Kaun Banega Crorepati 14: Amitabh Bachchan opens up on his fear of snakes
The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 witnessed contestant Naveen Kumar sit on the hot seat with Amitabh Bachchan. During the game Naveen was asked a picture question where the first image was of a goat, the second was that of a snake, the third was a cow and the fourth was Tiger. After seeing the options Naveen chose option B and won Rs. 3000.
After he won the round, Amitabh Bachchan asked the computer to remove all the images from the screen especially the one with the snake. Naveen talked about it and shared that whenever he sees a snake he gets a fever. Big B added to the conversation and shared that he also is scared of snakes. Big B opened up about it and shared, “In my profession, it is very difficult to stay away from snakes. I have had a fever too because of it. We have to talk to the snake and request him to not bite us. In one of my scenes, I had a snake coming out from my chest, and brother I can’t tell you how much of a dead man I felt at that moment. I told my director I won’t be able to do this scene. After a lot of difficulties, they told me that we will keep a fake rubber snake in front of us and you can recite our dialogues with him and I was like yes that could be done. After holding it I was very calm and started talking to the fake snake. But after the scene had gotten over and everybody clapped, one of my assistants came and told me that the snake was not made of rubber, it was a real snake with whom I did a scene.”
Big B further shared that he was surprised and couldn’t believe that he did not recognize that it was a fake snake.
