Recently he halted the press conference of his upcoming show Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal when his co-star Reem Shaikh hinted it to him that Azaan is going on. He was so respectful towards her religion that he has been on the receiving end of all the praises on the internet. He asked the media to wait for two minutes till the Azaan was on and then they shall continue.
A fan page shared a video from the press conference where Karan is talking about how spectacular it is to shoot but Reem Sheikh interrupts him and says that Azaan is being observed nearby. Karan went on to say, “Should we just pause for a minute? Azaan ke liye, azaan ke liye? Do minute bus (the azaan takes about two minutes).” They were then witnessed being silent for an extended period of time.”
When the video was shared on social media, the fans were all praises for Karan. Fans commented on the video praising Karan and his beautiful gesture. They wrote, “Aise bhi Hindu h bhai India me Dil jeet liya sir”.
