad together…
Naira surprisingly ask how?
Kartik says that u will know tomorrow and kisses her hand..
Its morning Naira gets dressed in a blue blouse and jeans. She comes downstairs and remembers Kartik’s words. Doorbell rings. She opens the door and gets shocked seeing Kartik with his family. Dadi gets upset seeing Naira’s dressing sense. Naira takes their blessings and smiles at Kartik. They all enter. Naitik and Akshara welcome them.
Dadi:I wont delay… Actually we came here to ask for ur daughter Naira’s hand for my Grandson Kartik….
Everyone is surprised. Dadi says that they love each other a lot. Naira is shocked and thinks marriage? She runs to her room.. Surekha says she is shy… Akshara goes to her.
Naira cries.
Naira:Mumma… I have never thought about marriage…
Akshara:if u love him then whats wrong…u had to marry one day naa..
Naira:The problem is not marriage the problem is that I am scared if I am not able to pursue my dreams of dancing…
Akshara hugs her and says that there are still 6 months left for her to start dancing… Till then she can make a place in Kartik’s family’s heart and dwell with them..
Naira:and if they dont agree to me dancing
Akshara consoles her and says they are kartik family..they will agree.. Naira smiles and hugs her. She comes to them and Akshara says that we accept this alliance.They all smile…and eat sweets. Naira smiles seeing Kartik….
Dadi’s pandit checks their kundali and says that marriage has to be done tomorrow or else after 5 years.. They all get shocked and looks on.. Dadi asks Akshara not to worry they will come with preparations and asks her to just decorate the house well.. They smile..
In the evening Dadi and family comes dressed up well for the sangeet… Guests start coming..Akshara and Naitik welcome them.. Naira comes there dressed in a beautiful silver lehenga.Kartik smiles seeing her and tells her that she is looking beautiful.. Naira shies and smiles…. The sangeet start.. All the couple dance on itni si baat and other songs… Naira bring Kartik to the dance floor and dances on Radha…. Dadi is angry seeing her dancing like this… They then dance on bolna mahi bolna…plays….all clap for them…
After the sangeet the haldi takes place…naira and Kartik sit opposite to each other and a veil is put between them.. The family members apply haldi to them… Akshara emotionally applies haldi to Naira and signs chanda mera chanda… Song… Naira hugs her… They all take selfies.. Naira goes to change..kartik pulls her into a room…
Kartik:U let everyone put u haldi and not me…
Naira: ohhh u r jealous?
She teases him and laughs…
Naira:I will not put haldi to u.. She turns and he holds her close.. She closes her eyes.. He puts haldi on her by rubbing his cheeks to hers…chukar gayi…. Plays…. She runs from there… He smiles…
Lastly the mehendi takes place.. Akshara and Karishma puts henna to her hands and feet… Akshara writes Kartik’s name on Naira’s palm. She smiles seeing the name.Akshara says that tomorrow the one who brought life into our house will not be there… She will be decorating someone’s house…Naira cries and hugs her… She says I will not go away from u… I will come to meet u everyday… I promise.. Akshara and Naitik smile and hug her… Dadi says that time is passing and asks them to appply the henna fast. A little boy comes to Naira and tells her that her friend is calling her in the balcony.. She goes and sees the decorations there… She sees Kartik and says we are not supposed to meet before wedding… He hugs her and says he is not able to bear this seperation… She smiles and says its only for tonight then we will be together forever… They dance… She then goes from there… Dadi sees that and stops Naira… She scolds her…
Dadi:I told u not to meet him before the wedding… U did not listen to me.. U r so mannerless…dont know which upbringing ur parents gave u…
Naira cries:Dadi!! U cant judge my parents like that..
She folds her hand and says u can scold me but do not say anything about my parents.. Swarna comes and takes Naira from there… Dadi says batameez ladki(Insolent girl)…
Its marriage day Akshara decorates the mandap… She then goes to Naira and gives her the bridal dress…
Akshara:U always said that u wanted to wear this and I always asked u to wait for the right time.. Today that time has come…today I want u to be my shadow… Naira hugs her emotionally… She asks her to wait she will make her ready… She goes to bring Kalirey and Chura… Dadi enters with a plate and tells that it is their tradditional bridal dress and its a custom to make their daughter in law wear it.. She gives her the plate and goes… Naira is shocked and looks at both the dresses… Akshara comes back and looks at Naira emotionally.. She wore Akshara’s dress….
Akshara:U r looking soo beautiful… Prettier than I was looking at my wedding…
She makes her wear jewelleries… Bindi… And bangles…
Akshara:Today they are also going to become ur family.. Make them happy alongwith us… U will have to make small sacrifices and tests to make ur bond and relations stronger with them… But remember not at the cost of ur dignity, honour and respect… And remember to fulfill ur dreams….
Naira hugs her and they cry….
Akshara brings Naira downstairs with Naitik… Kartik gets mesmerized seeing her…. Dadi gets shocked seeing her not wearing the bridal dress she brought… Naira goes to her and apologizes saying that it was her mother’s wish to wear this dress… Dadi smiles fakely and sits.. Naira sits besides Kartik.. He holds her hand… The marriage starts.. They exchange garlands.. Pandit asks them to do her kanyadaan… Dadi gets up and says that it is a ritual in them that dadi has to do the kanyadaan… Naira is shocked… Naira stops her with tesry eyes and says that they have only one daughter and ask her not to snatch this right from them…she says my mumma papa will do my kanyadaan…Kartik also says that Naitik and Akshara has more right on Naira than us…. Dadi is angry and thinks she will take revenge for humiliating her… Swarna goes to Akshara and Naitik and folds hands.
