Kashi says to everyone that Keshav came to her room and misbehaved with her but she asked him to leave. Then what happened she can’t be able to remember. Keshav says now that the truth is out she should not hide about her feelings for him. She has the right to love someone else too. She says if Baji learns what he did it to her, he won’t spare her. She is sure he will get exposed soon and then she will refuse to forgive him and it will cost his life as he hurt a woman’s honor. He will be punished for his deed. Keshav says his love is not a crime for him, everyone calls him a liar and tries to beat him but Kashi stops them.
Radha says Keshav did wrong by accusing a Peshwin but since Peshwin has been accused she can’t decide to punish him, King Shahu will take decision. Keshav
Kashi adds she will wait for the day when Keshav will get punished and his words will be proved as false. She will give the test of her love for Bajirao. Mastani enters Baji’s tent to give him food. Baji says only one thing is praiseworthy about Mastani that’s her beauty. But she should prove that she is a brave warrior in true sense.
Mastani says she doesn’t know whether it’s a compliment from him or not. She gives him food saying she thanked him in this way. He says he loved the way she risked her life for her parents, this is beauty for him more than her face. He enjoys eating the food and says she should confess her feelings to her lover, she says she wants him to feel the urge like her. Till then she won’t reveal anything to him. He says she will get her love for sure. She says she is really stubborn.
Kashi feels like something is wrong and she is losing her bond with Bajirao. She says those earlier bad signs made her more nervous. But she calms herself saying everything is fine and she won’t be weak. Bhavani asks Kashi not to leave for Satara in this state. Long journey is not good for her health. Kashi says but she can’t lose her Peshwin’s post as she worked hard to get it. Bangash Khan plans a war against Bajirao saying he will be there to finish him. They have lots of soldiers and Baji can’t defeat them all alone. He doesn’t have enough soldiers left after saving Mastani.
Baji decides to fight alone and says noone will fight from his right side. Mastani says she will be on his right side. He says that’s not a joke, she has to earn that place as many efficient soldiers deserve to be there instead of her. She says she is ready to prove herself. He says the she will fight one of his greatest soldiers. She says she will face Bajirao as she is equal to him, she can’t be compared with other soldiers. Baji accepts her wish and says he will fight the battle being her Senapati if she wins over him. She agrees. He says he won’t accept any further request from her side.
