Kasam – Tere Pyaar Ki actress Pranitaa Pandit has a new address now. The actress and her husband along with their two-year-old daughter have moved to Goa. Pranitaa moved there around five months ago.
The actress talked about it during a recent interview and shared, “We have bought a villa in North Goa. We decided to redo it according to our taste. There’s a lot of chaos and pressure in Mumbai. I feel that my daughter, Anysha, will actually receive a more holistic atmosphere in Goa. She loves it here and indulges in a lot of activities, like going to the beach. She’s a water baby. While she is growing up, a quiet life seemed a good idea without much exposure. We feel closer to nature and also get a lot of quality time to spend with her, which was a tad difficult in Mumbai.”
While the decision may have been taken overnight, Pranitaa has no plans of quitting the showbizz. She shared, “Given how fickle our industry is, work is the only thing I’m anxious about. An actor is easily replaceable. I was raring to get back to work after losing postpartum weight, and suddenly, we decided to shift. Everything happened so quickly that even before I realized it, I was in Goa. However, I am certain about continuing to work. I may not be up for a daily soap because it demands a long commitment, but I look forward to exploring OTT. At this stage, I need to balance my personal and professional life since I need to spend time with Anysha as well. Besides, I have a very supportive husband, who always encourages me to get back to work and chase my dreams. We share the responsibility of our child equally.”
She added, “We haven’t sold our flat in Mumbai because we will be shuttling between Mumbai and Goa depending on my duty calls (smiles). I would love to travel to Mumbai for work and come back to this peaceful life in Goa.”
Pranitaa is in love with Goa. She said, “Though I miss the chaos of Mumbai at times, a proper work-life balance is a prerequisite for a healthy mind and life. That is the reason I chose to move away. Many people have moved here from Delhi and Mumbai. I have reconnected with my friends and quite funnily, I have met more friends in Goa who keep visiting the city than I would in Mumbai. We could hardly make time to spend time with friends.”
