Kashish Duggal on Sapnon Ki Chhalaang going off-air; says, “I was taken aback”
Kashish Duggal expresses her surprise and disappointment as her TV show, “Sapnon Ki Chhalaang,” is set to go off air after just a few months since its launch in April. Kashish, who portrays the character of Suman Yadav in the show, shares her thoughts on the sudden conclusion of the series.
The actress talked about it in a recent interview and shared, “When I got to know about our show wrapping up so soon, I was taken aback for a moment. It’s truly disheartening for the entire team when a show comes to an end within a few months. We were all shocked because we didn’t anticipate it happening this soon. I’m unsure of what went wrong because, ultimately, we must remember that the fate of a show is beyond any actor’s control.”
Kashish further added, “Even after being in the industry for a long time and being aware of its uncertainties, it still breaks my heart to bid farewell to such an amazing show. I received a positive response from the audience, and my character, Suman Yadav, became a significant part of my life. It was an incredible experience being a part of the show and collaborating with such a dedicated team.”
Apart from “Sapnon Ki Chhalaang,” Kashish Duggal has also been part of other notable shows such as “Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2,” “Hari Mirch Lal Mirch,” “Jyoti,” “Baal Gopal Kare Dhamal,” “Hello Pratibha,” “Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke,” “Sargam Ki Sadhe Satii,” and “Sapno se Bhare Naina.” She has also showcased her talent in films like “Koi Mil Gaya,” “Kisna,” “Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se,” and “Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain.”
Despite the show’s unexpected conclusion, Kashish emphasizes that it won’t deter her from pursuing future opportunities. She said, “Life is about making attempts even after facing setbacks. So, I will continue to strive in the future, without dwelling on the results or giving up on my aspirations.”
