Kashi tells Ganga that I have to be punished in Krishna’s place. Baji comes there. Kashi is getting ready to stand on death row. Ganga comes to Kashi and says this is injustice, all women are with Kashi. She goes from there. Kashi takes the noose and asks the guard if she can look at her family before dying? Baji asks what is she doing? Kashi says I am accepting your punishment, you said if Krishna doesn’t come back till the morning then I would be punished in his place. I have decided that I won’t get any special treatment and have chosen the death penalty for myself. She leaves from there. Baji looks on.

Kashi comes to her room and sees Ganga crying. She hugs her and says you are brave. Ganga says will you die like this? Kashi says I trust Krishna

to come back. Ganga says he is a coward and might not come back. Kashi cries and says I don’t have a choice. She promises Ganga that Krishna will be punished for his deeds but if he doesn’t come back then I will bear this punishment. Ganga says can’t you understand what can happen? Radha comes there and asks Ganga to leave. She leaves. Radha tells Kashi that I don’t think you should get punished because of your brother. Kashi says I trust Krishna to come back. Radha says it doesn’t matter but the history will write that Baji killed his wife. Your stubbornness will make my son look like a killer. Kashi laughs and says I really thought you care for me but I understand you care about your son’s honor. Radha says you just want everyone to think that you are a great woman but what will we answer to Shahu and your parents? Kashi says I promise to not malign your son’s honor. Radha says it’s useless to talk to you. She leaves.

The women arrive at the palace to talk to Baji. He comes there and asks what is going on? The women say this is injustice against Kashi. If she gets killed then we will burn ourselves. They chant for her name. Kashi comes there and says thank you for showing love for me but justice has to be served irrespective of who is the criminal. I didn’t do anything wrong but I couldn’t stop my brother in time so I should get punished if he ran away. I am sure that my brother will return by the morning and nothing will happen to me. everyone chants for Kashi. Kashi says I want you all to promise to be with me and go back home. If Krishna doesn’t return and I get punished then promise me to always respect your Peshwa, it’s not easy for him but he has to do this justice. It’s a testing time for him also. The women plead with her to let them stay here for tonight so they can pray for her. Baji agrees.

All women pray for Kashi in the palace and hug her. They all cry. Baji looks at them and thinks what is this feeling? I am not feeling any pain or anger but I am feeling restless and jittery.

Radha comes to Kashi and prays to Lord. Ganga hugs Kashi and cries. Radha glares at them and leaves. Baji has called Kashi.

Kashi comes to Baji and asks if he called her? Baji says I am ready to give you another chance. If you say sorry and request in front of everyone to lessen your brother’s punishment. Kashi says there is nothing to debate about anymore. You have decided on this punishment because you doubted me, you announced this punishment for me. You called me a traitor so I should be punished. If you can’t trust me then there is nothing more to prove. Kashi tries to leave but Baji grabs her and says I want to save you, can’t you understand that? Kashi looks on.

Precap: Man asks Kashibai what is your last wish? She says I want my execution to be done by my husband Bajirao. Bajirao puts the noose around Kashibai’s neck.