Swarna:Kanyadaan is the biggest daam that a person can do… I want u both to do this… They do her kanyadaan.. Naira cries.. They take pheras.. Kartik makes her wear mangalsutra and fills her maang with sindoor.Naira cries happily and hugs him… They all smile…
Bidaai is done… Naira hugs the family and cries vigorously… Akshara and Naitik says that they have to go somewhere urgent for 2 months so when they will return… They will perform the pag phere ritual… Naira and Kartik go in a car.. Dadi greets them and sit in car thinking now Naira will know the result of insulting me….
Naira’s grah pravesh is done… She enters the house… Dadi asks Kartik go to she has to talk to Naira… She shuts the door..
Dadi:Now that u r married u have to stop doing ur daughter ‘s duty and focus on us now… Forget ur mayka and focus on ur sasural… Forget ur parents because we are ur family now…
Naira is shocked and cries…
Naira:Dadi… I married Kartik so as to join new relations… But not to break old relations… How can I forget the one who has given me birth… They are more important than u all… I am sorry to say but if I have to choose between u too families… I will always choose my family over u…my dad said that after marriage I will stay there only but I was worried about ur respect about ur dignity… U say that daughter in law are the honour of the house then how can u control the honour…
She leaves the room… Dadi is shocked and thinks she has to do something to control her…
Naira comes to room and keeps thinking about Dadi’s words. She sees Kartik and thinks I will solve my problems myself.. I will not tell him anything… He romances with with her and they consummate their marriage…. Its morning…Kartik gets ready and goes to the office… Naira gets dressed in her casual clothes and comes downstairs.. Dadi scolds her and gives her a saree to wear… Naira was about to Reply her but stops remembering Akshara’s words to gain them by love and patience and thinks they will have to love her for her kindness and not rudeness… She takes the saree and comes wearing it… Swarna blesses her… Dadi asks her to to do the cooking ritual… She gets tensed thinking if she will pass in the cooking…She goes to the kitchen and prepares food… After sometimes she brings it to Dadi… She tastes it and likes it… She gives her nek.. Naira smiles and takes her blessings.. She goes to room.
Naira:Let me practice a little.. She wears ghungroos and dances and smiles… Dadi passes by and gets shocked seeing her dancing…she stops the music throw away her ghungroos and slaps her… Naira cries and asks why did u insult my ghungroos?
Dadi:Good girls dont dance with ghungroos like this…. Stop this
Naira informs her about her dream and that after 6 months she is going… Dadi is shocked and thinks she will not stop if I tell her… I have to do something… She brings her to the hall and makes her sit in a big thing like bath tub… She then pours cold water on her… Naira shouts and gets up… Dadi says that she will do her shuddikaran as she doesnt want nachaniya bahu… Swarna tries to speak but Dadi shushes her… Kartik comes and asks whats happening.. He covers Naira and scolds Dadi… He takes her in the room and apogizes to her… She hugs him and cries…
Naira:Will I be able to achieve my dreams…
Kartik:Yess…..
After 3 months…dadi continues to torture Naira…All the tortures are shown summarised… She stops her from going to her mayka. Naira cries… Dadi destroys her ghungroos and laughs… Naira cries vigorously seeing this… She hugs the burnt ghungroos… Dadi stops her from interfering in Kartik’s business… Dadi even locks her in kitchen and asks her to prepare food till evening… Naira cooks food and burns her hand.. She cries.. She knocks on the door shouting she got burnt.. Open the door… Dadi smirks and stops everyone from opening the door… Swarna cries seeing this…. Dadi gets angry on Naira and throws water on her face and slaps her… Naira cries vigorously again…..Naira tries to dance and Dadi throws hot coal in her way… She burns her feet and cries… She shouts in pain… She shouts to Dadi asking why is she doing this… She sees Kartik coming and hugs him… She tells him all what happened… Kartik doesnt believe her… She gets shocked and continues to cry…
The day comes… Naira gets a call that her ticket has been booked and she can board a plane to enter dance coaching class… She gets happy… She informs Kartik on call… Dadi hears this and gets shocked and angry… Naira happily packs her bags… She changes into a blouse and pants and goes in the hall… Dadi asks her where is she going… She says to dance… Dadi gets angry and shouts at her… Naira is surprised… Dadi thows her luguage and asks her to go to room… She cries and apologizes to Dadi by folding her hand that today she will not stop… Dadi asks her to call Kartik she will get her response… She calls Kartik and says that Dadi is stopping her from going…. Kartik says okk then tomorrow or day after tomorrow they will go… Till then he will convince dadi… Dadi smiles hearing this… Naira says but I wont get the chance tomorrow… Today is last day… Kartik asks her not to go or else Dadi will get angry… She cries and cuts the call… She breaks down… Dadi ask her to get lost in her room… Naira remembers Akshara’s words that she musnt lose her respect honour and dignity… She wipes her tears and tells Dadi that she is worse than hitler… She regrets that she married here… Om mangalam… Plays… She takes her bag amd walks towards the door… Dadi says that if she steps outside she will never be able to come back… She turns and says that if this marriage will stop me… Then…she removes her mangalsutra and keeps it in Dadi’s hand…. She wipes her sindoor and goes… Dadi is shocked and looks on….
