Katha waits for Ahsan. He comes in, she wonders if Viaan came with him. Ahsan assures that Viaan didn’t come. Viaan and Ahsan’s bonding had Katha in doubt, she thought they were married. Katha asks Ahsan’s calling her. He wonders what made her leave since everyone in the office and clients are happy and satisfied with Katha. She questions him for bringing up work. Ahsan wants Katha to stay in his life, as friend who doesn’t drink and can do his part time work. Katha is already friends with Ahsan. He calls her to make a ritual. She has to put her hand on the mug and take an oath to share all her issues, happiness and problem with him, share what happened in Dubai. Katha stops as it isn’t necessary.
Mr. Garewal is working with his son. Reet comes to Kavita, asks her about the family
Katha enter her home to find Arav talking to his grandmother who brought him dozens of gifts. She hugs Kavita. Arav tells Katha about Kavita’s birthday celebration where he will cut cake with her. Celebration is just an excuse to call Katha home. They may have not been with her in difficult times but is sorting things out. She will bring together Aditya’s family. Kavita gets a call from Mr. Garewal. She tells that he is calling to ask if Katha will come or not. He sent her here today to invite Katha. Kavita takes her leave asking Katha to come, she will desperately wait for her. Neerja will not be excused for getting a call. Arav leaves to open his gifts. Katha sits down, Neerja copies Katha. She asks Katha to tell what is wrong with her. Katha tells that she has a past issues with her father-in-law. Neerja convinces Katha to go or consider Mr. Garewal an arrogant person who blames his Katha for everything. Katha agrees. Neerja informs Katha about stopping Arav from not playing with other kids who kicked him out of the team. Katha clarifies, Arav has yearned to play when he couldn’t. He is not as good as the other kids; she cannot expect kids to show maturity. Neerja directs that towards Mr. Garewal. He is a status conscious old man who would have found Katha (a middle class girl) fit for her son. Above that he is also in pain for losing a son, Katha cannot expect something good from him. Mr. Garewal didn’t help Katha when she needed him the most, she tried to help Aditya but couldn’t save him. She agrees with Kavita that family can not stay apart for long. She will let Arav go to the party.
Viaan’s mother informs him about Kavita’s birthday celebration they are invited to. She tries to help Viaan remember how he knows her. Viaan’s employees asks him to sign some cheques. He stops after reading Katha’s name on the cheque. She insists Viaan to come with her to the party. Viana tries to resist but she keeps calling how their life has become boring. Viaan agrees to go with her. He will be her and Farha’s plus one, the most handsome plus one in party. She asks Viaan to complete his work while she selects a Saree for herself.
Neerja clicks Arav’s picture. She asks Arav not to be notorious at the party. He will be meeting with his grandfather and must behave there. Arav asks Katha to get ready. Katha cannot go; she has a lot to do. Arav questions, it will be his first time meeting the Garewal family. They cannot give up as he made a promise to Kavita. Neerja backs Arav.
PRECAP: Kavtia introduces Katha to everyone as the eldest daughter in law of Garewal family. Reet informs Katha about hosting the party. Katha must feel free to entertain herself as Reet will take care of the guests. Viaan enters the party with his mother.
