Hosted by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, KBC 16 is scheduled to hit the television screens in August 2024. Reports indicate that Big B has already commenced filming for the new season, and he is eager to engage with audiences once again.
According to a report by India Today, Amitabh Bachchan participated in a mock shoot a few days before the official filming began. It has been confirmed that the veteran actor, known for his role in Kalki 2898 AD, started filming for Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 on July 24.
A source mentioned in the report stated, “The team had an excellent mock shoot and is excited to kick off the season with renewed energy. The show has retained its original format without any major changes.” The source further emphasized Amitabh Bachchan’s enthusiasm about returning to the show’s sets.
As announced by the show’s producers, Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16 will premiere on the Sony TV channel on August 12 at 9 PM. Hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, new episodes will be broadcast from Monday to Friday at 9 PM. This season’s theme revolves around the tagline, “Zindagi hai, har mod par sawaal poochegi, jawaab toh dena hoga!” which translates to “Life will ask questions at every turn, and you must answer!”
As with previous seasons, KBC 16 promises contestants a chance to win significant cash prizes by answering a wide range of trivia questions spanning various subjects worldwide.
