Chapter 12
The Cuddling.
Naira couldn’t get out of the sleepy haze even after the alarm went off. She drew her arms tight on her teddy bear.
She remembered having it in her room, at Singhania sadan but she didn’t remember bringing it to Goenka mansion. Also her teddy bear used to be all soft and cuddly but suddenly it had turned all hard.
She had her left thigh and half of her legs tangled with it. Her wondering turned into confussion. Her enquiring right hand moved down on the teddy bear. Muscles ?!! How did her teddy bear have muscles ?!!
Slowly her fingers moved more down and froze altogether. Hip bone ?!!
Naira’s eyes flew open and she scrambled off the bed. Her bleery eyes blinked several times before opening.
A gasp escaped her lips as she saw Karthik sprawled on the bed next to her.Both of his hands were under his head. Giving more detailing to his eight packs.
He was shirtless and only had cotton shots on. She couldn’t help but drool over her husband’s body. He really was a greek god. She leaned in to check whether he was still asleep and found his eyes closed.
She could feel his light breathing and she suddenly grew soft towards him as shantanu Bhai’s words from last night played in her ears.
Karthik surely had a bad past. He has went through a lot. She should not add more trouble to his life. He has had his share of pain and she need not give him more, if not lessen the already exsisting one.
But then even Naira had been wronged. She was married to him without her consent. Though she had accepted this relation now, but that didn’t mean that she had accepted him as her husband.
Yes, she liked him. But she didn’t love him yet. Also Karthik was still carrying the luggage of his past.
From what she could decipher, he was still hurt because of what Gayatri did to him. Though he hated her but he was still very much hurt. That hurt wouldn’t go unless and until he forgave her and moved on from her. Naira would only then start afresh with him.
She decided that she would not accept him or come to terms with him being her husband unless and until he was completely over his past. They needed to write a new love story which didn’t have a backstory as its prologue.
When she was done with drooling over her husband’s hot body and making decisions about her future married life, she immediately tried to get up but fell back on the bed. She turned around only to see her duppata under her husband’s arm.
She carefully freed herself from his grip and got out of the bed. Her foot was still sore because of the wound but it was much better than what it had been before.
She took out her clothes and limped towards the bathroom. She took a cold shower and that’s when she remembered that her mumma had called both of them for lunch today.
She needed to talk to him about this. She also wondered what was so special today ?!! Was she forgetting some birthday or anniversary ?!! because her mumma had seemed quite excited on the phone while inviting her. Well she would find out soon, she thought.

Also peeps finally kaira are officialy married. I know it was dragged too much but I enjoyed every minute of the Wedding track. It was refreshing to watch all the happy moments and kaira romance after a hard day at college.
I really felt proud to be a Yrkkh fan since the wedding sequence was all happy go lucky moments with no villans involved and no bride-groom swapping or all that unnecessary drama. Can’t wait for the story to move forward now.
Want aditya’s truth to be out before the family. He should be out of Keerti’s life before the start of her love story with Naksh. Can’t deny the fact that both Rishi Dev and Mohena Singh are wonderful actors and their chemistry is also good. Already a Keesh fan !!
