Chapter 32
Parents are the best persons in our life !!
Manish stood up from his chair when he heard heavy steps approaching his study. Karthik walked in and hugged his father tightly, shocking him to the core.
“What happened ?!!” Manish asked. His voice had overflowing concern.
“Parents are always right papa. Everything they do is just for the betterment of their children.” Karthik said, confusing Manish more.
“Are you okay ?!!” Manish asked again.
“Thanks for choosing Naira as my life partner.” Karthik said with a smile.
Manish stood still for a moment and then a small proud smile came on his face as well.
“I know.” Manish said.
“My choice went wrong unlike Keerti Dii but your choice will not go wrong papa, never.” Karthik assured him.
“I know Karthik. I am happy if you are happy.” Manish replied.
“Yeah, only she can make me happy because making her smile all the time is my goal now.” Karthik said more to himself than to his dad.
Manish smiled inwardly but his eyes got moist because he always knew that he will never go wrong. Karthik left the study to got to office.
Karthik gave a smile to Naira before leaving for office. Naira frowned at his weird bright smile and brushed off his gaze when she saw that it had some strong emotion in them. She joined the rest of the family who were sitting in the living room.
“Maa !! We should go for shopping today.” Keerti said totally excited.
“No way. The designer will come at home. You will get tired in Mall.” Suvarna said.
“Convince my Maa. Please Bhabi.” Keerti whispered to Vrushika. Vrushika bhabi just shrugged in return.
Keerti just glanced around the room pouting but her eyes widened with happiness when she saw her husband.
“Naaaksh !!” She sang which almost startled Naksh who was reading the newspaper.
“What ?!!” He asked surprised.
Keerti approached him batting her lashes and said, “Do you remember, that you once promised to take us shopping ?!!”
“When ?!!” Naksh asked. He tried to act innocent. After all it was a death trap to go shopping with the ladies.
“Don’t try to act innocent. I know that you remember it, so fulfill your promise, now.” Keerti huffed cutely.
Naksh opened his mouth in shock at Keerti’s command. Naira burst out into fits of laughter watching her bhai and bhabi. Naksh raised his hands in defence.
“That’s the last thing I want to do today.” Naksh said.
“Oh really ?!!” Keerti asked in a warning tone.
This time Naksh took the tone seriously and sighed before grabbing his wallet and credit cards. He walked out of the house towards the car while Keerti, Suvarna, Vrushika and Naira followed.
After 20 minutes, all the ladies reached the mall with Naksh. As soon as Naira got out of the car, her eyes gleamed with happiness seeing Karthik waiting for them at the other end of the parking lot.
“What are you doing here ?!!” She asked as soon as they reached where Karthik was standing.
“I called him, you know, I really don’t want to get bored.” Naksh answered from behind.
Karthik smiled at her and the boys along with the ladies walked into the mall.
They took nearly three hours to select one lehenga for Keerti and one saree for Vrushika and Suvarna each. Naira was still searching for something she liked.
“What’s wrong with you ?!! You were never so fussy about clothes ?!! You hardly spent 5 minutes selecting a dress.” Naksh asked his sister.
“Its nothing like that bhai. I am just confused.” Naira answered. How was she supposed to explain her bhai that now she had a husband to impress.
Naira wrapped two sarees on each of her shoulders and glanced at herself in the mirror to select one but suddenly her gaze fell on Karthik who was at the opposite counter.
She saw him talking to the sales girl holding a blue color saree but he soon dropped it and left the place ignoring the sales girl’s words. Naira wondered what had gone wrong.
“I want to check on the other counter.” Naira said and walked to where Karthik had been a moment ago.
Naira bought the blue saree Karthik had been talking to the sales girl about and the whole gang went back home tired from all the shopping.

Firstly, I am sorry for the late update. But I have been busy the whole day and got some free time only now to update this Chapter. Hope you all liked it.
The next Chapter will have an Awstruck Karthik by Naira’s beauty and also a cute kaira and keesh moment. Also the next Chapter will have the revelation as to why Naitik forced Naira into marrying Karthik. The promise that Manish was talking about will be revealed in the next Chapter.
Also the Goa trip is on. I will not be scrapping it from the track. Naira, Karthik, Naksh and Keerti will be going to Goa after the Godh Bharai function. So stay tuned. Lots of drama coming your way.
