Insanely popular Kapil Sharma is going to be back on TV with the new season of his show. He is back from his international tour and was recently seen walking the ramp for the Beti Fashion Show where he interacted with paps. In his interaction with the media he reacted to the ‘boycott trend’ against Bollywood which is prevalent these days on Twitter.
The comedian was asked what he thinks about online trolls boycotting recent films. To this Kapil said, “Pata nahi sir, mein itna intellectual aadmi nahi hun. Meri abhi apni film aayi nahi hai. Par ye trend vrend chalte rehte hai. Ye sab waqt ki baat hoti hai. (I do not know, I am not an intellectual person. I do not have a film release for now. But, these trends keep coming. It is just a matter of time).”
Kapil was also quizzed about his favourite Akshay Kumar’s film being targetted by Twitter trolls. He replied, “Maine to nahi suna unki koi movie boycott hui. Sir, ye Twitter ki duniyaa se mujhe door rakho. Mai badi mushkil se nikla hoon (I have not heard any boycott against his films. Please let me stay away from the world of Twitter, I have come out of it with great difficulty).”
Kapil is all set to return to the small screen with a new season of The Kapil Sharma Show. He recently posted his new look on social media which was widely appreciated by his fans. There was another post with Arachana Puran Singh which he captioned as, “Always fun shooting with my lucky charm @archanapuransingh ❤️ #tkss #behindthescenes.”
This time around Krushna Abhishek, who played Sapna, is not going to return to the show. A source associated with the show told us, “The makers and Krushna tried their best to work things out. One of the major concerns was the fee. Eventually, monetary differences prompted him to leave TKSS. However, we are hoping that the differences get resolved in due course of time and Krushna returns to the show. We are not ruling out the possibility yet.”
