Karuna Pandey Opens Up About Challenging Scenes in ‘Pushpa Impossible’
Actress Karuna Pandey, who plays the titular role in the television series ‘Pushpa Impossible,’ recently shared her experience of filming demanding scenes that pushed her boundaries, offering fans insight into the level of dedication required to bring Pushpa to life.
In a recent episode, viewers witnessed Karuna’s character, Pushpa, suffering injuries to both her hands due to a machine mishap as a result of Viren’s (Hemant Kher) sinister plan. Despite her injuries, Pushpa remained determined to accomplish her mission, with her palms heavily bandaged.
However, working on these scenes proved to be a challenge for the actress, as performing with bandaged hands was extremely difficult.
Reflecting on the filming experience in a recent interview, Karuna shared the challenges she faced while shooting sequences that required her to prepare chai, rotis, and engage in physically demanding scenes despite her injuries.
Karuna said, “Immersing myself fully into a character means making it come alive on screen. After portraying Pushpa for over a year, I’ve truly embraced her character. I conducted extensive research and drew inspiration from individuals who face similar challenges in their daily lives. When filming the scenes where Pushpa injures both her hands, acting with both hands wrapped in bandages was challenging. However, what was truly inspiring was portraying Pushpa’s strength and optimism in the face of adversity. Even on set, with my hands wrapped in bandages, I found ways to use my elbow to operate my phone.”
Karuna Pandey’s dedication to her role in ‘Pushpa Impossible’ demonstrates the lengths actors go to in order to bring their characters to life on screen.
