Kanwar Dhillon, a beloved face in the television industry, has earned a special place in the hearts of audiences through his memorable portrayals in various top TV serials. Notably, his role as Shiva Pandya in the serial Pandya Store garnered significant acclaim, becoming one of the most iconic characters of his career and the show itself. However, after two years of embodying Shiva Pandya, Kanwar Dhillon bid farewell to the show along with other cast members as it underwent a leap, paving the way for new faces to take over Pandya Store.
Moving forward, Kanwar Dhillon swiftly transitioned to another project, Udne Ki Aasha, where he stars alongside Ayesha Singh as Sai from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, in what is described as a cameo role. In a recent interview with Etimes, Kanwar Dhillon disclosed that he was initially slated to be part of Mera Balam Thanedaar. However, a last-minute change led to Shangun Pandey being cast instead. Despite having already commenced preparations for Mera Balam Thanedaar while still shooting for Pandya Store, Kanwar Dhillon embraced the unforeseen turn of events with optimism.
Reflecting on the situation, Kanwar Dhillon expressed gratitude for the opportunities that arose, noting that had he been committed to Mera Balam Thanedaar, he would have missed out on the chance to be part of Udne Ki Aasha. Embracing the challenge, he underwent physical transformations and dedicated himself to his role as Sachin in Udne Ki Aasha, even growing his hair to fit the character’s persona. With the series debuting on Star Plus from March 12, Kanwar Dhillon’s portrayal of Sachin has already captured the admiration of audiences, leaving them eager to witness the unfolding story of Udne Ki Aasha.
