Scene 1
Kashi is feeding the horse and recalls Baji asking for her help, Ganga comes there and says I want to do your aarti as you won your first fight. Kashi says people will make fun of me if you are doing my aarti, she thinks I will do anything to win Baji’s love.
Baji is angry, Radha comes there and says you don’t need to be alone anymore. Baji says I can’t lose against anyone now, I have tried a lot to forgive Kashi but I couldn’t. I wanted her to leave but she asked me for 7 days in place of 7 years of wait, I put some conditions in front of her but I lost 2 of my conditions, I don’t have any feelings for her and want her to leave. Radha says I look at her face daily and remember how we lost your baba because of her. I know you feel the same
Ganga tells Kashi that you have to win this fight. Kashi says I will because I love Baji a lot.
In the morning, Baji is beating a man because he went against the rules. Chimaji and Krishna look on. The man cries and asks what’s my fault? Baji says you should keep an eye on who is coming and leaving the city, you should have known who was plotting against me but you didn’t know as your spy. He throws the man away. Baji looks at Krishna and asks if you knew I was going to the mandir? Did you get any information from the culprit? He says no. Baji tells Chimaji and Krishna to find out who is the attacker.
Scene 2
Shahu and his mother arrive at Saswad. Baji meets him and Shahu says you are back after 7 years so I want to announce you as a Peshwa formally. Baji bows to him. Shahu’s mother tells Kashi that you spent 7 years apart from him too, we have heard good things about you also. She gifts her some bangles and says I got it blessed from the mandir, this will bind you with Baji for lives. She asks Baji to make her wear the bangles. Baji looks on and recalls about his conditions. Radha glares at Kashi and tells Shahu that it would be good if he makes her wear bangles after aarti. Shahu’s mother Rajmata says you are right, she asks Radha if you take care of Kashi? She was all alone for 7 years. Kashi says Radha takes care of me a lot, I will make some food for you. Kashi thinks I will make Baji’s favorite food.
The spy tells his men that Shahu shouldn’t leave alive from here. Baji will not spare me if he catches me.
Kashi is making food, Ganga asks if she is cooking for Rajmata or someone else? Kashi says I am cooking for everyone. Ganga says his condition was to not eat your food. Kashi says we will see. Radha comes there and says you both are wasting time? She asks the cook to make some other food for Baji. She says Kashi’s food won’t be served to Baji as he doesn’t like it. Radha tells Kashi that I feel bad for you but you know Baji is focused on his conditions, you will have to leave to your parents’ house soon. Kashi asks Kaviri to help her with cooking. Radha nods at her and Kaviri deliberately throws Kashi’s food. Radha smirks and tells Kashi to not be late for aarti. Radha leaves. Ganga says how will we cook again in such less time?
All family members are starting aarti. Rajmata asks where is Kashi? Radha says she is busy in cooking as she doesn’t usually cook so it’s taking her time. The aarti starts. Ganga thinks to go and check on her.
Kashi tries to leave the kitchen but all doors are locked. Ganga comes there and asks her to come for the aarti. Kashi runs to the mandir but aarti is done. Rajmata asks Baji to make her wear the bangles now. Kashi smiles at him. Baji says I won’t be able to do it, he shows the bandage on his hand and says I hurt my hand when practicing. Kashi says but he can use his left hand and Radha can touch the bangles to bless me. Shahu says she is right. Baji and Radha make her wear the bangles. Kashi takes Radha’s blessings. She touches Baji’s feet but he looks away.
